Jenn & Ro were everything we could have hoped for on our wedding day. They captured some of the realest and most special moments all throughout the day from the second they arrived until they left. They’re the nicest people and make you feel comfortable with them. We just got married on Friday 10/25 and they also already had teaser pictures up by Saturday. The pictures are breathtaking so I can’t even imagine what the rest of them are going to look like. Jenn and Ro helped us do a photoshoot that started as an idea in our heads. My fiancé (now husband) is a Marine and wanted to take old school photos with his service uniform while I dressed in a 1950’s style. We came up with the idea to feature these photos in our wedding decor. It was a spontaneous, last-minute idea and understandably, our wedding photographer was unavailable to do this before our wedding (one month away). However, Jenn and Ro were! Jenn and Ro gave us breathtaking photos and made the photoshoot very easy and fun. As a married couple, they helped demonstrate the poses for us and Jenn came in to fix my hair and outfit for each photo. We even had an outfit malfunction and they rolled with the punches. Jenn and Ro managed to get the finalized photos for us in a timely manner. We ended up having English time to incorporate our photos into a coffee table book. Guests signed pages as they got to check out our photos as another way to pay homage to his military status in our wedding. That alone added class and elegance to our big day. While we didn’t have Jenn and Ro as our wedding photographers, they are certainly a team we would recommend for any wedding. They are professional, friendly, and clearly love their jobs. I’d say their style is dark and moody which was perfect for giving our photos a vintage feel!

We got married 7/13/24 in a heat wave…. As the bride I was over heated in makeup and dress. Jenn and Ro were super hero’s making sure we got every picture in and out of heat, making sure we had breaks. They helped us and our family feel so comfortable and it felt like hanging with friends. We had our engagement photos with them yesterday. We haven’t received the final photos yet, but I already know they’re going to be stunning. I don't even know where to begin! Jenn and Ro are fantastic photographers and wonderful people. Their personalities are infectious, kind, and they genuinely care about getting to know their clients to capture their special day. As an example, my parents own a restaurant in NYC, and Jenn and Ro took the time to check it out, which meant a lot to me. It really felt like they wanted to connect with us as a couple and understand who we are before photographing our big day. Additionally, about six months before our wedding, I emailed Jenn to inquire about film photography. She initially responded that they didn't offer it, but within a few weeks, I received a tag on Instagram indicating that they had purchased a film camera. What a dream vendor! They were incredible throughout the entire planning process, from start to finish, and fully embraced and executed our vision. They made us feel so comfortable, and because they are lovely and funny people, we had a blast during all the photo sessions. We initially hired Jenn and Ro to photograph our wedding upstate, and at the last minute, we requested them to attend our welcome event and do a mini portrait session for us. They happily obliged, and coincidentally, they were also in Aruba at the same time as us for our honeymoon and we did a mini shoot there as well! Can't recommend them enough. THANK YOU!!!

I honestly don’t have words with how amazing Jen and ro are. They are so talented and awesome people. We used Jenn and Ro for our 10/7/23 wedding and they were an absolute dream to work with. Our package came with an engagement shoot and from the moment we met them in June we knew they would make us feel comfortable during our day. My now husband and I are both a little camera shy and never know how to pose or what to do and they were so patient and awesome with capturing all the best natural shots on our day. They were professional, timely and easy to communicate with. We would recommend them for your wedding and would certainly work with them again if we have another opportunity!

Jenn & Ro - we would give more than 5 stars if we could! From the very beginning of our wedding planning we knew we made the right choice in having such supportive and knowledgeable photographers as a part of our day. We loved that they are a married couple so could lead us by example in the poses as we got comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement shoot. They were so understanding and helpful in getting us all of the locations and combinations that we wanted for engagement, and got our pictures back to us quickly. On our wedding day, because of Jenn's documents and foresight, they had everything in hand and I didn't need to worry about getting the shots we wanted because I had full trust in them to handle that for us. It really allowed us to enjoy the day and felt like we had friends with us instead of strangers. Their special touches along the way proved over and over that they are the best around. Don't hesitate - book them asap!

Jenn and Roh were simply amazing. Planning with them was very easy. Everything they do is well thought out beforehand and we had little question they had our vision in mind. The pictures we have gotten so far are spectacular. We have gotten amazing feedback from all of our guests. Thanks to their great communication we were able to get through the family photos quickly and they blended into the background until we needed to take more photos. Everything we asked for they were able to accommodate. It was a pleasure to see them working together as they seemed to be having just as much fun as we were. They truly love what they do.

