ts best on my wedding day - and it really did! I can't wait to continue to go to Janelle for facials and have her do my makeup for future events!
I would give Janelle Lynn Artistry 5 out of 5 stars.

The entire process was seamless. She provided an easy-to-use client portal where I could communicate with her, upload inspiration photos, and review everything in one place. As the wedding approached, she checked in well in advance to make sure I knew exactly what to expect on the wedding day, both for myself and for the members of my bridal party receiving services. Her communication was prompt, clear, and professional throughout the entire process.
What impressed me most was her skill, flexibility, and attention to detail. I have had disappointing experiences with makeup artists in the past, so I was admittedly nervous going into the trial and wedding day. Janelle completely exceeded my expectations. She worked beautifully with a variety of skin tones, skin types, and textures among my bridal party, and everyone looked like the best version of themselves while still feeling comfortable and confident.
She was also incredibly thoughtful and accommodating when it came to members of our family who had additional sensitivities. My mother and mother-in-law were both hesitant about professional makeup because they are not accustomed to wearing heavy makeup or false lashes. My mother, in particular, has an autoimmune condition that makes her eyes especially sensitive, and she often experiences irritation from products worn around the eyes. Janelle listened carefully to their concerns, adjusted her approach to meet their comfort levels, and made the entire experience feel easygoing, stress-free, and fun. Neither of them felt pressured to wear anything they were uncomfortable with, and both looked absolutely beautiful while still feeling like themselves.
Going into the process, I thought I wanted a very full-glam bridal look. Janelle listened carefully to my vision, made thoughtful recommendations, and ultimately created exactly what I needed for the day. The final result photographed beautifully, lasted throughout the wedding, and made me feel confident without feeling overdone.
Beyond her technical talent, Janelle has a calming and professional presence that is invaluable on a wedding day. She helped make the morning feel smooth, organized, and stress-free, which is something every bride hopes for.
If you are looking for a makeup artist who is talented, reliable, communicative, and genuinely passionate about her work, I cannot recommend Janelle Lynn Artistry enough. She was easily one of my favorite wedding vendors, and I would gladly book her again for future events.

t. My bridesmaids all were raving about how they looked all night! Janelle did a wonderful job with accommodating everyone’s unique styles and requests as well. I felt beautiful on my wedding day and that’s really all I could ever ask for! Highly recommend for any bride looking for a talented makeup artist.
Thanks again, Janelle!!!
Working with Janelle was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding day. She is incredibly talented, professional, and thoughtful in her approach. During our trial, she took ...
the time to understand exactly what I was hoping for and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way.
What stood out most was how natural and true-to-me the final look felt. She enhanced my favorite features without making anything feel overdone or dramatic. When I look back at our wedding photos, I see myself, just glowing and confident. That was exactly what I wanted.
She also took wonderful care of my bridesmaids and even helped my husband with a quick touch-up, which we truly appreciated. Her calming energy and expertise made the morning of the wedding feel smooth and enjoyable. I would recommend Janelle to any bride looking for elevated, natural bridal makeup.
All I can say is Thank Goodness I found Janelle for my wedding! I did a trial with someone else before connecting with Janelle, and she is just on a different level. I was so af...
raid to go full glam and not look like myself, but she just knows how to enhance your features and make you the most beautiful version of yourself. We decided to scale back just a tad and make some tweaks the day of my wedding, and she nailed it. She is pleasant, professional, and so talented. The morning of my wedding, we had a bit of an issue about where she was supposed to be stationed at my venue, and she handled it like a champ. Through tears, sweat, and a very long day, but makeup didn't budge. I would 100% recommend Janelle to anyone.

I cannot say enough great things about Janelle. I was looking for a MUA that could make me feel like my best self on my wedding day and Janelle did just that. From our first phone ...
call, I could tell how down to earth she was and I felt like we clicked right away. She asked me what my goals were, asked about my skin, and what my vision was. I even got a facial from her before my wedding and it was heaven. I loved my makeup after my trial but my wedding day was a whole step up! We talked about how my makeup lasted after my trial and what things I wanted to change, and she listened and made me feel so beautiful. My makeup lasted all night long and through the after party too, I literally did not want to take it off. Janelle is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone no matter what your makeup goals are!

