When we first spoke to Janelle by phone, she told us that her goal is to capture authentic moments throughout the day. Looking at our photos almost three months later brings us back to that day every time. The first comment almost everyone has made upon seeing our photos has been, "Wow. You can truly see how happy you were". Janelle captured our day so earnestly and joyfully. We are so grateful she was a part of our day!

She directed our wedding party around for portraits with ease and everyone was so impressed with how organized it was. We got so many compliments that day of how detailed and great she was to work with by the venue and other vendors. When planning our wedding, finding a good photographer was so important to me and we definitely made the right decision by going with Janelle. Our pictures came out better than we could have imagined and we will truly cherish them for a lifetime. They were so perfect, one made it on the cover of our venue brochure! We cant thank Janelle enough!!

re are a number of things to take into consideration before you decide on your wedding day photographer match. You need to understand just how close this person will be to you on your wedding day. They will be there for each of your most intimate moments - capturing a close look at each emotion of the day. This said, you should be comfortable with this person. From the moment Janelle arrived with a smile, she brought a happy & calming energy to the room. She was a friend among the group, effortlessly moving around without causing anyone a second thought. While nervously trying to articulate a last minute change to my hair, she was standing next to me with a bit more clarity to her words and offering assurance that was completely unnecessary given her tasks at hand, yet so appreciated in the moment. She somehow was able to get smiles and confidence out of my mother who has been running from camera lenses for 3+ decades now. She had my father posing as easily as a 20 year old on Snapchat. Grandmas, in-laws, groomsmen who never shed a smile - everyone was completely naturally at ease with Janelle. Janelle's role on our wedding day was appreciated for far more reasons than personalities that clicked. Your photographer's role will trickle past simply snapping pictures. You will be looking to them for guidance, instructions & time management. Janelle was incredibly professional, experienced and the type of person you want to put your trust in for such an important day. Some people out there may hire a Wedding Planner, I did not and most of my friends have not. I relied on my bridal party & my own personal planning to keep the day on track. Of course, no wedding day schedule ends up perfect. We ran late, had the entire bridal party break down on a bus about 30 minutes from the venue, 5 minutes before the ceremony was set to start. Janelle was working against time with the pictures she had to get done per my wish list. She had 8 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 3 set of parents, 3 locations to coordinate and probably 40 minutes cut out of her schedule. And yet somehow, she made it work & got it done. She corralled the crazy group of people (no easy feat) and everyone happily listened & followed instruction (at least I choose to believe they did.) Once past the battle of herding your party who are constantly in conversation, with cocktails in hand, to get you what you asked for: the reception begins. By this point, you are going to be far too wrapped up in your amazing day to realize you still have things to get done. Janelle prompted everything we had on the schedule. Cake cutting, extra photos etc. The photographer has an allotted amount of time that they will be with you on your wedding day - so you don't want any surprises when you turn around and no longer see them. Janelle was very clear in communicating with me when needed, ensuring that I was aware of the time remaining available for any photos that I wanted. In an effort to not make this review a novel, I will end by saying the final product was delivered timely and were better than we could have imagined. We are so ridiculously in love with the final product. I would hire her again in a heartbeat as her talent is clear and her dream of a personality is the added bonus.
