Janeane is the sweetest!!! She photographed our wedding last year and we were blown away at what an amazing job she did! She was so patient and really cared about everything going right for us during a pandemic. Our wedding photos are the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen! She went above and beyond to create the most beautiful moments for us in her camera. There are hundreds of wonderful shots of our guest celebrating at the reception and she even got adorable photos of my grandparents (who never want to be in pictures)! We can’t thank her enough for the wonderful experience and memories! <3

Janeane was amazing. She was such a joy to work with and I would recommend her to everyone!! She is so kind and patient and our pictures turned out so beautiful I look at them almost everyday. If you’re looking for a photographer who will give you everything you want Janeane is the one to go to.

Seeing since our wedding was a year ago, I have been meaning to write this review for a long time. I was looking at the pictures again this past weekend and knew I had to spread the word of how great Janeane was! From the first encounter, Janeane was timely, considerate, and professional. Our budget was small and she was willing to work with me. I had sent her an email prior to the wedding with my requests and she was understanding and made sure to get it done! On the wedding day, she arrived before I even got there and was already taking pictures of the church, my dress and shoes. I got to the church late and had no clue what needed to happen. As soon as I got there she was so organized and took charge of where everyone needed to be for what pictures I wanted. Not only did she get a lot of the pictures before the wedding (so we didn't have to waist reception time), she was able to coordinate the guys, girls, and families so smoothly and without anyone seeing me before the actual wedding. During the entire wedding and reception, she was busy! Not once did I see her sit, eat, or break! She was truly 'there' for the entire thing! My husband and I went on our honeymoon immediately. While we were there, we were able to get online and see a sneak peak of our big day 3 days after!! The rest of the pictures came within a month or so. Incredibly fast... Especially for having almost 1200 pictures!!! The pictures... Couldn't have asked for better! She captured everything so perfectly and so artistically! Your wedding day is one of the biggest days of your life. I was so grateful to have Janeane Melton Photography there to capture the day so I can remember it for the rest of our lives! Can't thank her enough!

Janeane is the best ever! Not only did she work with our crazy schedules, but she is genuine and thoughtful and it definitely showed in our photos. She did our engagements, bridal portraits, and covered our wedding! She took beautiful artistic shots! She was able to capture sweet moments as well as our fun moments. She was a joy to work with and I can't wait for another event to use her services again! I would recommend her to any and all brides!

We love Janeane! She is wonderful, and she did a wonderful job with our wedding photography! She's easy going and easy to work with. Our photos were delivered super quickly (a little over 3 week turnaround I think) and they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We are so happy we hired Janeane Marie Photography! Janeane Marie is brilliant! She photographed our wedding in August and we are blown away by her and her skills! Janeane came highly recommended by a friend who also used her for her wedding. I loved her work and her prices were very reasonable! After meeting, I knew she was the photographer I had hoped to find. She's very friendly and easy going. She prepared me for each step of the process and made everything so simple! I didn't have to worry about her or photos at all. She even stay late because our party ran a little longer than expected. We of course payed her for the extra hour, but we appreciated her willingness to stay! We just received our wedding album and its perfect! We can't thank her enough for the great memories.

Having a good photographer was one of the most important things to us for our wedding. We searched high and low, meeting with more potential photographers than anyone should. What we realized is that unlike other vendors, it is vital that you not only love the product they provide but also that you love their personality since you will be spending so much time together and want to look comfortable/natural in front of the camera. We finally found the perfect combination of great photography and a great person in Janeane Melton of Janeane Marie Photography. From the beginning, Janeane was easy to talk to and we loved her classic, natural style of photography. She was also so accommodating throughout the time we worked with her. She offered to meet in a location that was convenient for us and she was very open to our ideas. Her prices were also very reasonable (we got engagement photos, bridal photos, 8 hours of wedding day coverage with two photographers, edited high res photos with printing rights, and an album). For my bridal portraits, I really wanted pictures in the bluebonnets. Janeane drove all around Austin with us searching for the perfect bluebonnet field – I know that not every photographer would have been willing to do that, and the pictures turned out amazing. We also took engagement photos. We went to a few different places; it was a really fun day which came through in the photos. Our wedding day flew by but we were so thankful that Janeane was able to capture so many special parts of it. She captured all of the details that made our day unique (moments getting ready, our huppah quilt, special dances, both posed and candid moments, feelings right after the ceremony, and even an adventure climbing up in the bell tower). We love the pictures during the ceremony (which really should be the focus of a wedding). Our pictures make us feel the happiness of that day all over again each time we look at them. Janeane is calm, laid back, responsive (especially quick over phone and text), and fun to be with. Make sure you tell Janeane if there are special pictures you want and she will do her best to make them happen. She has a good eye for angles and locations that will work well in her pictures. She sticks to classic, simple, beautiful pictures. We know that these are the kinds of pictures we will still want to look at over and over years from now.

We loved Janeane! She is such a gifted young lady! Everyone loves our wedding photos! I can't say enough good things about her. She's sweet, fun, flexible, her work is stunning! She was open to all of our requests and she did an amazing job! We were so excited when we saw our wedding party and family photos. The beautiful ways she photographed the reception room and all the little details was so pretty! Love love love!!! From the moment I received her friendly reply email, she made me feel like our wedding was important to her. That meant a lot to me! She invited me to meet for coffee/tea to get to know me and hear about our special day. It was really nice and fun. It made me feel so comfortable with my decision. She was great with sending all the info I needed and answering my questions. She was very professional in the way she worked and the way she dressed for our wedding. I can't think of anything negative to say. We are very grateful to have had her as our photographer!!!

