You are about to embark upon the greatest journey any couple can make - that of sharing a lifetime of love and happiness together - as husband and wife. After your ceremony you will be using the words, "this is my husband" and "this is my wife" and it is my pleasure to provide you with all the guidance you need to get that journey started, based on my 17 years of experience as a Justice of the Peace! While I am a wedding officiant based in South Windsor, CT, I perform ceremonies throughout the state of Connecticut. Whether your wedding is large or small or "just the two of you", You will receive the same level of care and attention to detail to make "your day" just as perfect and special as it deserves to be! It is an honor for me to be a part of this most special day in your life. Before your big day, I will walk you through the process, providing you with detailed information on every aspect of your ceremony. From legal requirements to ceremonies, vows, readings, and more, I will be sure you're well-informed. You may also opt to include elements such as a unity candle ceremony, a rose ceremony, or a sand ceremony. I will get to know you and your love story, allowing me to make your ceremony as personal as possible. I encourage you to write your own vows if desired. I enjoy including family members who can perform readings or participate in specific cultural traditions. Additionally, I provide a souvenir wedding certificate, a copy of your ceremony to cherish as a keepsake, music if needed, as well as handle the legal requirements. My husband is a former Mayor in our Town, is also a JP, and he serves as a back up to me, should the need arise. So couples, who choose me, receive a little "peace of mind" knowing that I have a "Plan B" to ensure they have JP when the big day arrives!