Getting engaged and shopping for vendors is overwhelming: you want your wedding day to be perfect and you hope for a collection of photos that captures the magic of the wedding night. While "vendor-shopping", a lot of photographers set you up with the owners of the company and you do not have the pleasure of speaking directly with the artists who will photograph you the day of your wedding. While my brother and sister-in-law used Jenn and Ro for their wedding, I was determined to shop around for "my own" vendors. However, from the moment we zoomed with Jenn and Ro, we knew they were the photographers for us. Their laid-back nature was so calming for me (a high, strung bride). We connected so well with them and had SO MUCH FUN with them at our engagement shoot - since they are husband and wife, they helped guide our poses and made us feel so comfortable. They also use video-photography and post / share "teaser" photos within days of the events which most vendors charge extra for. I already miss them and am excited for the next time we can use them as our photographers since I not only love their work, but I also enjoy their company!!

J & R Photography was the first vendor that we booked for our wedding! We fell in love as soon as we saw the amazing consistent photography that they produce! The best thing you can do for your wedding, or any event for the matter, would be to book J & R Photography! Their incredible, unique, consistent, and breathtaking work speaks for themselves, so I wanted to take the time to talk about our experiences working with Jenn and Ro! First, if you are debating whether or not to do an engagement shoot, please let this be your sign! We were able to get to know Jenn and Ro and how comfortable and natural they make you feel! My husband was SO nervous and not a fan of photos, but they know exactly what to do to set us up for success. Needless to say, our engagement photos were breathtaking!!!!! This allowed my husband and I to be comfortable around them during our wedding day, as though we have known them for years! Additionally, our DJ had a screen set up at our venue and to our surprise Jenn and Ro had our engagement photos on hand and were able to provide them to the DJ! This created a perfect touch that we did not anticipate!!!! We had multiple people come up to us after the wedding complimenting the photos and also mentioning how professional and fun Jenn and Ro were!!! We also had a few people tell us they wanted their contact information for their future wedding! Further, we had a handful of individuals who only spoke Spanish at our wedding, my grandparents being one of them. Being surrounded by primarily english speakers, Jenn and Ro were able to provide them with such relief and made them feel comfortable and confident! Moreover, Jenn and Ro have been so accommodating throughout this two year process for us. Not only were they understanding when we completely changed our VENUE! They were able to accommodate photos with our dogs at the very last minute! (A few DAYS notice!!!!) We also had a few impromptu Slovak traditions that Jenn and Ro, (as well as myself and the groom) had no idea about!!! But Jenn and Ro were there and ready to capture every special moment! Additionally, as a veterinarian, I knew we hit the jackpot with Jenn and Ro because they are animal lovers themselves with two perfect pups at home, they knew exactly what to do and say to get the best photos of our boys! Their attention to detail is incredible! I had this family rosary that I wanted specific photographs of during the ceremony! With the fun chaos of the day, I totally forgot!! Jenn and Ro asked me about it and without them, I would have totally missed the shot that I wanted! They take every request we have into consideration and even though they are having a good time with us, they are paying attention to EVERY DETAIL and request that we had. THE BEST BONUS!!!! The guidance Jenn and Ro provide is unmatched. They are true professionals who know this business inside and out. They are willing to offer advice during preparation for THE most incredible day of our lives. They are fun, beautiful, and talented humans who will do everything to make this the best experience for every couple. There is a reason they have the amount of reviews and stars that they do. Jenn and Ro are they nicest couple in the world! When we saw our engagement photos, we were blown away! They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and made us feel like models. We cannot recommend Jenn and Ro enough!!! From booking them until the very end they were fantastic in communicating and making sure that our day was special tailored to what we were looking for. We are not naturals in front of the camera, but the both of them made it so easy and made sure to pose us exactly right. They had a great mix of both professionally posed photos and candids. Our bridal party loved them too-- so personable and everyone felt comfortable working with them. The way that they do routine family photos is so quick, seamless, and drama free :) Our guests loved the photo booth and we especially loved looking at the guest book the day after. J&R photography was the vendor we were most excited for and they did not disappoint. We haven’t gotten all of our pics back yet but we’ve received a few sneak peaks and we used them for our engagement photos. Their style is unmatched and they are so amazing to work with. Jenn and Ro are the REALEST people in the wedding game. My now husband, is NOT a picture person, I had to drag him to engagement photos and the minute he met Jenn and Ro, he was calm and cooperative. Our engagement shoot was at Laurita Winery and every single picture was a framer! They put us at ease from the start and by choosing a natural environment, it made it lots of fun! Wedding day, Jenn and Ro were NATURALS. They were prepared, got every photo we asked for and did everything in a timely manner. We even had some down time to relax between photos and our ceremony. They tolerated our crazy bridal party and had some fun with us as well. They worked amazing together but also with our videographer and other vendors. We only have a sneak peek back from our photos but I have no doubt that we will love every single shot. They just simply have the eye for it and I would trust them with ANY event in the future. We are so thankful to be a J&R bride and groom and are looking forward to having sessions with them in the future!

