otos seemed so real and genuine. I liked the vibe of her photos and the candid shots that looked breathtaking. Upon sending an inquiry to her, we shortly received a reply and set up a facetime meeting. She sent over her wedding package offers and they were within range of our expectations and the date was available. Booking her was easy and all done online. We leaned on her for a choice of location for our engagement shoot. She found a stunning location in Palm Springs with the windmills that was perfect. Working with her was very easy as she is very nice and personable. We received our online gallery of the engagement shoot in just a few short weeks. We were impressed. We were/are both awkward in front of a camera but she was able to capture us being us. About a week out from the wedding, we received a timeline from Janae for the day off and what moments we wanted captured. The day of, Janae and her second photographer were there ready to work and on time. She had fun ideas for shots she wanted to take and had the whole wedding party in action! She moved through the whole ceremony and reception, clicking away and I never even noticed (very impressive). She had beautiful ideas for just the bride and groom photos and kept on schedule so we didn’t miss anything. And then it was over and I realized how fast it went by and how many moments I felt I missed or wish I could have lived longer. Then in just 2 days later, we received our sneak peak gallery! The images were beautiful and more perfect than I could have imagined. Just over a month after the wedding we received our full online gallery. I am beyond amazed with what we received. I cried real tears going though it all, she captured all those moments beautifully, and now they are forever preserved in time. We were so lucky to have been able to work with Janae and her talent for our big day and recommend other choose her as well.

Not only was she the photographer, she helped me coordinate day of, kept wild humans in line, kept us on track for the evening, AND had us a 70ish photo sneak peek three days after our wedding. Janae's work speaks for itself, she is kind, but strong and will help to see to it your day goes off without a hitch. Even keeping anxious moms in line, and checking in to be sure myself and hubby were doing okay hours prior to the wedding. Her work went well beyond day of, we had our engagement shoot in which she delivered the best sneak peek we could have ever asked for, getting to see her creativity at work months prior to our wedding was an amazing experience. For our engagement photos she headed up into the mountains with only a few days notice, because my hubby and I wanted snowy engagement photos- she did it, no questions asked. I cannot tell you how many questions I ran through her from outfit options, ceremony start times, how to navigate difficult family, etc. She even takes the time to get to know what YOU want as a couple, even individuals. Her pre-wedding questionnaire leaves no guess work for herself or you as a couple. Down to each and every single photo you could want, or what you may NOT want- which is equally important. Do not fear if you are that awkward human that does not photograph well, Janae is a ninja, and puts you and your spouse in just the right position, producing genuine moments, not just posed shots! Every laugh, kiss, and tear was pure reaction to a moment she had us falling into! We went with her package that included a second photographer DO IT. Those candid moments are just as important as the posed photos, having two sets of eyes makes it that much more likely they will get captured! You will not even know they were there. Opting to forego a videographer made photography that much more important to us, we wanted to be sure to have every moment captured. Her second shooter was a great fit for our crown as well. We also opted for her photobooth add in through Little Guy Photobooth DO IT- those photos were hilarious as well! We have laughed so much looking through the photos and boomerangs, everyone loves to let loose in those tings. Oh also the gallery of those photos was in my email the day after my wedding guys, that is more than I could ever ask for! d also camaraderie that Janae offers. Her photos are mind-blowing - every shoot she does lately my jaw drops, this girl is on fire! And when it came to our wedding, not only did she pull through with the things you'd expect, but she also had a detailed pre-wedding survey to make sure she was prepared and wouldn't miss a single detail or shot day of, and she spent ungodly amounts of time working with me to fine-tune my day of timeline (TOTALLY not her job, but she helped anyway with expert experience and knowledge). Furthermore, when you book additional services with her (e.g. photobooth, videography, etc.) you should rest assured she is se-lec-tive, and doesn't associate with any but the best. The second photographer she enlisted for our wedding day was on-point and a great support to her. Also - random side note - these two were *ninjas*, we barely noticed their presence other than for the staged shots. When we got our gallery we literally turned to each other at certain candids and asked "did you know they were there? I don't even remember seeing them!" An important final note - Janae is an amazing person, she's funny, she's kind, she's thoughtful, dedicated, calming, and has a great laugh. You'll love having her at your wedding and event not just for her quality of work, but for what she adds to the experience. Hands down can't sing her praise enough, can't wait to book her for anniversary and maternity shoots in the future (fingers crossed!) and have made strong recommendations to all my girls to do the same!

