I’ve been working with Janet for over 10 years now, making both custom pieces and altering existing items. So when it came time to search for the perfect dress for my wedding day, there was no one else in my mind to go to. Janet was a pleasure to work with as we custom created my gown. She attended my initial dress appointment where I tried on a variety of styles and materials, and observed as I picked my favorite neckline, back, skirt and materials; taking detailed pictures so that we could custom make the exact dress I dreamed of. Her dedication to fulfilling my needs extended to extensively searching for the exact lightweight lace (we ended up finding the perfect trim – which she then cut and pieced together over the entire bodice) and soft European tulle. She even made the matching veil and belt! Her professionalism and dedication to her craft made it one of the most enjoyable parts of planning the wedding. Not only was my dress exactly how I’d imagined, but her consideration of my comfort while in the dress made it easy to dance the night away!
