J&J Photography

l so comfortable in front of the camera, and always manage to capture the most beautiful moments from the perfect candids, to larger group shots, and everything in between. In addition to their incredible talent, Jodie and Jeremy exude professionalism, are incredibly organized, easily accessible, and truly the sweetest people you will ever meet! Their timeline and overall logistical planning made our wedding day so stress free and enabled us to achieve all of the photos I desired from getting ready to family photos and even sunset shots. Thank you for everything! I know that we will joyfully look back at these beautiful moments that you’ve captured of our special day for years to come. And we will definitely be recommending J&J Photography to all of our friends and family. Thanks again!

photography team and a married couple. This chemistry translated to their work before the wedding and on the wedding day. We spoke with numerous photographers when researching vendors and felt a genuine sense of compatibility with Jeremy and Jodie. Not all couples think about just how much time they’ll spend with the photographer on their wedding day, but we thought this was such an important consideration. Jeremy and Jodie understood our creative/romantic vision for our wedding day and the artistic opportunities our venue presented (where they’d never shot before), but they also matched our fairly laid-back personalities (my husband more than me!). Though my husband’s father was a professional photographer (journalism and weddings), my husband is fairly indifferent about having his picture taken. The engagement-style photoshoot that J&J offer as part of the package we selected was a great opportunity for us to “practice” being in front of the camera before the big day. We worked with J&J leading up to the wedding to discuss what shots were most important to us, and a few weeks out, we provided them with a shot-list, as they requested. On the wedding day, J&J were excellent about staying on schedule, which was important even though our cocktail hour was long (90 minutes; we opted to not do a first look, so we did most of our ‘staged’ photos during cocktail hour). In receiving our album after the wedding, we found J&J did a great job balancing the guidance we provided about “what to capture” on our wedding day with capturing the day as it actually unfolded – catching so many of the small, special moments of the day alongside the big moments. As an extra note: We booked a videographer (chosen at the recommendation of our wedding planner), but the videographer and J&J had never worked together before. Nevertheless, they had an excellent working relationship throughout the day (as far as we were told and could see!). Thank you, Jeremy and Jodie, for capturing our day so beautifully! - Ryan and Christina

ings about this outstanding duo! They are both amazing people with beautiful souls. They compliment each other so well and make the day run smoothly. They let me remain calm as I did not have to worry about anything. J&J photographed our engagement shoot and wedding, and we ordered our wedding album through them - absolutely amazing. The photos were better than ever imagined! We will cherish these photos and memories forever. Thank you so much!!!

nd I absolutely loved working with them and trusted them completely with capturing our day. They helped us prepare with a list of photos and were very receptive to my *many* requests on content and style. They were flexible with a last minute time change, and arrived early to set up. They are so fun to work with and really put me at ease the entire day, being organized and efficient without being pushy. Our entire bridal party and family absolutely loved working with them. And then we got the pictures back! OHH did we get the pictures back. They are absolutely gorgeous, and Jodie and Jeremy have a true talent for capturing the emotion of the moment forever in a photo. It is really important (but can be scary!) that you trust your wedding vendors, and I am so so happy that I trusted J&J. Their product is incredible, photos that I will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you is not enough, we are so grateful to have worked with this awesome couple!

and family fell in love with them. We stumbled upon J&J when our original photographer had a conflict with our wedding date and I feel like we were destined to work with them. They made us feel so comfortable, gave us great tips, and at put us at ease through both our engagement shoot and wedding day. They were so accommodating with our last minute engagement shoot and navigated us through the big day! Our photos were stunning and they were such champs during our rainy wedding day. Our images looked like they came straight out of a fairytale. I'm obsessed with them and would recommend them to any couple looking for a fun, caring and professional photographer. We love you guys and thank you for being a part of our big day!

hoto shoots we do. We love they way our photos came out. They were so easy to work with and make it so comfortable. Their communication is great and quick. At first we did not want to do a first look but after working with J&J and taking their suggestions into consideration we decided to do a first look, as this is what worked the best in our timeline of the day, looking back now we are very happy that we did a first look. We were so impressed with how we had our sneak peeks the morning after our wedding and were so impressed by the quality of them. We are obsessed with the pictures, they came out so beautiful. We wish we could give them 10 stars because that is what they deserve!! Thank you J&J for helping us re-live the best day of our lives through our photos!

