ached out to my contacts and was given Janine’s info by a college friend, who had been in a wedding where Janine and her team did hair and make up for all the ladies. Milly gushed about her makeup, the brides and just the whole experience with Janine in general. I got married in Florida coming from Minnesota. So there would be no way for me to do my trial more than just a few days before my actual wedding, so I was putting all my faith in Janine to deliver. And WOWOWOW she did. Once I got the recommendation for Janine I went to her website and contacted her to inquire about her services. She was prompt and professional in her response. She assured me that it was not a problem to come a few days before to do my trail. Thank goodness for her in home studio, it was nice to get away from all the people! I was very nervous before going to Janine, I don’t wear a ton of makeup. But knew I would need to for good pictures and for my face to remain all day. I also have very fair skin (my bff calls me milky, just so you get an idea), I’m usually the lightest shade a foundation makes. Again, Janine assured me that she had dealt with all skin tones and that would not be a problem. So 4 days before the wedding my sister and I head off to Janine’s studio for my hair and make up trail. I had a vision for what I wanted and Janine had the plan, expertise, and experience to get it just right. Hair first! Now I want to say that I never have had good luck with my hair, it is very thick with a mind of its own. Every time I’ve had it up for a wedding or such, it’s fallen out.A major concern for me. Again Janine assured me she had it covered. AND SHE DID! My hair did not move! Even after the breeze picked up at the beach, and after dancing the whole night. Next make up. If I could convince Janine to move to Minnesota, I would hire her for life. The makeup she did was flawless. It didn’t feel heavy, which I was worried about, and had incredible staying power, again after dancing the night away. On the actual wedding day Janine and her team arrived to our room, set up like ninjas and got started right away! I had 10 people getting their hair and make up done with Janine and her team. They took their time, but stayed on schedule (a HUGE thing for me) all while making the whole group feel pampered and special. A lovely group to spend the morning with. I hired Janine to stay through the ceremony for touch ups for pictures right after. She was right there when I needed her and had everything ready to go! Zero time wasted, which is huge when you have people waiting on you. The whole night people were commenting on my hair and make up, how wonderful it was and flawless. My husband, who does not care or notice stuff like that said my makeup unbelievable (his actual words). MIL could not stop taking about her make up the next day. Loved everything about my experience with Janine and her team. Wish I lived in Florida or she lived here, I would use her all the time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Janine, she made a stressed bride feel relaxed and beyond beautiful. Thanks Janine and team!