Janeane takes beautiful photos, but is extremely hard to work with. I purchased 8 hours of wedding day coverage for my wedding. It was the largest amount of hours on any of Janeane's packages. I reiterated to Janeane multiples times that if we needed to add on hours or a photographer that it wouldn't be a problem and we would take care of payment when needed. Janeane showed up to the house that I was getting ready at to take photos. She showed up and only took about 5 photos and left because she had thought my wedding dress, shoes, etc. would be at that house. I was not informed by Janeane that they needed to be there. So she went on to the venue to take before pictures. My wedding was delayed about 30-40 minutes because of the rain. So I assumed Janeane would have stayed as well since the wedding was delayed. Janeane did not stay; she left as soon as her 8 hours were up. This still bothers me to this day. A wedding is one of the most important days of a couples lives and she couldn't stay to take photos of us leaving. Not only was I upset about this but so were my husband and the wedding planner. After the ceremony it started to rain again so as soon as the rain let up we started taking photos. Janeane was not prepared. She had to continuously stop after photos and check her phone to see what I emailed her I wanted photos of. I had to take over the situation or we would have never made it to the reception. What this all comes down to is professionalism and unfortunately Janeane lacks that. It has been four months since my wedding and I am just now getting the one and only photo I requested from her. Janeane does not reply to emails in a timely manner, the only way to get ahold of her is through texting. I am only writing this review because I do not want any bride/groom to be as disappointed as I was and still am about the way the photography was handled at my wedding. I hope this helps brides when it’s time for their special day.

Janeane is great, and she took beautiful photos of my wedding. For an extra fee she brought a second photographer to help capture all the moments. I highly recommend this photographer!

My beautiful new wife took care of most of the wedding planning. She researched and chose all the vendors, and she did most of the communicating with Janeane leading up to our day. Kudos to my wife for a great choice in photographer! We are both SOO happy with our wedding photos! I also LOVED the boudoir pics she did of my wife as a surprise for me!! Janeane is very kind, professional, and just seems like she could be your friend. I didn't even mind the picture taking process because she made it enjoyable. She even made me look like a gentleman. (Not an easy task, trust me.) We were both very impressed with her job well done! We will be passing her name along to friends and family!

When we started planning our wedding the only thing I cared about was the photographer. I wanted nice photos of everything (Us, details, friends and fam). I met with a few photographers and the second I met Janeane I knew she would be the one we choose. Her work is absolutely amazing! I have looked at our wedding album a hundred times and each time, I am still so joyed! Janeane is very talented, down to earth and sweet. I didn't have to worry about a thing because I felt like I could trust her. She really works hard to do a great job for her client!! We love her!! She's really the best!! :)

The pictures were absolutely amazing! Since it was a December wedding, we were worried how the outdoor pictures would turn out. We loved them, they were fabulous. Captured some great moments to treasure forever.

You have definitely been the easiest vendor we have worked with by far. Your professional yet relaxed personality has made at least this part of the planning very smooth and fun for me and my daughter. I look forward to seeing you again in a few months for the big day. I couldn't have picked a better photographer! Janeane Marie photography did a fabulous job on my engagements, bridal, and wedding photos! Janeane is awesome at making you feel comfortable and actually enjoy the photo session. So many of my guests were blown away by our photos, Janeane really out did herself! Any questions I had leading up to the wedding were answered and the pictures were edited and sent to me in a quick manner. The day of my bridal portraits was an absolutely crazy day. By the time I arrived at the bridal portraits venue I was late, crying, and just devastated that my day had turned out the way it did. But, Janean was able to brighten my day almost immeidately. She was sweet and patient and made me feel so beautiful the entire time. My bridal portraits ended up being a wonderful memory that I will always cherish because Janean was able to make me feel so at ease. And the pictures turned out beautifully as well!! I would definitely recommend Janean to future brides!! And everyone at the wedding kept commenting on how beautiful the bridal portraits were!

Not only is Janeane an outstanding photographer, she is an outstanding person! She cares about her work and more importantly, she cares about people. We came across Janeane's website and fell in love with the natural style and richness of her photography. As soon as we met with Janeane, we knew we wanted her as our wedding photographer. We didn't know much about weddings and the planning process, but she was very friendly and helpful. She photographed our wedding on Oct. 15th. and We received our gorgeous photos soon after. We were amazed at how beautiful she made everything and everyone look. She got so many great pictures of the decor, friends and family laughing, kisses and fun dancing shots too! We will cherish them forever!

Janeane just did the photography for my wedding on July 27th, 2013. She did a great job! Her prices are very reasonable and my pictures turned out awesome! She is very prompt and is quick to respond to e-mails, texts and phone calls. She is also very quick about getting pictures back to you! She did my bridal portraits as well and I love them! I cannot believe all of the great photos she got at our reception! I am so glad I chose her for our wedding and bridal pictures! She is great!

Janeane has done not only my Engagment and Wedding photos, but I have also had her take some of my son and I shortly after he was born! She has amazing talent, a creative mind, and really does have a sense of feeling out her clients style. I would describe my overall experience as fun filled and completely comfortable!