Choosing Janelle for my wedding day was the best decision! After reaching out, Janelle scheduled a phone call with me and was incredibly friendly and helpful in chatting through my...
vision, as well as some of the details/timeline. She answered all of my questions, as one of my biggest concerns for my wedding make-up was figuring out how to look wedding glam but natural at the same time!
Both my mom and I scheduled a trial with Janelle and provided photos of the looks we were going for and Janelle matched this perfectly! Janelle encouraged us to wear the make-up for the remainder of the day in order to decide if it truly perfect or if any tweaks were needed. After our hair trial that afternoon (I totally recommend doing your hair and make-up trial the same day in order to see the full look) my mom had a few tweaks she wanted to make to her foundation, and I decided that the look was so natural and "me" that it didn't feel like that special wedding day glam. But this is exactly what trials are for!
After coming to this realization, Janelle was very responsive and helpful, as I chatted through my ideas and sent additional photos! Our new revamped look for the wedding ended up being absolutely perfect! The day of the wedding she executed all of the ideas we chatted about flawlessly! I was THRILLED with my wedding day look and would not have changed a single thing!
Janelle and her assistant were so fantastic the day of our wedding as well! They were easy to chat with and helped create such a fun and stress free getting ready experience! Everyone was so happy with their make-up and the team ensured to check with everyone for any last-minute touch-ups!
I would certainly recommend Janelle Lynn Makeup and Aesthetics to any bride in the area!

on a daily basis & Janelle knew just what to do! She sent me a Wedding Prep Guide and Timeline a few weeks prior to the wedding and it was just what I needed to ease my nerves! It even included the pictures from the bridal trial so that we were both on the same page on wedding day. Hire Janelle for all of your makeup needs!

and what would and wouldn't look good on me. I don't tend to wear a lot of makeup usually, so I was nervous about having mine done. Janelle made me feel so much better! After the trial, she was responsive to messages when I saw other work she had done and wanted to tweak my wedding day look. On the actual day, she knocked it out of the park! She gave me the perfect natural glam look. I still felt and looked like myself which was so important to me. My bridesmaids were all extremely happy with their makeup as well! Thank you, Janelle!

All of my girls and my mom said how much they loved their looks... and we had a sweltering hot day for my wedding, and my makeup didn't budge!! Everyone looked almost exactly the same as when they first got their makeup done that morning. Janelle helped make our day perfect, and I'd recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you sooo much Janelle, you are a makeup master! <3

There were a few things I wanted to tweak after the trial and Janelle was extremely supportive and made my second vision come true. Truly, my wedding makeup was EVERYTHING I dreamed of and more. Janelle perfected the look. Now I need to find another reason to get my makeup done. Thanks Janelle!!!

Janelle is truly an artist. What we loved most about her is that 1) she treats each face as a unique canvas, 2) she specializes in helping brides prep their skin for the big day (w...
hich was a perk I was not seeing with other vendor options), and 3) she seeks to bring out your natural beauty. And she most certainly did! Every single person in the wedding party (including myself, the bride) was incredibly pleased with her work. My mom especially could not stop gushing at how beautiful she felt (which is a big thing for her!). Amidst all the chaos, Janelle was so professional and patient with us. She had quite a few women to tackle in a short period of time and she handled it so well. I am incredibly happy with my choice to hire her this past Sept. I definitely recommend you seek no further, she's who you need 🙂 You will be so well cared for. She is worth every penny (and more)!!

as so easy going and truly cared about your opinion, always asking if you wanted this or that. Once the trial was over Janelle allowed me to tell her what I loved and what I wanted to change for wedding day. She was so flexible! On wedding day Janelle came early to set up and kept the flow of the day going. She took her time on each of my bridesmaids and incorporated the smallest wedding details in each and every one of them. Can you say WOW? I truly cannot recommend Janelle enough to do your makeup. She is a caring and dedicated woman who will truly bring your makeup picture to life!

rial and i got so many compliments from all my friends and family. I was super nervous for my big day but knowing she was going to make me feel beautiful made it easier. I was super excited to work with her on my big day! Unfortunately due to Covid I was not able to have Janelle for the wedding and that was very upsetting. Thankfully Janelle was able to find a replacement in her spot very quickly and it didn’t cost me a dime! It was handled professionally, I didn’t have to do anything which made my life easier with what was going on. I can’t tell you how much I wished Janelle was there on my big day but I will tell anyone they won’t be disappointed and will not regret having Janelle work with them on their special day.

