Janet from Sugar Art Cakery is OUTSTANDING! Not only was the cake beautiful it was absolutely delicious! As a matter of fact, the security guard who worked our venue said "I have tried 100s of wedding cakes and this is by far the best I have ever had." We will most certainly be using her for future events and would recommend her for your wedding or event.

Absolutely the best cake ever! Mrs. Janet was professional, affordable, and very accommodating. The cake and the cupcakes was everything we asked for. Awesome!!!

AMAZING! IF you ever need a cake, wedding, birthday, doesn't matter this woman will blow your mind! I had a vision and it was perfectly executed. Not only did it look out of a fairy tale it was some of the best cake I've had. Delicious!

If you need a cake for your wedding (or any event for that matter) then look no further! Janet’s ingredients and flavors are outstanding. Our guests raves about our wedding cake which we did seasonal for our November Wedding (almond bottom layer and spice top layer with almond icing). Her designs are top notch. We were looking for a very modern design to tie in our Navy and Gold theme. The cake was gorgeous! Thanks Janet! I hate that your are leaving the Richmond, VA area but I am sure you will do amazing in O.K. Melissa and Carmen

Wow wow wow! I can't rave enough about the work Janet did for our wedding cake. It was absolutely beautiful. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted sooooo good! Everyone, I mean everyone loved it to the point there wasn't any left over. When planning a wedding, things go wrong, there are bumps along the way, and sometimes visions do not work out as planned. This was not the case at all. From the beginning of planning to the final finishing touches it was a breeze. I think what sold us (besides how delicious the cake was) was the fact that you can tell how much Janet loves what she does and the amount of work she puts in to make sure your day is special. We wanted something slightly different by incorporating sugar paste succulents in the floral arrangement on the cake and Janet made it happen. Again, so thankful for her and we look forward to using her services in the future!

Janet did a great job on our wedding cake (8/31/18). We loved her variety of flavors for cake and frosting. The cake tasted amazing. We can't wait for our anniversary cake. Her pricing is very reasonable.

Best cake ever! We used Janet for our wedding last August (8/18/18) and got a cake and cupcakes. Her American buttercream was so nice and not overly sweet and her Swiss buttercream was so light and airy and it all paired well with the buttery smoothness of her cake! She has so many different flavor combinations to choose from and she’s competibely priced. I’d you decide to try Janet’s Sugar Art Cakery, try the vanilla or marble or chocolate with a raspberry filling or any filling...you won’t regret it!

Just fabulous! Janet was amazing to work with and was extremely helpful with picking our perfect wedding cake. She provided lots of knowledge. I had many compliments on how delicious the cake was and that people had never tasted anything like it before. We were extremely happy with how the wedding cake and grooms cake turned out. I would highly recommend Janet! Thank you again!

I could not have asked for a more beautiful cake. Janet created exactly what I was looking for by combining several ideas that I presented. All of my guests are still talking about how great my cake was! Some wedding cakes I've had have been dry and flavorless but not ours. Janet was the best price of several vendors we had tastings with and was extremely prompt and thorough in responding to my sporadic emails. Her communication was the best of any of my wedding vendors. I will definitely use Janet for any other special occasion cakes that I have!

Janet did an incredible job making our dream for our cake come true! It was so beautiful and exactly what I had invisioned. We got so many compliments on how delicious all of the cake flavors were. Absolutely recommend!!