: a husband and wife duo, Jeremy and Jodie. We booked them and chose a package option that included an engagement session, 8 hours of wedding day coverage, 2 photographers and online access to our photos. We loved that a lot of their previous work had “candid” vibes. My (now) husband HATES having his photo taken, so it was really important to us to have photographers that we felt comfortable around. Our engagement photos were a year before our wedding (we had a long planning process). When we met Jeremy and Jodie we felt at ease. They were super helpful and directing/demonstrating various “poses” and photo ideas. They both were so upbeat. We received our engagement photos back within a week and we were so impressed! For our wedding day, J&J created a timeline for us which we found super helpful. Before the wedding they also asked my husband and I for a family photo list (which kept the family photos organized and extremely quick!). They were prompt, professional and always super responsive. On our wedding day, they helped calm our nerves. We had spotty rain showers on our big day, but they helped reassure us that we would get great pictures. They were so efficient at getting us outside between showers, we ended up getting almost all of our pictures outside. Both my husband and I felt like we could relax and be ourselves around them, which in turn made our photos look more “natural”. To our surprise, they had “sneak peak” photos back to us the NEXT day, which included over 50 photos! We were so impressed. We are OBSESSED with all of our photos! We cannot recommend J&J Photography enough. We will definitely use them again!!

th our photos. I hate being photographed and they made it feel so natural. They were patient and very go with the flow and had to deal with the cold and rainy weather. We had to make a game time decision of whether or not to change our ceremony to inside, Jodie didn’t skip a beat and immediately said you hired us to take great photos so we’re staying outside, and I’m so grateful for her making that call. They both have such a good eye and will do whatever it takes to get the photos you want. We couldn’t have asked for a better pair, they are very organized, profesional, and truly a blast to work with! We are so thankful to have had them photograph our wedding and are thankful to have met such amazing people. The only photographers you will ever need!

not used to being in front of a camera and they made it feel so natural. They brought a calming presence to our wedding day and kept us exactly on schedule. We took our photos at Portland’s City Hall and last minute realized there were large graduations happening next door. They were able to claim an area and weren’t afraid to ask people to shuffle out of the way. From our photos you would never know that it was as crowded as it was! The photo booth was a huge hit with our guests as well. We feel so lucky to have them on our vendor team and to have met such a down to earth couple. Thank you Jeremy & Jodie!!

esent, professional, and provided guidance during the wedding day, and really helped keep us on track so the day ran smoothly. Their attention to detail while shooting and during editing truly made for incredible wedding photos that are so special to look back on. We truly feel so lucky to have worked with and had such a great experience with J&J Photography!

riendly, and captured every special moment of our special days beautifully. I have no doubt that they would have been the perfect New England photographer and would have been able to make even the most challenging weather look stunning. They even suggested the most stunning location for our engagement photos and the results were breathtaking. The wedding photos turned out amazing and truly captured the essence of our love and the joy of our day. I highly recommend Jeremy & Jodie to anyone looking for a talented and reliable wedding photographer.

t timeline. I got married in October, wasn't doing a first look, and had a traditional Church wedding, so we were fighting sunlight. They were organized, had a great creative vision, and were able to control a wedding party of 20 people .... THAT IS NOT EASY! I can't recommend them enough!

at ease the entire day. My husband (!) really does not like taking photos but after our couples session, he could not stop talking about how much he loved it. From our first meeting online, we knew we had to have J&J be a part of our special day. We are so excited to see the rest of our photos!