I first met Jenn and Ro years ago at my best friends wedding and instantly knew that I wanted them to be my photographers when it came time for me to get married. When I started to plan my wedding, they were the first vendors I booked. They are two amazing people who not only have the best personalities but they also produce amazing pictures. If I can give any piece of advice - it’s to invest in your photographers and make sure you are working with people you vibe with, they will be with you for 8+ hours and are responsible for your lifetime of memories. We had to postpone our wedding a few times and they worked with us to secure their services when our plans changed. J&R Photography was the first vendor we booked for our wedding. We instantly fell in love with their photography style- capturing our moments exactly as they were. It was important to us that we weren't going to have photos that would look very "dated" down the line (which we were worried about with the whole light and airy photography trend that's been popular)- and they absolutely delivered. They took so many beautiful photos that it's hard to pick a favorite. They were so patient with us through a year of postponement. Jenn & Ro are a husband and wife photo team who are not mentioned in here nearly enough. We used them for both our engagement shoot & wedding day and will be booking them for any future photo needs. J&R made us feel comfortable from the first time we met, and were amazing at making us laugh throughout the day, as well as catching the attention of our 3 year old ring bearer. Despite being incredible busy with weddings this season, J&R got us our teasers within 4 weeks & our full gallery in 6 which was well ahead of our contracted timeline. Jenn & Ro we’re such a pleasure to work with. Scrolling through IG and finding their work was meant to be. We knew we wanted photographers to capture all the intimate and candid moments. I said to myself that i wanted to look back at our pictures many years down the line and feel the same emotions. Let me tell you, these two are the most proactive vendors in all of wedding vendors- if a problem arises they are quick with the solutions. You want a picture at a specific spot? You got it! Time is running out? Sure no problem, they will make it happen just for you. 10/10 across the boards, communication on point, flexible and patient, detail oriented yes, people person (we sat down with them before booking them in their cute office and personally got the chance to know each other) and of course photography skills (Ro is knowledgeable with his craft and they both are great at posing you— for the awkward couples, LOL). They shot our engagement photos and after that i knew we were in good hands. They kept in touch throughout the planning and we had a detailed zoom meeting weeks before our wedding. We HIGHLY recommend J&R Photography!! Not only are Jenn & Ro genuinely good people and down to earth, they are also ridiculously talented. They captured some of the most beautiful photos I had ever seen from our engagement shoot at Liberty State Park in March 2020, just days before lock downs. Little did we know what was to come. How do I put into words what an incredible team Jenn and Ro are!? From the moment we sat down for a consultation, we knew these two were different from any of the other photographers we met. What more can you ask for than a couple who understands and demonstrates what real love is and can learn and grow with each other through a business they created together!? It is Jenn and Ro’s genuine personalities that made us feel so comfortable during both our engagement session and wedding day! They knew exactly what we were looking for and even encouraged us to get the most creative shots that we will treasure forever. Jenn and Ro are simply the best! From the start they made us feel comfortable, even over zoom. Our engagement shoot was the first time we met Jenn and Ro in person and even after a rainstorm they made the shoot happen! Leading up to the wedding day they were in constant communication with us. Going over our shot list and all the little details of the day. On the actual day, Jenn and Ro could not have been better! We had a blast with them during our solo shots, keeping us laughing and moving to all different locations at the venue. During the wedding party photos, they kept everything moving along, which was key since it was 90 degrees with a rainstorm approaching! My husband Mike and I cannot say enough great things about J&R Photography! I am so thankful that I came across their work browsing wedding websites and saw more samples in person at a local wedding showcase. At our initial meeting Jenn and Ro were so friendly and laid back, and we could tell that they truly love their work and their clients. Jenn & Ro were super cool, very organized, and so easy to work with- one of the few wedding planning items that wasn't stressful in the midst of covid19! The adjective that we've gotten most when showing people our wedding photos is "stunning" and we would definitely agree- we love them SO much and they really captured the emotion of the day! Our venue also has an area with waterfalls and Jenn & Ro hopped the railing with no hesitation and climbed down into them with us to get the photos we had envisioned and some amazing drone shots! I have already recommended them to a friend who is getting married next year and would tell anybody who is hoping to have incredible wedding/engagement pictures and have fun doing it, that they can confidently book J&R!

