Booking J&S Entertainment was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our first meeting, Joe was focused on making our day perfect. The music was incredi...
ble the whole day, he captured the exact vibe we wanted. We told him we love movie scores and he curated our entire cocktail hour with instrumental scores from movies we love (our guests loved it too). Open dancing music was PERFECT. The dance floor was full the whole night. He played a great variety of music and included songs that were special to us and our friends.
Most importantly, Joe went above and beyond for us on our wedding day. We opted not to hire a videographer and he surprised us by recording our entire ceremony and other special moments throughout the day. The next day he sent us a Google Drive link with all of the photos and videos he captured. We cannot express enough gratitude that he helped us capture memories that we will watch for many years.
We recommend J&S entertainment 1000% for anyone planning a wedding. The attention to detail and care that Joe puts into his work is truly special.
We just got married and were so lucky to have had J&S entertainment be a part of our wedding day. From start to finish, working with Joe was such an easy and fun experience. From t...

Joe Bunovsky was an extremely talented DJ for our wedding at Wrights Mill Farm in June of 2025. He was polite, proactive, and read the room incredibly well and created a dance floo...
r for our wedding that was full of energy and love and laughter. We are truly grateful and would recommend him to any couple searching for a great DJ for their wedding!
Joe was absolute best DJ for our wedding! He used the app Vibo which was so easy and convenient to use and his website was also great. He did a fantastic job during our ceremony, ...
cocktail hour and reception. He kept everyone dancing during the reception and played all of our absolute favorites. He is extremely professional and fun, and will make sure that your day is exactly what you want.

c, and really kept the dance floor energized the entire night. I still can’t get over how perfect the transitions were. Joe went above and beyond with the services he provided too, making sure that we had a truly amazing party. The GoPro footage he took is something we will treasure forever! The mic-ing for the ceremony, including for our live musicians, was seemeless and quick, and it all went perfect. Joe’s communication is on point as well. His use of technology to both help organize your communication with him, but also plan out your whole wedding really helps to simplify the process. We (and Mother Nature) threw a lot of challenges Joe’s way, at a venue he wasn’t familiar with, and he still performed flawlessly. Joe also brought along Tessa, who was a fantastic addition to our wedding, and it was great to watch them DJing side-by-side. Joe and team will make your wedding something special, no doubt.
Just wrapped up our wedding weekend and with Joes help it was a 10 out of 10! From our first zoom meeting we knew Joe was our guy. The app he shared was easy for us to add songs an...
d when to play. His expertise with the Madison Beach Hotel made it a no brainer to go with Joe. He read the room perfectly, knew when to play what song and kept our people on the dance floor until the very last second. The lighting package transformed the room completely. We also had him set up outside for the ceremony in the lawn which was done extremely well. Joes professionalism and passion for his gigs shows through him. We can’t recommend J and S enough! Thanks for the memories! - Alex and Tiffany
We hired Joe and his team to DJ our 75-person wedding reception this weekend. It was an eclectic group, ranging from ages 18 months to 88 years old. Joe was able to find common g...
round throughout the evening, though he was surprised by our request for GNR to close out the night. The photo is a screen grab of that final number.
Joe was 100% professional, his sound system was amazing, and his base package included great dance floor lighting. Joe would be my first and only call for a DJ when I needed one again. We highly recommend him for any event that needs great audiovisual.
We hired Joe for our wedding a few weeks ago. From the get go, Joe was nothing but helpful. He had such an easy process to pick the music we would like and to basically make an iti...
nerary that he could follow without unnecessary communication! It made the whole process easy! He even went above and beyond and worked with my family to create a small surprise for me... something he was so nervous but excited to do. We are so thankful that he was apart of our special day and highly recommend him!!

We hired Joe for our July 9th wedding at smith farm gardens in east haddam. We cannot say enough great things about him and his team who set up the photo booth. Music was one of th...
e most important aspects of our wedding as I wanted everyone to have a great time on the dance floor. I wanted great classics mixed with new songs but not the stereotypical wedding playlist. Joe absolutely nailed it! We would have been dancing all night if our venue hadn’t had a end time! He was professional and kind and all the equipment for our ceremony and reception worked seamlessly. We wish we could do it all again!
Hands down the worst experience. When I began to consult with this dj everything seemed perfect. He was very responsive, flexible, and the interaction was great. The day of my wedd...
ing which was on 4/29/22 everything just changed. His equipment began to give him issues as he was setting up, that just threw everything off, his mood changed. The music and genre’s that was selected was not played. The playlist that I provided was not used. The songs that needed to be played as my wedding party entered was mixed up, the names of my wedding party was wrong. The foam lights I asked to be given out was not. Everything that was discussed prior to my wedding just went out the window. This was a huge disappointment. Oh and the photo booth that I chose in addition to the dj package and lights was not the best. The props and printed pictures did not meet my expectations. When my husband and I entered he didn’t even have the crowd stand, he wasn’t lively, people barely danced. Just overall a huge disappointment.
We had the best experience with Joe as our wedding DJ! We had many last minute changes that he came to the rescue on and saved the day for us. Prior to the wedding, Joe was very ea...
sy to work with and readily available to consult with on our wedding day plans. At the wedding, he really got the party going. There was not one moment during the reception that we didn’t have people on the dance floor. His sophisticated equipment and knowledge in sound engineering really shown through. We highly recommend Joe for your wedding DJ!

