oices you have to make when planning a wedding, I wouldn't hesitate for a second on booking Janesa! I consider myself a make-up aficionado so had high standards and she surpassed them. Was a great idea to book a make-up trail so we could get to know each other and walk through what kind of look I wanted (glowy natural exotic goddess, yes!), which ended up being especially important because I didn't expect I would be so distracted/stressed the day of the wedding. Janesa was a calming presence and energy on top of being a fantastic make-up artist; even came ready with aromatherapy, that's legit calming! She also did AMAZING make-up for both mom's who never usually wear make-up. I've never seen my mom look and feel so fantastic, makes me SO happy Janesa brought out her beauty! And delighted both my sisters with their gorgeous looks, and even went out of her way to squeeze one sister in last minute (you try to plan, right?!). Everyone looked amazing and we all received so many compliments the day of on how beautifully naturally glowy we all looked and not overdone. Can't say enough good things about Janesa!! This is the easiest decision you'll have to make.

My sister (MOH) and I are very picky about our make up and wear a full face of make up daily. Janesa really does stand by her motto "you but better." I was in love with the way my make up turned out. My skin looked flawless and all my photos turned out so beautiful. Janesa has a wonderful personality to work with. She made me feel so comfortable the day of the wedding, made sure I was happy, and had fun with us. All of my bridesmaids, MOB, MOG loved their make up. I wish Janesa lived closer so I could use her for other events!

Not only did she take the time to talk to me about what I wanted, she incorporated it with what she thought would look great, and she did it all with a friendliness and patience. I don't usually do makeup but I wanted something special and to look like myself. Janesa nailed it. She not only has an innate skill for makeup and beautifying people, but she is also graced with professionalism and brings humor and kindness into her work. Her gentle and bubbly spirit was calming, provided a fun environment for the day, and her makeup skills are insanely good. She handled my bridesmaids and mothers like a pro and made everyone look amazing and beautiful. It wasn't just a single look slapped onto everyone; Janesa is skilled at knowing what works with someone's facial features because everyone looked so beautiful! I can't wait for another special event so I can book her again!

I hired Janesa to do my makeup for my wedding - and it was a pretty simple decision. First and foremost, Janesa is a total professional. She's responsive, organized and detailed. I had 100% confidence that she was going to show up and do a killer job, and I was excited for my bridesmaids and family members to get to work with Janesa too. (Spoiler: They all looked incredible at the wedding and every single person was happy with their makeup!) Separately though, I love the relationship we built leading up to the wedding - we talked a lot about the look we were trying to achieve, and tested things out through trails and conversations. What that meant was that on the day of the wedding there were 0 surprises. My makeup took less than an hour and it was flawless - from the color of the foundation, to how it lasted throughout the day, etc. For me, the last thing I wanted to worry about the day of the wedding was how my makeup was going to turn out, but I didn't have to worry with Janesa because she had me covered. She knew the drill, we were prepared, and she knocked it out of the park. As someone who has had their makeup done A LOT, some of the things I appreciated most were: - Janesa wanted to do my makeup the way I wanted it, not how she wanted it - I felt really comfortable giving her feedback during our trails and appointments on what I liked AND what I didn't like - and she was receptive to the feedback! - Janesa was always extremely responsive, dependable, and easy to work with - It always looked fantastic :) At this point, I think Janesa has done my makeup 5-6 times, and every time it's an awesome experience. If you're looking for a makeup artist, look no further - you'll be so happy with your decision if you hire Janesa.
