The video from Julie and Daniel was so so perfect and captured the feel of the day perfectly. We also paid for video of the full ceremony, dances, and speeches so we can rewatch them in full and share with relatives who weren't able to make it. They were super easy to work with and we are in love with the highlight video. Can't recommend them enough!

I found J+D Photo and Video on instagram and chose them because I loved how artsy and film-like their work was but also because they were a photo and video team in one. Their rates were very affordable and fair, so I didn't feel like I was stretching my budget too thin by booking them. Julie and Daniel were so incredibly kind and warm, they made my husband and I feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. They got every single thing I asked for in my photos and video. The photos were stunning, they captured my wedding day so beautifully. And the video was better than I could have imagined, the quality and music and variation of shots were so good! Also, they gave me all of my photos and video less than three months after our wedding, all of my friends got theirs between 3-6 months after their wedding. Julie and Daniel were professional, kind, organized, punctual, and sooooo talented. I will cherish my wedding photos and video forever!!

Julie and Daniel are the sweetest couple! I met them when they were fresh in their videography and was already in love. They captures the sweetest moments and you can see the couples love through their work. They were easy to get ahold of, and worked so hard to make my husbands and I’d day special!

Julie & Daniel were a dream to work with. They had the exact style we were looking for: light and airy, romantic, candid. My husband and I had never taken professional photos before, and they made us feel so natural but also look like models after our engagement session in June at Buffalo Bayou. We were so excited for our wedding and naturally they did an amazing job! Julie sent us so many beautiful sneak peeks the day after our wedding, and we received the full album right at 60 days even after the holiday season. Both Julie and Daniel were so professional in the whole process from updating invoices, final day-of notes, digital albums and managing all of my family the day of the wedding. We were so tempted to get their videography package as we LOVE their work (check out their instagram), but couldn’t fit it in our budget so we had them do a full video of our ceremony, first dances and speeches instead and it was perfect for what we needed.

My husband and I had a small (11 guests) wedding ceremony on 3/20/2021, with plans to have a rehearsal at a later date when it would be safer to gather a bigger group of people. We had Julie as our photographer from 2-4pm (our ceremony started at 3pm), and she managed to capture some great detail shots, getting ready, the ceremony, individual portraits, couple portraits, family photos, and our cake cutting in that short amount of time! She was really friendly and enthusiastic, and kept up a stream of ideas for poses and shots. She was also willing to wear a mask and keep some distance from people, which we appreciated (this was before vaccines were widely available). We got 12 edited sneak-peak photos THAT NIGHT, and even though she estimated that our full gallery would be ready in 30-60 days, we actually got it in about 3.5 weeks! The photos are just gorgeous, and we have only good things to say about J+D. We wanted to hire J+D again for our larger rehearsal in November, but alas, they were already booked on our date, so they recommended a few photographers to us, and we ended up using one of them. A+ service, even when they weren't available!

Julie was amazing though out the entire planning, wedding day and post wedding process. I could tell that she really cared about her clients and would be excellent to work with. Her and her second shooter were so enjoyable to work with on wedding day and made us feel so comfortable! After the wedding, she did a great job of communicating when the videos would be ready (much appreciated). After watching our videos (highlight, ceremony, first dances, and speeches), I can say how thankful I am that we will have these with us moving forward. She did an amazing job capturing the most special parts of our day and we are forever grateful for her hard work!

Julie and Daniel were the first vendors we booked for our wedding! Within our first conversation I know that Julie was the one for us. We met in Houston for our engagement session and my fiancé was sold as well. Julie and Daniel made the whole thing so easy and thoughtless while giving us amazing pictures to look back on. Then come wedding day, Julie and Daniel both went above and beyond for My husband and myself. They were kind to each of our guests and simply felt more like old friends than “vendors”. I truly feel like they captured our love through their cameras but they captured our hearts with their friendship. We would recommend Julie and Daniel to anymore for Photo and Video! They are a dream team! They work so well together!

Having Julie and Daniel as our photographers for the most special day of our lives was the best decision! They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and we are so happy with all of our photos from both our engagement session and wedding day! They are quick at responding and have very clear communication which is so helpful when you’re planning a wedding! Not only that but they are incredibly kind and give off such positive energy! They are worth every penny! We even got our wedding photos in less than two months!

J+D were by far our favorite vendor. They are both very talented and resourceful, and they think of everything! I highly recommend them! Our DJ's mic stopped working and our video was still able to have great audio because J+D brought their own. I mean how awesome is that! Not to mention, the photos I received were the most beautiful photos I have ever seen! My husband and I loved them as our vendor, they are a great, talented, experienced, skilled couple. I hired them for my bridals and wedding. Book them! You will not regret it!