f the family is Polish and he did an awesome job incorporating some Polish music and pronouncing my parents' names during their intros (which I truly appreciated). We had people on the dance floor all night!
The week before the wedding, there was a technical issue with our photo mirror and Joe went above an beyond to make sure we had one at our reception, which I truly appreciated. He is a great guy and awesome DJ. Highly recommend!

We had Joe cover our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The dance floor was packed from 9-12! We highly recommend him!

dd to our team of vendors. It was very easy to collaborate with Joe and I felt like we were on the same page for my vision of avoiding "cheesy" wedding music and activities. Leading up to the wedding my husband and I had no concerns regarding Joe's ability to execute on what we had talked about. He kept the dance floor going all night with the perfect music to fit the vibe and did a great job at reading what the crowd wanted. With Joe's recommendation we made a last minute addition of some special dance floor lighting and it really made the party pop. Bottom line you can trust Joe to do a great job!

We found J&S Entertainment online while planning our long distance wedding in CT from Florida and Joe was our DJ. As soon as I inquired on his website, I had a very fast response ...
and we were both chatting about my wedding plans on Zoom an hour later! We planned a second virtual meeting when my husband got home from work and we were both so impressed with his presentation and thoroughness. From start to finish, the planning was very easy. On our wedding day, Joe made the room look magical with lights. We had stars projected on the ceiling and lighting all around the room. The music was on-point! My husband and I love to dance and the music was seamless all night. Joe's professionalism and fun personality made for a night we'll never forget! If I still lived in CT, I'd be sending all of my friends his way.

h and every wedding! When we were guests, we just had fun and danced. When it was our turn to plan a wedding we were immediately struck by how thorough and organized he is. Communication was exceptional throughout the entire process. He keeps track of every detail through an online portal. And when it came to music and timeline planning, he has an amazing online app that let us choose our special songs and plan out the entire day and then share it with our coordinator. It was super easy! On the day of our wedding, Joe arrived over two hours early to make sure everything was set up and tested long before anyone arrived. He perfectly executed our timeline and when it came time to dance, his ability to keep guests engaged is off-the-hook! For days after our wedding, we were flooded with texts from our family and friends telling us how much fun they had. I wouldn't hesitate one minute to hire J&S Entertainment! Thank you Joe for making our day so special!!!
Joe did such a great job DJing our wedding, from our first conversation with him all the way through the end of our wedding day. He is extremely professional and experienced, easy ...
to work with, quick to respond to questions, and made us feel confident that the day would go smoothly! He uses a great app that made it very easy for us (and selected guests) to put in song choices, requests, and 'do-not-play' requests. He is also great at reading the room and getting people on the dance floor without a prescriptive playlist, so we were able to tell him our general preferences and vision and leave the rest to him. Overall we had a great experience working with him and would definitely recommend!

dding day flawless. Joe was able to read the room within minutes and his music choices, along with ours, had our family and friends (and us of course) dancing the entire night! Honestly, Joe and J&S Entertainment Co. are the perfect choice for any event.
John did a great job making sure the music was perfect for our low key reception! Thank you John for making it everything we wanted!!

ked, but was by no means overbearing. We used this AMAZING app to add songs to "Must play/Don't play" as well as certain slots; processional, mother/son dance, closing song, etc which made things super easy overall. I loved that in the months leading up tot the wedding, I could be reminded of a song and just whip out my phone and add it! Prior to our wedding day, Joe made it a point to schedule a walk-through with our venue on his own (so appreciated when we were planning a million other things). Throughout, Joe was extremely accepting of us not following along with some of the more conventional wedding day things (no bouquet toss, no announcing the wedding party, our entrance titles). On the day of, I nominated Joe as "captain" of the wedding as I felt he was the glue to hold together our timeline - he felt like the one to trust and he delivered! He knew exactly when to be on the mic (not too often, like I asked) and when to let the party flow. His tech was flawless for our outdoor venue that took place in 3 separate spots on 3 acres. I'd hire him a million times over!
J&S Entertainment did a great job for our wedding. The key was Joe Bunovsky's professionalism. He was on time and worked well with me from our first conference call to the wedding ...
day. He kept the party going and dancing all night long. Even the kitchen staff were dancing. The reception hall said that it was the best wedding reception that they ever had and they have a lot of them and I feel Joe was a big part of that night's success. Joe was really easy to work with and allowed us to create a list of songs that we wanted and then used his music discretion to keep the party going. Also, he had a great sound system and we also used his microphone/speaker for an on the beach wedding ceremony which was great. I would definitely recommend hiring and would do that again in a heartbeat.