On our wedding day, they were so calm, cool, and collected and never made us feel rushed. They both have a great eye for what looks good and how to get a good shot. They are such a cool, fun pair and we are so happy that they got to be a part of our wedding day! Not to mention their pictures are gorgeous! We are so happy to have met them and to have their beautiful pictures!

s, the wedding planning process, the wedding day, and being able to see first looks the very next day, we couldn't have imagined a better experience with our photographers. Leading up to the big day, their communication was timely, professional, and gave us such an ease of mind knowing that we were going to be taken care of in the photography department on the day of. Day of, they were fun, professional, and so easy to work with - they both had such a good eye at capturing the right light and positions and made us feel truly comfortable. I can go on forever about how amazing they are!! BOOK THEM!!

mitted to their craft. Their communication and professionalism was personal and attentive. They created the timeline for the entire day and was thoughtful to add time where I wouldn’t even think is needed. During the day, Jeremy & Jodie guided us, while still having us revel in the moment. We received countless gorgeous photos of us, our venue and our guests. My husband and I couldn’t recommend anymore more. We are so obsessed with their work and can’t wait to have these photos around our home. We can’t thank Jeremy & Jodie enough for their calming presence, hard work, creativity and dedication to help make our day special!

but with J&J it was so easy, so simple, and we both were so comfortable with them that we actually enjoyed getting our pictures taken. They are not only amazingly talented, but they are so incredibly nice and after we walked down the aisle after saying we do, Jodi had a glass of champagne ready for us to both have a drink. They went above and beyond for us, and I will always recommend them to anyone in the New England area. You will not be disappointed with them. I cannot stop looking at out photos from that day and smiling because they captured everything we wanted. You can tell they both love what they do, they work so well together, and they truly are just amazing people and so much fun to work with. I laughed so much with them both and I wanted them to be my best friends by the end of the night. My obsession with their work is an understatement. You are one lucky couple if you are able to hire J&J as your photographers! THEY ARE AMAZING!

t some incredible shots from those moments. Their artistic eye is incredible. If you want to feel like your best friends are photographing your wedding, I highly recommend this pair! We got a sneak peak of edited photos a little less than a week after our wedding, and I cannot stop looking at them. Something that is really important is having your photographers be invisible, so we almost forget they were there when it came to the ceremony and reception, they blended in and just did their thing. They did an absolutely wonderful job getting all of our family pictures taken and made sure that we had enough time to enjoy the cocktail hour. Hiring them was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we can't say thank you enough.

th our wedding photos, and we have received so many compliments on them. Not only are the photos beautiful, but Jeremy and Jodie are also wonderful people with warm personalities. They made us and our entire wedding party feel at ease while capturing the authentic joy of the day. We highly recommend J&J Photography to anyone looking for a photographer!

ing over FaceTime a year ago, we were more than confident that they were the right fit for our wedding! They brought a sense of calmness to an exciting/hectic day, which we very much appreciated! They truly made our entire wedding day an unforgettable experience. This duo is incredibly talented, down to earth, professional, and creative. With only seeing a few of the photos captured on the camera screen, we are absolutely THRILLED with the work so far, and cannot wait to see our final products! We would highly recommend working with J&J for any occasion, big or small!!

ng he was! Even for such a small wedding, he made everyone feel extremely comfortable and my guests were singing his praises well beyond our wedding day, talking about how nice he was and how seamlessly he operated in the background while still sharing jokes and engaging in conversations with guests when appropriate. He was a real team player and even stepped in to help our caterers serve. It is clear he is a true professional and I cannot wait to see the pictures he captured! 5 stars, 10/10, would recommend J&J to anyone!!

or. The photos came out amazing! Jeremy is super fun and chill to work with. I highly recommend J&J photography.