sion comes to life. She was sure to ask me what I liked and didn't like and really listened to what I was envisioning. She is a true artist and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I am a crier and I cried ALOT on my wedding day, but my makeup stayed all day. The number one compliment I got throughout the day was about my makeup and how beautifully it maintained throughout the entire day. The products were safe and clean (good for my skin!) and she was sure to sanitize everything before and after. Janelle showed up early the day of my wedding and moved through her process in a timely manner, she even took on doing my mom's and sister's eyelashes last minute! She packed me a little touch up kit which definitely came in handy and was such a nice touch! From the initial contact all the way through the wedding and even after Janelle was quick to respond and answer any questions I had. She took detailed notes during my trial and was so prepared the day of the wedding. She even reached out after to make sure everything went okay. I am so grateful for Janelle. She is a phenomenal makeup artist who really makes you feel beautiful!! Thank you Janelle!!

ry fun. I appreciated her willingness to come to the hair salon and do our makeup there. I enjoyed being able to do a trial run before the big day to get an idea of how it would look. She encouraged me to try false lashes, which I'd never worn, and they looked so nice and were so light. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis and was worried that I would accidentally touch my face too much and smudge things, but she had a really nice setting spray that made the look last for the entire day, and it stayed as beautiful as when she first put it on. I definitely recommend her to anyone who wants really quality work at a very affordable rate.

t. Janelle makes you feel comfortable. She's a professional but engages how a friend would; she's friendly and open making conversation easy and helping to make sure we're all laughing while getting ready. But when it's time to not move your face, she'll gently let you know. My eyes are very sensitive and water easily and Janelle was very patient with that. We had some difficulty getting the false lashes to stick during my trial but Janelle adjusted what she needed to in order to get them to work for wedding day. I never wear makeup and so I wanted a natural look and I got exactly what I was looking for. Gentle enhancements and covering of my dark circles kept me looking like me while making my eyes pop and skin look smooth and clean. Janelle even covered a cat scratch on my wrist for me. If you're looking to get your make-up done and want to feel like it's just you and your friends, choose Janelle. If you want your make-up done and want it to last and look phenomenal (weather you do natural, natural glam like my bridesmaid, or something else) choose Janelle.

mmunicating, budget friendly and exceeded all expectations. I was running around and a dancing fool sweating, but my makeup remained perfect the entire event for over 12hours. Nelle I can't thank you enough for the role you played in the wedding. We all felt like a million bucks due to your amazing talent!!!
Janelle did my makeup for my wedding, and what she created was a masterpiece! It's hard to fit in one review all that I love about her services! My package included a makeup trial,...
makeup the day of the event, and a free Mary Kay product as a gift at the end of it all.
For our trial run, Janelle reviewed all the pictures I sent her beforehand which depicted what I wanted, and she listened intently when I explained to her what I was going for. Then she created a look that both looked stunning and worked with my natural features, and she was able to get me out the door in time to make my next appointment.
On the day of the wedding, Janelle traveled to my wedding venue (so convenient!!) and arrived early; she was ready to begin as soon as the bridal party arrived. In a little over an hour, she had recreated the work of art she'd put together at the trial, and then she created beautiful looks for both my mom and my sister. She even stuck around to take a few pictures as my family and flower girls arrived.
I just love love LOVE that Janelle works with a woman's naturally attractive features when creating her looks. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally, so I was worried that I would feel like my look was fake or plastic-looking, even if everyone else thought it was beautiful. But Janelle's artistic touch highlights what is already beautiful in a woman's face, and for the bride, and even though I was used to seeing myself without makeup, I felt the look she created was gorgeous without looking overly dramatic.
Beyond her professional gifts, Janelle is just an all-around sweet and personable person. She truly cares about what you want to get from your day, no matter what the occasion. She made me feel comfortable with the process, telling me what she was doing as she did it, and indicating some of her thought process as she made selections in colors and tints. And perhaps most comforting, she really enjoys what she does, which makes me enjoy the process as well.
I can't say enough good things about Janelle's services! She played a huge part in making my wedding day a fairy tale dream come true! Thanks Janelle!
