I even got a facial from her before my wedding and it was heaven. I loved my makeup after my trial but my wedding day was a whole step up! We talked about how my makeup lasted after my trial and what things I wanted to change, and she listened and made me feel so beautiful. My makeup lasted all night long and through the after party too, I literally did not want to take it off. Both my mom and I scheduled a trial with Janelle and provided photos of the looks we were going for and Janelle matched this perfectly! Janelle encouraged us to wear the make-up for the remainder of the day in order to decide if it truly perfect or if any tweaks were needed. After our hair trial that afternoon (I totally recommend doing your hair and make-up trial the same day in order to see the full look) my mom had a few tweaks she wanted to make to her foundation, and I decided that the look was so natural and "me" that it didn't feel like that special wedding day glam. But this is exactly what trials are for! After coming to this realization, Janelle was very responsive and helpful, as I chatted through my ideas and sent additional photos! Our new revamped look for the wedding ended up being absolutely perfect! The day of the wedding she executed all of the ideas we chatted about flawlessly! I was THRILLED with my wedding day look and would not have changed a single thing! Janelle and her assistant were so fantastic the day of our wedding as well! They were easy to chat with and helped create such a fun and stress free getting ready experience! Everyone was so happy with their make-up and the team ensured to check with everyone for any last-minute touch-ups! I was super excited to work with her on my big day! Unfortunately due to Covid I was not able to have Janelle for the wedding and that was very upsetting. I am a crier and I cried ALOT on my wedding day, but my makeup stayed all day. The number one compliment I got throughout the day was about my makeup and how beautifully it maintained throughout the entire day. The products were safe and clean (good for my skin!) and she was sure to sanitize everything before and after. Janelle showed up early the day of my wedding and moved through her process in a timely manner, she even took on doing my mom's and sister's eyelashes last minute! She packed me a little touch up kit which definitely came in handy and was such a nice touch! From the initial contact all the way through the wedding and even after Janelle was quick to respond and answer any questions I had. She took detailed notes during my trial and was so prepared the day of the wedding. She even reached out after to make sure everything went okay. I am so grateful for Janelle. ry fun. I appreciated her willingness to come to the hair salon and do our makeup there. I enjoyed being able to do a trial run before the big day to get an idea of how it would look. She encouraged me to try false lashes, which I'd never worn, and they looked so nice and were so light. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis and was worried that I would accidentally touch my face too much and smudge things, but she had a really nice setting spray that made the look last for the entire day, and it stayed as beautiful as when she first put it on. I definitely recommend her to anyone who wants really quality work at a very affordable rate.

She's a professional but engages how a friend would; she's friendly and open making conversation easy and helping to make sure we're all laughing while getting ready. But when it's time to not move your face, she'll gently let you know. My eyes are very sensitive and water easily and Janelle was very patient with that. We had some difficulty getting the false lashes to stick during my trial but Janelle adjusted what she needed to in order to get them to work for wedding day. I never wear makeup and so I wanted a natural look and I got exactly what I was looking for. Gentle enhancements and covering of my dark circles kept me looking like me while making my eyes pop and skin look smooth and clean. Janelle even covered a cat scratch on my wrist for me. If you're looking to get your make-up done and want to feel like it's just you and your friends, choose Janelle. If you want your make-up done and want it to last and look phenomenal (weather you do natural, natural glam like my bridesmaid, or something else) choose Janelle.

For our trial run, Janelle reviewed all the pictures I sent her beforehand which depicted what I wanted, and she listened intently when I explained to her what I was going for. Then she created a look that both looked stunning and worked with my natural features, and she was able to get me out the door in time to make my next appointment. On the day of the wedding, Janelle traveled to my wedding venue (so convenient!!) and arrived early; she was ready to begin as soon as the bridal party arrived. In a little over an hour, she had recreated the work of art she'd put together at the trial, and then she created beautiful looks for both my mom and my sister. She even stuck around to take a few pictures as my family and flower girls arrived. I just love love LOVE that Janelle works with a woman's naturally attractive features when creating her looks. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally, so I was worried that I would feel like my look was fake or plastic-looking, even if everyone else thought it was beautiful. But Janelle's artistic touch highlights what is already beautiful in a woman's face, and for the bride, and even though I was used to seeing myself without makeup, I felt the look she created was gorgeous without looking overly dramatic. Beyond her professional gifts, Janelle is just an all-around sweet and personable person. She truly cares about what you want to get from your day, no matter what the occasion. She made me feel comfortable with the process, telling me what she was doing as she did it, and indicating some of her thought process as she made selections in colors and tints. And perhaps most comforting, she really enjoys what she does, which makes me enjoy the process as well. I can't say enough good things about Janelle's services! She played a huge part in making my wedding day a fairy tale dream come true! Thanks Janelle!
