When Jane was an art student, she saw a bride in a wedding dress for the first time in her life.
From that moment, she's developed a deep vision of helping brides create their dream wedding. Traveling back and forth from Korea and New York, she's studied hair and makeup, learning technique after technique. Fast forward to today, she found her own special beauty space: Jane Everwell Beauty Bar.
Jane has been consistently building her skills through countless events and weddings for the past 15 years, collaborating with many artists and continuously working on new concepts and styles to emphasize individual beauty. As she has accumulated experience over a long period of time, she is an artist who properly grasps the needs of all her clients and works tirelessly to find their own style by making effective conversations and understanding the final vision.
To this day, she has her heart set in creating the best moments for everyone's special day as well as their every day.

Myself, my bridesmaids, moms and flower girl has the best day thanks to Jane and her team. Beyond just incredible hair and makeup, the vibe, energy and service before, during, and after the wedding was amazing. Such positivity and fun in the morning getting ready at 5-6am for a 11a ceremony!
Thank you again, and can't wait to stop by the beauty bar for my next event and hair spa treatment!

Jane is a highly recommended makeup artist who specializes in K-beauty makeup and hair. I was looking for a natural and clean look for my wedding and she delivered, making sure my makeup and hair looked natural in-person while accentuated enough for the photos. She is reliable and an expert in the field that we went to her not only for our wedding but also all of our photoshoots like hanbok, studio, and engagement. Jane and her team also did a great job with makeup and hair on my husband, parents, siblings, and bridal party that everyone was so pleased and got a ton of compliments. Thank you Jane for making us look and feel great every step of the way!

Before meeting Jane, I had a horrible hair/makeup trial experience with another vendor. I was panicking because I thought I wouldn't find a hair/makeup stylist for the wedding.
Then, I got super lucky because I ended up finding Jane!
Her team was able to get me in for a last-minute makeup and hair trial. Jane spent three hours showing us three different hairstyles in addition to the makeup. The experience was wonderful, and she did such a good job! Her attention to detail is exquisite.
She makes her clients look natural and beautiful without caking them on with makeup.
During our wedding day, Jane and her team did our makeup/hair (also worked on several of our family members). Everyone looked beautiful, and the hair/makeup lasted all night (it was a very emotional day for us).

If you're getting married in New York/New Jersey, I absolutely recommend getting your hair and makeup done here. I found out about this place through a friend's recommendation, and they are incredibly professional. They matched the hair and makeup to the bride perfectly, making it look just right. If I ever need makeup services again after my wedding, I plan to come back to Jane Everwell Beauty Bar. The staff is super friendly and very skilled! I wholeheartedly recommend them. Five stars!

I just had my makeup trial with Jane and was SO impressed!!!! I was worried about someone else doing my makeup since I have asymmetric eyes and was having a lot of skin trouble that day. She worked on soothing my skin first, and then proceeded with my makeup. And when it comes to makeup, let me say she is truly an artist. She understood my features better than I understood myself, and I was seriously so impressed with the final look. She tried multiple hairstyles with ease and efficiency, and each style turned out perfect that I had trouble choosing.
I feel really lucky I was introduced to Jane Everwell through a family friend, who met her through a fashion show. She is actually very renowned in the Korean makeup community, she takes care of fashion shows, travels internationally, and was the makeup artist for a very famous Korean singer. Despite this, she and her assistant were very down to earth and I had a lot of fun with my trial makeup session.
I'm posting this because I would've never found her on my own through online searches, and I can't recommend her enough! I am so excited for my wedding day because she far exceeded my expectations and made me feel the most beautiful I've ever felt!

I found Jane Everwell Beauty Bar through Google searches. I was looking for an Asian makeup artist who did both hair and makeup near North Jersey. I have been a bridesmaid for over 8 weddings and my constant struggle was a makeup/hair artist who wasn’t familiar with my features. So either my curls fell and my hair went back to pin straight or my makeup didn’t match my features. I had researched and spoke to so many makeup artists and companies, but they were not to my style or way to expensive for what they were offering. When I got into contact with Jane, she suggested a face-to-face meeting. Which I was a bit nervous about, but when I arrived at her salon, I realized it was so we could better communicate and she could show me what she was offering. She maid me very comfortable and even asked about my skin and hair habits. She also asked for an overview of all my bridesmaids, which was also another requirement I needed. My bridesmaids were very diverse, especially with hair and skin tone, so I needed someone who was also familiar with curly hair. Jane had reassured me that with her 20+ years experience and her staffs’ abilities, there would be no problem. I had booked Jane Everwell about 2 years out from my wedding, however, we kept in contact over the 2 years for engagement shoot makeup and bridal trials. A schedule conflict did occur for my wedding day and Jane couldn’t be my main makeup artist, however, it was a blessing in disguise because that’s when I met Jess. Jess worked under Jane, but had also been in the business for over six years. Jess and I just clicked and she has such a talent for hair/makeup.
On the wedding day, I was going through a lot of stress, emotions, and I was sick. In addition it was snowing. Jess and the Jane Everwell Team really came through. Jane also joined a couple hours after start time. Jess really made my makeup shine through all my tears and sickness. I’m so grateful for her skills and how well all the other ladies (Sarah, Jessica, and Sarah) made all my best friends and moms look so beautiful. They are a well-oiled company and are all so talented. Everyone looked great and I was VERY happy with the overall look for my wedding. Also, being someone with an extremely oily face, my makeup STAYED put! I would absolutely reach out to Jane Everwell again for makeup and hair.