hoot. When we got there, my fiance and I were totally lost on what to do and how to act. Like a boss, Janae stepped up and gave us a pep talk encouraging us to relax, be ourselves, and pretend she wasn't there. We still weren't naturals despite her encouragement, but she didn't hesitate to step in and give direction when needed, still laughing and joking with us all the while. Then when I saw the photos - OMG words can't explain. It's like she saw straight into our souls and was able to tell our whole love story. I can see in the photos all the challenges we've overcome, all the triumphs, all the soft moments, and also all our hope and excitement for our forever future. If you're looking for someone who can take photos that are true to you, artful, glamorous, awe-inspiring, breath-taking, and 110% professional and technically exquisite photos - you've found your girl. I feel like my husband and I were able to get amazing, genuine moments because we were in Joshua Tree; a place that we loved and wanted to share that with our loved ones. Ian and I have never had professional photographs taken before and she made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Our photographs are availavlble in a user friendly gallery that made it really easy to share our photographs with family and friends. She was very professional yet relatable and personable. She's a great communicator and more than willing to work with you to make sure it's exactly what you want. She is more than willing to travel; actually encourages it. ... she asked questions to get to know us better and get an idea on what we wanted, and she made sure she captured that. Our engagement shoot was in Big Bear. She doesn’t settle for just any location, she goes above and beyond on where she takes her shots. The shoot was a new experience for both my husband and I since we’ve never taken professional photos before. We were nervous about it but she made us feel comfortable through every shot and we ended up with the most amazing photos! She helped make the wedding day go by as smooth as possible as well. She arrived at my hotel on time and had even done research prior, scoping out the area for locations on where we would do our first look and vows. She also helped us follow our strict timeline, so cooperation and team work was great when working with my husband and I, our coordinator, our bridal party, and huge family. The wedding photos of course turned out amazing. There were so many to look through and we had such a great time looking through them together and reminiscing. ictures are gorgeous, they're not typical cliché wedding pictures, and they show the couple's personality perfectly. I had my engagement pictures 9 months ago and I still look at them in awe. At my wedding, she didn't waste any time getting pictures done and getting the family ones done quickly. She was my own little cheerleader, made me feel hot, and captured me and my husband perfectly. She listened to what I thought was important and did more than I could have ever imagined. Booking Janae was the best wedding purchase I made, and I plan on using her in the future. DEFINITELY recommend Janae! She's the best!

She had a more candid perspective that allows for more natural moments rather than posey to be captured in forever memories. You can see her style on her website or social media to get a feel for it. It's enchanting. By her recommendations, I was able to book some of my other vendors. Her contract is very precise, so I knew what to expect and what I was going to get the day of. On her part, everything ran smoothly. She was very prompt with contact via emailing/texting/social media and wouldn't miss a beat. She ended up being my counselor, cheerleader, coach and a day coordinator when the big day came. I am a Libra with directions and with asking me a couple Qs, she was able to guide the best support. I am still not over how marvelous the quality of the images came out, but also how genuine Janae integrates a friendship as a core value of her service. You will trust her, and that will help her be able to get your vision across of how you want your most awesomeo life moment to be. :)

ried about her “style” of photography more than anything else. She’s also quite sassy and not in a cute way, more of an attitude. My husband felt like she treated us like she was doing us a favor as opposed to being a hired photographer. We also noticed that she missed a lot of family pictures. There was no edited photo of me and my mother which is a big deal to me. She also did my boudoir shoot which was definitely not worth the money. The lighting she did was not flattering and it seemed as if she’d only done a handful before. Maybe I should’ve done more research for my boudoir shoot though. And the worst part.. during the reception she walked up to me on the empty dance floor and started yelling at me saying she was starving. She told me that the coordinator forgot to order their food and it was going to take 30 min to get there. I can absolutely understand that she and the other vendors (none of whom decided to yell at me) were probably super hungry and I’d be upset too. But storming up to the bride and yelling at her about it was one of the most unprofessional things I’ve ever witnessed. What did she expect me to do if the food was already on the way? I’m still shocked about her terrible behavior. She also thought it was ok the change into a very large, old grey sweater. Not the biggest deal but you should probably stay dressed wedding appropriate.

I did my engagement shoot & wedding pictures with her and replaying my experience in my head, I would choose her every time when going about my vendors. She's professional, a quick thinker, easy going and thinks of everything. She's good at instructing how to pose for the pictures or how to be for action shots. She had my husband and I laughing and just having a really good time during our sessions. In my special case, my officiant was SUPER late...and she did a great job of having us do our first look and take pictures of our family. I look forward to working with Janae in the future, especially when the day comes that I will need maternity pictures. She's just so awesome and best decision I made for my wedding. What she captured is such a beautiful time in my life and I'm grateful such a beautiful & talented person took them for me. Thank you Janae!!!

r what I wanted for the engagement shoot, but all I knew was that I didn't want it to be too traditional. I didn't even give her much to work with because I honestly didn't even know where to start. She came up with all of it :) I appreciate her talents and patience working with me because after seeing a couple of the engagement photos, I got really emotional and wanted to ugly cry so bad, lol. She captured such a special moment for me and my fiance, she found a beautiful location, even made a bouquet, lol. She went above and beyond, and was very easy to talk to. She wasn't overcontrolling or pushy. I'm really so glad I found her, and we haven't even made it to the wedding yet (I'll update in December, lol). She is very professional and I recommend her!!
