When the original location we picked for pictures wasn’t going great due to extra wind she was able to calm me down and think on the spot to come up with an even better location. eople who have absolutely no idea how to pose into models for amazing pictures! And when the pandemic changed our plans quite a few times, Janet was so understanding, patient, and supportive! She was on board with ALL of our plans and even agreed to follow us on our elopement trip!! She is more than just a photographer! Janet and Sam planned every detail of the photoshoot, came prepared with suggestions and again made the day stress free and so fun!! We just got our pictures and they turned out amazing! These will be memories we cherish forever and Janet was a huge help with that.

being able to work with my huge (24 person) bridal party. We also had some folks who were nervous about the social distancing pictures and she somehow managed to get me shots with them while still respecting their wishes. I also have a Type A personality in that I have a hard time not focusing on the hour by hour agendas and making sure every shot gets in. I did NOT have to worry about that with Janet. She and her coshooter Jeff have an excellent dynamic that was not only efficient, but allowed my husband and me to actually enjoy taking pictures and being in the moment. Finally, I got the pictures back way sooner than many of my married friends ever got theirs and the photos were absolutely BEAUTIFUL (can’t wait to purchase some albums here). Her creativity in the shots and ability to guide couples who usually don’t get photos of themselves taken, to me, are unmatched. Janet was splendid to work with and we can’t wait to bring her back for our postponed reception next year. (Oh and she is super flexible on any and all plans related to postponements too!) Hire her if you want to enjoy all moments of your day and want to reflect on all of the beauty of love that she captures!

She checked on me numerous times after our initial postponement. When we realized our wedding was about to be postponed for a second time, we decided to have a small ceremony at our home. Janet jumped at the idea, gave us additional suggestions and recommendations and literally was there every single step of the way. Janet and Jeff were professional and exceeded any expectations we had for our unconventional day. They were there at every moment, ready to capture shots I never would have expected or thought of. I promise, you will not regret having Janet as your photographer. She truly was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. Her outgoing but gentle nature gets even the shyest little ones to show their gregarious side. She captured the most precious natural moments and she’s committed to returning your pictures as soon as possible- I had access to all my pictures within a month. On the day of the wedding she had everything organized so I didn’t have to stress or even remember who I wanted a picture with. She really is someone you can count on. Just as my daughter, the flower girl, started feeling nervous and tantrum bound my lively bridesmaids came into the room looking to celebrate with shots. Janet did a great job reading the situation and redirecting the bridal party outside so that I could comfort and calm my daughter. She knows how to adjust to the unexpected while ensuring the bride that everything will turn out great. The quality of her work is amazing and she works hard to correct the imperfections. For example one of my bridesmaids had a big stain on her dress from the dry cleaners- Janet was able to adjust and make corrections so that it wasn’t noticeable in the photos. She also brought a second photographer which allowed her to capture multiple facial expressions happening at in the same moment. I wholeheartedly recommend her!