I had never done a photo shoot before. That said, Jeremy and Jodie made the experience so comfortable and easy. In fact, I really enjoyed it! They are such a great team with a wonderful eye for scenes, settings and angles. While working with them you feel confident and happy that you selected them. They seem more like a new friend rather than someone you hired. Pumped to have them capturing the moments at our wedding next year!

e to work with for our big day. Our engagement shoot photos came out better than I could've ever imagined and although my fiancé and I are not huge "photo takers" we actually had a lot of fun doing it! We enjoyed our time with them so much that we decided to grab some drinks together afterwards. We're very much looking forward to having J&J be a part of our big day in June of 2021, and I just can't say enough good things about them. Aside from their obvious talent and easy personalities, I would say one of the biggest advantages of hiring Jeremy and Jodie is that they are a team of two, so they can really capture all of those special little moments that might be missed by just one photographer. Their rate for having a second photographer is also quite competitive compared to others I've researched, and it is ABSOLUTELY worth it...You can't go wrong with these guys!

taking pictures. J&J made our day so special and captured every moment from start to finish. We got every picture we could ever imagine and more. Our family and friends couldn't stop raving about how the pictures came out and we highly recommend J&J for your big day and any other special moments in life. Thank you for capturing our special day so perfectly! :)

, Jeremy was an invaluable help in finding alternative sites and bad weather options. He was very flexible and accommodating to our requests and multiple last minute venue changes. He went above and beyond to ensure that we would have a memorable day despite the circumstances. We LOVE our wedding photos and received so many compliments from friends and family on how beautiful the photos are. Look no further if you need a great wedding photographer.

& what we wanted for pictures we felt comfortable with Jeremy & J&J Photography. With very little to go on, other than a few shots we know we wanted, Jeremy produced a (very large) album of excellent photographs that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Jeremy was patient with us & provided the instructions we certainly needed in order from him to get the best shots without taking up tons of time in the process. The quality & quantity of the pictures we received were beyond what we expected. We cannot wait to have Jeremy & J&J Photography photograph our life events in the future, & would highly recommend to anyone looking for a photographer. Cheers to Jeremy & J&J Photography!

anning process, I knew immediately after clicking on the J&J Photography website that I wanted to use them. Jeremy was able to come out to a smaller ceremony on our original wedding date after we had to shift our plans, and was so flexible and accommodating with my always changing requests, even day of. I'm not super comfortable in front of a camera, but Jeremy made the experience fun and comfortable for everyone involved. My husband and I felt like we had an extra friend there with us on our wedding day. Our photos are STUNNING. I am still trying to decide which ones I want to get large prints of because I just want all of them. They honestly could not have come out more beautiful. Thank you so much to Jeremy and J&J Photography for making one thing about wedding planning during COVID a piece of cake. We can't wait to have you back at our anniversary party next year!

ons, however we decided to still have an intimate photoshoot. From the start Jeremy was INCREDIBLE! He was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the planning process. He helped to make our day feel special despite not having our wedding as planned. He went above and beyond to help us find a new location for photos when we had to change (3x) due to coronavirus and bad weather! Additionally, he was willing to scale rocks in the rain in order to get the photos that I dreamed of. He is an incredibly talented photographer and I could not be happier with my wedding photos!!

we had a blast! The pictures were absolutely breathtaking. I wanted to note that we had scheduled our photoshoot to be on a different day, but they called us to reschedule due to wind, knowing we wouldn’t love the outcome of the photos. It was so thoughtful of them. They really go above and beyond for their clients. I know we made the right choice in selecting Jeremy and Jodie to be our wedding photographers. I can’t wait for our special day, I know they will capture it perfectly.