Julie & Daniel did our 'save the date' video before our wedding, I believe it was their first 'save the video' and they did an amazing job with beautiful music! They suggested us different locations and helped us ease ourselves while taking different shots since we were a little shy. They both showed us how to pose differently and made us feel comfortable. We would highly recommend them to all.

Now, this review is long overdue. We booked Julie and Daniel in November ‘20 for our wedding in March ‘21. From those initial phone conversations, I enjoyed Julie’s spunky personality. She was available at all times with whatever questions I had. Her and her husband, Daniel, make a great duo. We did an engagement photo session with them too and they just made it easy to be ourselves around them. When the big day came, I loved how they focused on all of the details. I am an architectural designer. So, I am all bout the details! They were very organized and did a great job at capturing everything. Our photo gallery is truly amazing. Even to this day (4 months later), I catch myself logging in and looking through our photos. Such beautiful, high quality work! Totally recommend them for your next event.

I'm not even sure where to begin! We first hired Julie + Daniel for our engagement photos. During that shoot we had so much fun and they created a calm, exciting and fun atmosphere. The photos came out beautifully! Still some of the most beautiful pictures my husband and I have of ourselves. Fast forward to wedding planning - we knew that only Julie + Daniel could perfectly and beautifully capture our big day. Due to COVID they were incredibly flexible in helping us reschedule and think over some things. When our big day came (April 17, 2021) -Julie + Daniel honestly were one of the best parts of our wedding day. Since the moment they walked into my getting ready room, their high energy and creativity took over. They had us laugh and just feel so relaxed. They helped us time everything and worked hard to keep us on track and get all the portraits we had dreamed of. It honestly felt like I had an additional two friends at my wedding instead of a couple of vendors. Julie + Daniel work hard to make your day the most incredible day. As if the day of the wedding wasn't enough - when we received our photos and video we were left SPEECHLESS and IN LOVE. How is it possible that they captured every teary eye, smile and kiss? Julie + Daniel captured our entire day in the most memorable and beautiful images. As a bride + groom, it is amazing to sit back and watch all that you planned for from every angle possible. We honestly feel like we relieve our day every time we see our pictures and videos. I've been told that you can feel the love and peace radiate through the images and not everyone has the gift to be able to let those emotions shine through. The highlight video leaves me teary eye each time, every moment so perfectly placed and matched with the rhythm. Choosing J+D Photo and Video was a top choice we made while wedding planning. They are both so talented and wonderful people to work with. They are very professional in their approach and so kind in their explanation of how to plan the wedding day. The work they did together as a couple was so seamless throughout our wedding day. So many people have asked who our wedding photographer was and I just have the best things to say about J+D! Julie took so much time to go through the wedding day timeline with us and offered suggestions while also taking the time to listen to what we had envisioned. They worked so well with our family members and showed so much care for what we decided to do as a couple. As a team, they are so great at responding to other vendors and the environment of our venue as well. They are so creative in their way of capturing the memories and being so careful in how to show us where to stand or how to position ourselves for the camera. Their work is absolutely phenomenal. We also didn't have to wait long to view all the amazing photographs so we've been so happy to share their work with others. We are so thankful for them as a couple!

Words can't even express how great these two are. From working with unphotogenic bride and groom (us) to handling the cold freeze in Texas with us and being patient when we were ready to not get photos outside. I just received my edits a few weeks ago, if the pictures didn't already make me cry the videos opened the flood gates. They did such a wonderful job being patient and helping us throughout the photo and video process of our wedding. Thank you, Julie and Daniel!. Julie and Daniel were so easy and flexible to work with! Due to COVID, I had to replan everything and they were able to still support me at a totally different venue and out of town as well! They were super sweet and made the whole process from planning to execution and to delivery day so seamless! I haven't stopped watching my highlight video and the full video was a blessing to have to share with family and friends who couldn't be there!

Just wanted to start off by saying Julie & Daniel were amazing and we are so happy we chose them! To be honest, we originally on the fence about getting a videographer but we were so happy we did as it allows us to watch our special day in motion instead of just through still images. From the very beginning to the very end, Julie was very organized, reliable, and so quick to respond back to any messages I sent. They were prompt on arrival time and are the sweetest couple to work with! They made the process so easy and seriously did a wonderful job in capturing all the important moments. Very professional couple, at first I didn’t think I needed a videographer but after seeing their past weddings I was convinced I needed them. Our highlight film captures exactly what I wanted plus more, I couldn’t be more thankful for having them. I still get testy every time I watch our video. They are amazing, and you will love their work!
