inda, to my fittings with Brenda, it was an exceptional experience. The consultants and seamstresses at Jan’s are the best! Linda helped me find the perfect dress and Brenda did exceptional work to ensure it fits perfectly! I can’t wait to wear my dress when we celebrate my daughter’s wedding this June.

ance etc and the horrible weather lately in the northeast !!!     Once I left a bad review about the service and help and i literally left in tears after getting the dress and trying it on and not liking the color but they had a light taupe color dress used in stock tried on by probably hundreds of people and I asked if I could please swap the brand new dress for the used one since I did not like the color and I was just flat out advised the owner said NO! No discussion or let me see what we can do and now they are telling me if I would have come in right away they may have help! I can’t even believe that was a response to me!!  I was ther in person with the new dress and in tears and was told NO and no explanation given just NO and now told well if I would have come a few weeks ago it may have been different !!!   Haha, I messaged right away when I was told it arrived and advised due to distance and time off I had planned when I was originally advised it would be in and planers then and right after it arrived we had really bad weather and I would not be driving an hour and half in the snow/ice etc!!    Still it was a brand new dress and was going to take a sample try on dress and they said NO!   Very rigid and no compassion or empathy and the lady helping me said she was so sorry I wasn’t happy but the owner won’t help !!     I literally was in tears and the man that put my dress in a bag said nothing sign here and that was it!  Not friendly not apologetic nothing ! Absolutely horrible for an event and my daughters wedding day!!   What a joke! 

amazing seamstress, Hiba. They specifically helped me with a special order, sizing and special alteration schedule so that I could get to my wedding destination on time.  Do not hesitate to visit Jan’s for your special event. It is guaranteed to make you feel like a princess!!!

most fun appointment I had ever been to. My mom was beaming with joy trying on a massive selection of gowns and honestly it was all thanks to Leslie. request the woman!! she was wonderful. she heard us, asked for what we wanted showed us everything and made the experience all the more fun. It's a moment with my mom that I truly won't forget. I will be recommending this to all future MOBs.

I just went for my first fitting and Brenda (seamstress) was super helpful with her input. She made me feel at ease and I am so happy with my dress!! 

!  Linda was a fantastic consultant who completely understood my vision (and the bride’s vision) for my dress. She hit it out of the park with the first dress she pulled! While I did try on multiple dresses, all beautiful and high quality, I decided on the first dress - a gorgeous, gold Tarik Ediz Couture gown. The selection at Jan’s was wonderful, the gowns are high quality, there was a mix of traditional and non-traditional MOB dresses. Linda helped me find my perfect dress, and she was so much fun to work with. I highly recommend Jan’s Boutique. When scheduling your appointment, ask for Linda!

I was interested in, she went to work.  She had my vision nailed down. I tried on about 8 dresses that were all great and could have easily been happy wearing. But the winner of the day was not even a question. Everything about the day was fun, no pressure, and more than I could have hoped for. Jan's boutique was worth the ride from Lancaster County. Thank you for making what could have been a daunting experience one that couldn't have been more perfect!!!

ve them another shot. BIG MISTAKE!  We went for Mother of the Bride dresses.  The sales clerk asked to see pictures of our daughters bridal dress then proceeded to talk down to her about her dress. Her dress is a one of a kind from a designer in Australia.  I asked to see dresses from 2 designers from Mon Cheri, she refused to show us the dresses. She asked me what size I was and when I told her she said I was wrong my breasts are too big and I needed to look at much larger dresses. She proceeded to take me to another area of the store and 5 minutes later dumped us for another customer!  They haven’t changed in 10 years! Run! Don’t waste your time! I’m not sure how they have stayed in business this long.

got my mob dress there. Lenore was wonderful and listened to what I liked and didn’t like and budget. When looking for a dress option in a different color, I saw one hanging up and asked to try it on. It was it! Their selection is huge. Dresses are well made and they are extremely helpful. I came out swishing and twirling in this dress. My husband called it my Disney Princess dream dress - yep! Can keep long or make tea length. No annoying, itchy appliqués or bling. Bling looking material and pockets! Thank you To everyone at Jan’s. PS - told hubby and daughter that they can bury me in this dress!