I had first come across them at a friend’s wedding and when I saw what beautiful photos they captured, that they managed to be there for all the big and small moments that make a wedding special, I knew my now-husband and I would have to look no further when it came time to book photographers for our big day. But what I didn’t know then was that, beyond ensuring we’d have gorgeous keepsakes to remember our wedding by, by signing on to work with Jenn and Ro, we were getting to work with the kindest, most compassionate, down to earth (and all the while, most professional) photographers there are in this business. They are quick to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. They manage to balance being flexible and organized in such a way that you cannot help but be relaxed in their presence (all while sticking to a schedule; seriously, it’s a magical skill they possess). They’re easy to talk to and give excellent direction. And most importantly, they care. Ours was one of the many weddings this year that needed to be postponed because of COVID-19. When we let them know that we needed to reschedule our wedding, they offered their help in whatever was needed and communicated clearly that they totally understood our position. And when we went on to decide that we would have a small ceremony on our original wedding date, they were happy to be there to capture that day, too! Having Jenn and Ro there that day truly made it feel as special as I hoped it originally would be. And to boot, they were pros at dealing with a groomsman’s bashful daughter, camera shy father of the bride, emotional mother of the bride and especially crazy dog. This review is long overdue - Jenn and Ro are the absolute BEST!!!!!! I cannot recommend them enough. I fell in love with their style when I was looking at photos of my venue (the NYBG) and saw one of their photos featured. I reached out to them that day and never looked back! Working with them was truly seamless, and they made my husband and I feel super comfortable during our engagement shoot (something we were worried about!) On the day of our wedding, our timeline was messed up due to another vendor, and regardless of that, Jenn & Ro helped calm me down and made sure we took all of the pictures we wanted. I was in awe when we received the pictures about 6 weeks later - they truly were able to capture so many small, candid moments that I would never have seen, and our couple pictures are flawless! They are so amazing at capturing evening light - their "glow-hour" and sunset photos are my absolute favorite. Our friends and family raved about the pictures and how professional and kind Jenn & Ro were, especially when taking pictures of us with my 95 year old grandmother. I am so so grateful for them and couldn't have picked better photographers. We also designed a wedding album with them which is beyond gorgeous, as did my parents. There are not enough words in existence to describe how incredible Jenn and Ro are. They are a true dream team with a knack for professionalism, creativity, and the power to make a camera-shy couple, shine! I walked into an NJ Bridal Expo in January of 2019 and they were the first vendor I came in contact with. Thank goodness I did, because I instantly felt their warmth and pure genuineness and knew we HAD to have them photograph our wedding. We also did an engagement shoot with them a year before our wedding as a warm-up to getting comfortable in the camera. I cannot begin to express how much we love Jenn and Ro! I'll take you back a year and a half ago when the then fiance (now husband) and I started to plan our wedding. We didn't have a location, a venue, or anything but we started to take about what we would like to have for our wedding. We began to do plenty of research and we both sent each other the website for J&R Photography. Fast forwarding a little bit, we booked our venue, J&R happened to be on the Loft by Bridgeview's preferred vendor list and we immediately recognized the name. When it came to photographers, we kept going back to J&R. We then set the gears into motion and shortly after did a video meeting with Jenn and Ro. I don't even think the meeting was over before we'd even made our decision to book them. Jenn and Ro took time out to help us in our planning and giving us ideas. Not to mention our wedding was during covid, the amazing duo reassured us and were definitely a big part in making us feel comfortable going forward and not postponing. Now here comes the good stuff... Jenn and Ro met every expectation and more during our wedding. I myself am not the most comfortable in front of the camera in those type of situations and Jenn and Ro were patient and great at describing and showing us poses. My husband went to acting school so it was probably a little bit easier for him but we both agreed that Jenn and Ro made us feel like models/celebrities! And then when family were trying to cluster around and watch, without a second thought they were able to give us the privacy we needed. They were also super respectful and conscious of the safety of our guests and even for some of our guest's covid related concerns. The day after the wedding, without even expecting it, Jenn and Ro gave us a sneak peek of one of the pictures and oh my god, they are worth every penny and more. Honestly just that one photograph proved we'd made the right choice! We plan to order albums for sure!!! Jenn and Ro, thank you so much for everything that you've done for us and will continue to do!