even those songs that I didn't want to hear. I could have even left it all up to J&S if I didn't want to be bothered.
I highly recommend J&S to anyone for any occasion.

5 hours straight thanks to his awesome work! We couldn't be happier with our choice and with the outcome of our big day!!!

ent, he was fantastic. He had so many great suggestions for how to make our reception run smoothly, and how to keep people on the dance floor! The music he played was perfect, and he knew exactly how to read the room to figure out what to play next. He was flexible and able to be mobile enough to play music and provide microphones for our on site ceremony, and background music for cocktail hour before transitioning under the tent to run the reception. He listened to all of our requests and needs and made sure we were happy. I highly recommend Joe for your DJ needs!
My husband and I planned our wedding in just two months at Foxwoods, and a couple of weeks out we were still at a loss to find a DJ with the ‘right fit’ we were looking for. We di...
dn’t want the over-the-top production type company who try to be the focus but wanted more than a solo person who plays good music. When we found Joe, we knew he was the right balance of the two. After checking out his website, we reached out and he did have our date open.
We set up a phone call to ‘meet’ and discuss what we had in mind, and Joe explained how he usually works. He made us feel comfortable and really understood what we had in mind, plus was able to steer us in directions that would really add to our day.
If we had to choose one word to describe Joe it would be thorough! From our initial phone call to an event profile form he had us complete, to several other check-in calls and emails before the wedding, he was able to cover every detail that we would need to consider.
We also went with one of his lighting packages for both the Ceremony room and the Reception. We were able to set up a time with our venue so he could meet with us and discuss where things could be set up, how many lights would be needed, and really got a feel of the space. Joe worked with us to find the right Gobo light logo design to be projected on the wall, and we added the ‘starry night’ projections. We were going for that ‘wow factor in the room’ and felt so comfortable with the choices.
The day of our wedding, Joe provided the mic’s and sound for our officiants and our readers. He also gave us an audio file of the Ceremony, as we were not having a videographer. This was SUCH a wonderful thing to have to remember the day.
Then the Reception began….. Our guests kept saying “OMG, the DJ was amazing, we had so much fun!” They were also raving at how beautifully lit the ceremony room was and honestly they were “wowed” at the reception too. It was our goal to have that “wow” moment and we got it!!
So we can’t thank Joe enough for all his work leading up to, and on our wedding day. He helped make it all that much more special for us and all of our guests.
So do yourself a favor and check out his website, and set up a time to talk with him to see how he can make your big day that much better.

ner Joe who was extremely accommodating. We made our decision that night and booked the next day. We're so glad we did! Joe was our DJ and did an amazing job with our ceremony and the dinner reception. Our guests danced all night long and two weeks later are still talking about how much fun they had. J&S was not the most or the least expensive of the DJ's we met with but the professionalism he showed and the comfort and trust we had in the company confirms that we made the best decision. I highly recommend J&S and DJ Joe."

We just had our wedding and he did an outstanding job. My feet are still killing me. My entire wedding danced the night away!!! He knew exactly had to read the crowd and keep them going!
He also did my ceremony and it was just perfect.
I cant thank him enough for making my wedding so much fun!!!

d dance floor from start to finish with Starry Night projection and Uplighting that changed and moved to the beat.
We had a small wedding (30 ppl) so I was worried no one would dance.
I didn't have to worry. Joe is a master at reading the crowd, bringing up the energy in the room, and Joe absolutely delivered on all of his promises = everyone will be dancing, the lights will look amazing and the songs you want played will be played. My bride and I had so much fun dancing with each other for 2 hours we almost forgot to dance with anyone else (we did of course).
The guests continued to rave about it the next day and even the manager of the location of our wedding said he had never seen such a party.
Best part - the price was very reasonable, the service was professional, and Joe was easy to work with and quite personable.
Best DJ ever. We (including the guests) are still talking about how we can come up with an occasion to have another celebration so we can kick it again with J&S Entertainment.
