We provide a hands-on experience by allowing newlyweds to control the color selection and flower choices and preview their pieces before the wedding day. For over 100 years, Janousek Florist has partnered with hundreds of Omaha brides to turn dream weddings into realities. With over 60 years of combined experience, wedding consultants Shelly Krenk, Michael Taylor, and Katie Heinen ensure a stress-free experience from concept to completion.

Janousek Florist truly made our wedding day bloom with beauty and elegance. We were incredibly impressed with their service and the quality of their work.
Affordability: One of the standout aspects of working with Janousek was their affordability. Even with us covering candles to help manage costs, Janousek provided a more budget-friendly option compared to other local florists, without compromising on quality.
Quality of Work: The quality of the floral arrangements was exceptional. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, every detail was thoughtfully executed and absolutely stunning.
Flexibility and Service: Janousek Florist was incredibly easy and flexible to work with. Despite our last-minute changes and flip-flopping on some details, they handled everything with professionalism and patience, ensuring that all our requests were met.
Venue Enhancement: The flowers transformed our venue into a picturesque setting. They provided beautiful arrangements for the church, the wedding party, our King’s table, and approximately 31 tables for the reception. The highlight was the breathtaking 16-foot overhead floral installation on our King’s table, which was nothing short of spectacular.
Delivery: The only minor hiccup was that some of the flowers intended for detailed shots arrived a bit late, which meant they weren’t included in our photos. However, this small issue did not overshadow the overall positive experience.
Overall Experience: We couldn’t be happier with Janousek Florist. Their combination of affordability, quality, and excellent service made our wedding day even more special. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful floral arrangements for their event.

The showstopper! Our wedding vibe was gothic, romantic, moody, with jewel tone florals. Our Wedding party wore ALL black, so we really wanted the flowers to be our pop of color. These flowers did not disappoint! They were gorgeous! Janousek’s was so easy to work with. Our consultation with Mike was great, he really knows his stuff. I showed him a picture from Pinterest, and he made my wedding bouquet dreams come true. There was some minor miscommunication regarding flowers needed for our cake (they did not arrive with the rest of the florals to the church before the ceremony), however, one quick call and they immediately made it right by delivering the cake flowers to the reception venue in plenty of time. Crisis averted! These flowers were unforgettable and one of my pieces of our beautiful wedding day.
Janousek created gorgeous floral arrangements for our wedding at a very reasonable price. Michael was great to work with, really listening to what we wanted and he made it come to life. Will use again for all our floral needs!

Janousek did the flowers for my wedding last weekend, and they were PERFECT. I cried when I saw my bouquet. We have bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, aisle decorations, and greenery on our tables, and everything was so reasonably priced and turned out so gorgeous. My only regret is not deciding on Janousek sooner!

The team at Janousek was friendly, professional, and punctual throughout our entire experience with them! They gave great feedback, asked all the right questions, and with fairly minimal direction created a beautiful set of flowers for our wedding. I love that they are a local, family-owned business to boot!

Janousek was great to work with. I made numerous changes with my flower arrangements as I booked so far in advance and they were always quick to make adjustments to my order and were very easy to work with. Someone once told me to choose your colors and a few types of flowers, but let the florist do what they do best and be creative and they will make you amazing arrangements. I provided photos, but also was open to their creativity and I'm so glad I was. They created such beautiful arrangements that were much bigger and better than I could have ever imagined. I have received so many compliments on the flowers and am so glad we chose to go with Janousek. I would highly recommend.

Very polite staff, and even though they couldn't get in all the flowers we talked about, they still did a great job at making gorgeous arrangements. Reasonable prices when you consider the quality, I would recommend them.

Janousek Florist made my wedding visions a reality with their excellent and professional services! The bridal bouquets were stunning and we received so many compliments on the floral arrangements at our wedding reception. I would highly recommend using Janousek's to any bride looking for stunning, carefully crafted wedding bouquets and arrangements!
Janousek made everything simple. We sat down and went over flowers choices, colors, and what was needed. I had a quote before I left the building, and the contract and all of the details were available online for me to review before I decided. The flowers were delivered on time, in great condition, and looked wonderful!
I met with the florist at Janousek's a few times before the wedding to go over ideas and the colors we were using for the big day and each meeting was so easy and organized! I wasn't sure what the bouquets or center pieces were going to look like, but I was not disappointed! Everything turned out beautiful and they were very easy to work with! Would definitely recommend them to others!

The experience with Janusek Florist was not to great. My flowers were not what I ordered or what I was expecting...the price kept changing and they were rude when they messed up delivering them to the venue.
We made an appointment with Janousek Florist for our very basic flower necessities and they went above and beyond our expectations. We ordered the bridal bouquet and boutonnieres for all the groomsmen and family. All the flowers were very fresh and looked absolutely stunning! I got compliments from everyone on how beautiful my bouquet was and they smelled wonderful. They were very reasonably priced and delivery was right on time. Super professional and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for wedding flowers.
I met with several florists in Omaha before finding Janousek's, all who quoted me far above my available budget. Shelley at Janousek's was able to work with the budget I gave her, worked with me on what type of flowers I wanted in my bouquets, and gave me very beautiful flowers for a great price. I don't know much about flowers, Shelley helped me pick the perfect arrangements for our summer wedding. They deliver too!
I got my bouquet from Janouseks and it was exactly what I wanted. I had my wedding in Mexico so I had a replica bouquet done to throw at my reception. It turned out beautiful and was inexpensive!
Shelly at Janousek Florist did an AMAZING job with our centerpieces, bouquets & corsages! I went into her shop not having any clue what I wanted and left dying of excitement. She took the very basic ideas that I had and asked questions about what I liked and wanted and gave me exactly what I didn't know I wanted! The colors, shapes, sizes, and variety or flowers were gorgeous. She KNOWS what she is doing!!
Janousek did a wonderful job with our flowers. The white roses and calla lillies were perfect with our colors of blue and silver. They also delivered them to the Church which took a lot of stress off of me.
We decided to go very simple with the flowers to cut down costs. The flowers were PERFECT and the colors were right on.
Janousek's Florist is the best! They have beautiful flowers and they were everything I had expected. They lasted the whole day and night and even through the following week! I would never had chosen a better florist to accent my wedding with amazing flowers that brightened everything up!
My bouquet was breathtaking. The bridesmaid bouqets--beautiful. Boutonnieres and corsages--lovely. Centerpieces--simple and elegant. Great work by Janousek. Would highly recommend. Just be sure they take note of any flower do's or don'ts. Very accommodating to requests.
