sneak peak photos a few weeks ago, this has been the easiest and most seamless process. Janelle is so so so sweet, personable, funny & easy to work with. Amy is so organized and made sure we stayed on track, sent reminder emails & made sure we got all the photographs we wanted. On the day her supporting photographers were also amazing (special shout out to Kevin!). Now this is not even talking about the AMAZING quality of work they produce. Saying I'm obsessed with our photographs is a complete understatement. STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING & HIRE THEM IMMEDIATELY.

fter receiving a prompt and incredibly warm response from our inquiry to Janelle, we booked a Zoom call to get to know a little bit more about each other and also perused Janelle’s website and Instagram (did I mention how insanely talented she is?) Her pictures simply took my breath away. They were EXACTLY the kind of photos we were both looking for out of our vision for the day; romantic, authentic, classic, not overly edited, a wonderful balance between posed and candid. We knew right off the bat she was going to be the one for us. After we Zoomed with Amy, it was even more of a lock-in. We booked literally five minutes after our phone call ended and the rest, as they say, is history. Throughout the last year and a half, Janelle has become not just our wedding photographer but a trusted confidant for all things wedding, a shoulder to lean on and a forever friend. That goes for Amy, too. No question has ever been too silly, no idea out of place. From the moment we met Janelle, she just made us feel SO comfortable (and surprisingly, posing for wedding photos with your soon to be spouse is not always the most natural thing). She has an eye for the beauty in simple moments but also knows how to to capture the dreamiest scenes. Each and every single person that saw our engagement photos told me “I have NEVER seen photos like that before!” We already knew that Janelle would have our backs, but especially on our wedding day, Janelle was the most calm and centered presence for me and was able to read my mind with just a look at her about what worked and what wasn’t working. But that is what you can expect from working with someone like Janelle- she understands you and makes dreams, truly come true. Because seeing even just our highlight photos this weekend was an experience I will never forget. They were beyond my wildest dreams and I will truly treasure them forever. What I will treasure more, though, is the memories we have of working with Janelle and her team, including Mary, our second shooter of the day, who was able to wrangle all of the groomsmen together and keep them excited and organized, and who also was capturing each and every single detail so beautifully; and Kevin, who was a very much welcome third-shooter who was our personal hype man throughout the entire day, as he was genuinely excited to be with us and was truly up for anything. Literally, the entire team went along with my crazy plea to go outside despite the fact that it was pouring the entire day, but there was a 10 minute block of sun that we chased and thank goodness we did. They also agreed to photograph us in the rain at the end of the night and those pictures, too, are just magical. This review could truly go on forever about how much we love Janelle and her team. If you are lucky enough to be able to book Janelle for your wedding day (or any life event), I promise that it will be the best decision you will make throughout your event planning. Full Stop. She went above and beyond and contacted the venue for us to set up the ceremony differently than usual (having the staircase as a focal point rather than facing a curtain). The ceremony setup was SO beautiful and I was so thankful she thought to point out the alternate setup because I probably would not have thought to with everything going on that day! Throughout the process she has been so kind and really took the time to get to know us. From our engagement shoot where she wanted to get us comfortable behind the camera, to checking in throughout the planning process, and meeting in person prior to the wedding to go through different shot options, she really covers it all. Our wedding was on 11.25.22 and within a few days she already had some teasers for us to view! They are absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to see the rest of our photos! Her assistant Mary was also fantastic and went out of her way to bring some additional details (clown noses for the flower girls/ring bearer) to help ham it up!

wedding planner. When the world was basically ending and I was having an emotional breakdown she'd call just to check in on us and reassure us that no matter what she'd be there to document our day. On the actual day of our little ceremony she stayed for 6 hours just to make sure everything ran smoothly. I'm so happy we have those beautiful photos to remember our special day even though it wasn't the big wedding we had planned. This year we finally had our big reception, she came with her second photographer. They really did such a fantastic job of keeping everyone to the timeline and getting all of the pictures we had discussed we wanted ahead of time. During the cocktail hour I was so hesitant to take photos, I wanted to enjoy the party but she coaxed us outside and now we have the best photos and we're so so happy with the results! We even got to enjoy cocktail hour for a little bit. During the actual reception they were like flies on the wall, I barely noticed them as they took a bunch of wonderful candid photos. Janelle and her team are incredibly professional, give STUNNING results, and were absolutely a solid investment in our wedding. I would 100% book them again if I had to do it all over again, I also recommend her to all of my friends getting engaged.

Beth is amazingly talented and created such a comfortable, easy environment from the get-go (coming from two camera shy people!) and they helped plan some of our favorite moments from the day including our first look. The photos are stunning and we are obsessed with our beautiful album which they helped us put together with a number of 1:1 walk-throughs and editing sessions to make sure the final product was perfect for us. She made sure to capture all of the moments we envisioned but also surprised us with so many impromptu photographs, which are some of our most cherished. Initially, when we were meeting with photographers Janelle stood out because of her kindness. She listened to all of my concerns. She emphasized with my worries and made me feel at ease. My husband and I always discuss how lucky we are to be working with Janelle, and COVID has only emphasized that feeling.

er 8 years together it was important for us to get married on July 25, 2020 no matter what! After sharing this news with Janelle she was eager and excited to be there for us on our special day! Her calming and upbeat presence really made the day go smoothly and the pictures were effortless. Through her lens, she turned my parents backyard into a wedding venue! I grew so close to her and had so much fun meeting with her and having our engagement shoot! By the time of our wedding we considered her a friend! From the first time we met at our engagement shoot we just felt an instant connection to her. Inside was a beautiful local bottle of Woelffer Estate wine and some baked treats from a fabulous local bakery. Additionally we had the pleasure of having Molly as our second photographer, together she and Terrie were there to make our day as seamless and stress free as possible and they certainly did! d, they would be the first ones we called. We loved their pictures. Simple gorgeous. The day came and we quickly hired JBP. Terrie was our main photographer and she did an unbelievable job!!!! She made the bride and groom feel comfortable from the first day they met her through the engagement shoot and finally the wedding day. The photos are gorgeous!!!! Terrie is a very warm, professional, loving and talented artist. She makes you feel part of her family. Also, their response time is so quick. Erica would answer all of our questions (like recommending other types of vendors to sending additional pictures of venues we were considering) the same day we made a request. Terrie even made adjustments to a picture in record time for the New York Times announcements. We absolutely loved working with them and will sadly miss them!!! --- There is however always the next wedding!!!

On the administrative side, Janelle and JBP's office manager, Erica, were delightful and responsive throughout the planning process. On the day of, it felt like we had known Janelle and her business partner, Terrie, forever, and they truly went above and beyond to document our day. When our photo preview arrived, I literally cried with happiness, and I was positively over the moon once our full photo suite was available. From posed family photos to candid shots, I was blown away by how many beautiful moments that the JBP team caught on film.