GHLY Recommend J&J Photography!!

engagement photoshoot and couldn’t wait to have him capture the big day! He was a great presence to have on the wedding day and kept things fun while still making sure we stuck to our timeline. A week after our wedding he sent over sneak peeks and they are AMAZING! I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the rest of the gallery! I highly recommend hiring J&J Photography!

al pandemic. Our plans changed a hundred and one times, and Jeremy was incredibly accommodating and the calming presence we needed throughout the entire process and especially on the day of. We were absolutely thrilled with the way our photos came out - our family and friends haven't stopped raving about them since we shared our gallery. There is nothing more I could have asked for in a wedding photographer. We love recommending J&J to all our friends getting engaged!

talented and serene wife, Jodie to take pictures as well. The talent and skill here cannot be matched, the pictures we received touch our hearts and will be passed down to family for generations. But not only is the quality spectacular and moving, it truly matters who you spend time with on your wedding day and my husband and I cannot say enough good things about Jeremy and Jodie. They exude happiness and comfortability and peace. They both felt like family members by the end of the day. Our wedding day flew by,but now the pictures we are left with encapsulate who my husband and I are, how we feel about each other, and how we felt about getting married. (Overjoyed). Jeremy and Jodie are wonderful and I cannot recommend J&J photography whole heartedly enough, or put into words how much positive impact they had on our wedding day.

etting ready) and together (first look, bridal party/family photos, ceremony, reception). I didn't even know they were there during the ceremony and reception and we ended up with an amazing portfolio of photos from our day. I would highly recommend J&J Photography!

le, was very genuine, took any requests with a smile and has every quality you'd want in a photographer. He made the awkward poses fun and had really creative ideas for photos! During the planning process Jeremy was always responsive to emails or phone calls making everything go smoothly. On the day of our wedding, Jeremy had a second shooter with him, Michelle, who was equally as professional. Together they captured our day perfectly. After our wedding, it was worth the wait because oh my gosh we were speechless, the pictures were AMAZING. We have J&J Photography to thank, now we get to look back on our special day and relive it through his photographs! A million thanks to Jeremy and his team, we couldn't recommend them enough!

as such a blast to work with. Our photos came out absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The whole process was so easy which took such a great deal of stress off throughout the whole planning process. Our whole wedding day flew by, therefore it was so important that we worked with someone we trusted to capture all the moments that we never want to forget. We are so impressed with Jeremy’s work and highly recommend him!

y was perfect and always kept in communication with us. From our engagement pictures to our wedding day, he helped us feel comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend him for any event!

os within a week of our wedding! We had around 130 guests. We did a first look and all other photos during cocktail hour. Although Jeremy did an amazing job, we recommend getting a second shooter for weddings larger than 100 guests to keep things on time and to capture photos of guests, little details and different angles. We highly recommend Jeremy!

ictures came out amazing!!! They look clear, classy, and elegant. Our wedding venue has already used a few of the pictures in their wedding ads. Jeremy is such a talented photographer. We HIGHLY recommend him.

honest, simple and warm, it's exactly what we had hoped for yet even better. He's a dream to work with and just such a great guy, we'd book him again in a heartbeat!

s feel completely comfortable and at-ease on the wedding day – he even gave me a bit of a pep talk when I was stressing out over running late. I know that i'm always going to treasure the photos he took of our wedding — from the family formals to the candids of guests dancing at our reception — and can't say enough about what a joy it was to work with Jeremy. You really couldn't find a better wedding photographer!

e and makes the whole process so easy and comfortable. Our family and friends loved him as well! It’s going to be hard to pick our favorite photos because they are all stunning, but we would recommend Jeremy to everyone!

we knew that it was a great match. He was so calm, organized, detail-oriented, and patient. He made sure the day moved smoothly and that every photo we were looking for was taken. We would recommend him to all of our family and friends and would hire him again in a heartbeat! One of the best decisions we made was hiring him as our wedding photographer.

t hectic, but he was very patient and helpful moving the group photos along! He organized the scheduling of our photos so that we were able to enjoy every aspect of our day that we wanted to, and even helped us escape to take a romantic sunset picture! The day of, he was such a calming presence. I don't enjoy having my picture taken especially awkward formal photos, but Jeremy was able to capture so many precious moments, we are so genuinely happy with our wedding pictures! I can't recommend him enough!
