JR was fantastic to work with! He is so kind, thoughtful, and a killer DJ! He did a great job getting the guests on the dance floor and keeping them there. From the second we reached out to him, we knew he was the man for the job. Professional, but knows how to party. We had a few meetings before the event to get to know eachother and review the day of plan. He came prepared, answered questions and gave recommendations based on previous events he was a part of. If we ever have an event in need of a DJ again, he will be our go to. Thanks again JR, you are the man!

We had at a BLAST at our wedding thanks to our awesome dj. He played all the songs we asked for and mixed in songs that got everybody on the dance floor. He took his time when we had any questions before the wedding. You’re not gonna regret picking J-ARE as your dj for your event. At the end of the wedding, all our guests loved the music that was being played.

DJ J-ARE was amazing! He DJ-ed my cousin’s wedding and I knew he would be a perfect fit for ours, too. He did not disappoint. There was a huge crowd on the dance floor the whole night. He also took special care to curate exactly what we want for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. Easy to reach out to contact about any concerns. I would highly recommend this DJ.

We have been hearing nothing but glowing reviews about our DJ from our wedding last night from our guests! We also got the Uplighting from him and the ambiance was perfect! The only regrets you could have with J-ARE is how much your legs and feet are going to hurt the next day from all the dancing you’ll be doing!

JR is hands down the best DJ vendor I've ever worked with! He is very polite and takes the time to listen to your needs, as well as understand the culture you're from and accommodating in the audience. JR spent the time to learn the different customs and rituals we have as South Indians in order to properly DJ and MC our event. He even took the extra step of listening to the playlists we made and find more South Indian songs that will blend and transition well! His energy on the stage and dance floor matched the energy needed for the reception and crowd, so it was a good time overall. JR is truly amazing to work with and have as a DJ & MC!

JR was so easy to work with. He met with us several times before the wedding day and had a worksheet to fill out with all the details laid out for everything to go smoothly on our day. We gave him some last minute changes the day of which he flawlessly executed. We got compliments on him all throughout the night and are still receiving compliments for the wonderful job he did. The whole wedding was dancing all night; even though we only requested a couple songs, he played hit after hit. I almost wish we could have another wedding and hire him again!

JR was absolutely awesome at our wedding. We had an outdoor ceremony, a singer for our first dance, and a challenging playlist to adhere too. He had all his equipment ready and set up perfectly, the background music and sound for the ceremony was flawless. He accommodated our singer and provided her with all the equipment she needed for our first dance song. And when it came to the music and playlist for dancing, he was presented with a unique challenge. My side of the family is American and my husband's is Polish. We provided him with a long list of songs that we wanted the guests to hear, with many Polish songs on the list. When we say he absolutely killed it, it's an understatement, the song transitions between English and Polish were flawless and the way JR kept the party and dancing upbeat and alive was incredible. We got so many compliments on the way he was able to mix the music and we could not have been happier. We have been to many weddings and overall JR is the best out there, he had good energy and good vibes the whole night, we are very satisfied with the way he handled our wedding and would highly recommend him.

The absolute best DJ ever! I've been to sooo many weddings and not many DJs are able to get guests from all ages to come to the dancefloor. But not JR! He had everyone on the dancefloor - from my in-laws, older relatives, guests that are my ages, and kids. His live mixing and song transitiona are seamless. We had guests dancing til the end of the wedding. Outside of DJing, he made sure to check in on us and see if we're doing okay and if we needed anything. He's so attentive, thoughtful, and down-to-earth. JR is absolutely a gem. I am already thinking of events to bring him back!

From start to finish his service was an absolute favorite of everyone in attendance! J-ARE took the time to sit down with us face to face well in advance of our wedding day multiple times to ensure every wish we had could come true. I can not sing his praise high enough for just how great of a job he did. Our wedding ceremony alone had 3 different song changes, almost 20 person briday party introductions and 4 speeches. All were handled with care by him and we are beyond grateful to have had him with us. The music was awesome and he easily helped to blend our different cultures into one so that all of our guests enjoyed their time. There was never a moment that the dance floor wasn't packed with people and even still we have guests reaching out to share their praise of him. On behalf of my wife & myself we cannot suggest anyone more than J-ARE. He will easily give you one of the best performances your wedding can have!

I found j-are entertainment on Facebook before the pandemic and he answered me right away, and was very professional and answered every question I had. Then the pandemic happened and I didn’t get back to him until probably a year and a half two years later and he still remembered talking to me, and he even kept the same quote from before the pandemic. He was always very prompt with with emails and if he couldn’t answer a question right away, he would still email you and acknowledge that he saw it, and will get back to you. He met with me and my now husband twice before our wedding. The first time was just to introduce himself, and to get an idea of our music interests. The second time was after we finished our questionnaire. He wanted to make sure he had everything right. He was great with answering questions that we had, and was even better at offering suggestions when we asked. I could tell before the wedding that he really loves what he does but the day of the wedding you could really see it. He truly enjoys entertaining people and played everything that we asked him to. Not only was his price reasonable, but he was probably one of the kindest people we ever met, and was amazing the day of the wedding, 10 out of 10 highly recommend! We could not recommend JR enough! We had been to weddings that JR was DJ'ing, so we knew he would make our reception a lot of fun. What we didn't realize was how genuinely sweet and nice of a person he was. From our first phone call to our final meeting in-person, he had an energy about him that made us even more excited for our wedding. He could not have been better the day of handling the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Everything was amazing and all of our guests had a great time. The dance floor was full all night and it was all thanks to JR!

I would highly recommend JR to any couple planning their wedding!!! We had JR DJ our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Before the day JR met with us in person and over the phone multiple times to discuss everything we wanted. He was very responsive and accommodated all our requests with a super positive attitude. We had a ceremony with some unique religious components including having no officiant, and JR expertly executed the ceremony with absolutely no flaws. During cocktail hour and dinner all of the songs played were totally personalized to us and our preferences that we discussed. Our guests were loving the music so much that some started dancing before dinner was even finished!!! During the reception JR worked with the maitre d and photographer to accommodate all the events we wanted. The dance floor was packed all night and JR picked songs by reading the crowd expertly. A wedding DJ can totally make or break your event and JR made our day UNFORGETTABLE!! If you want a positive, professional DJ who knows how to keep the vibes on point throughout the whole process and the day itself, then you should hire JR!

JR is the best DJ you will find. He really is not an iPod DJ. He can read the crowd and play music that will keep your guests on the dancefloor for hours. He's professional, very nice and you won't go wrong if you book him. I can't recommend him enough for any event!

Our wedding was amazing - thanks to JR! We began our search by talking to a few companies, and then we found JR. One look at his Instagram made it clear that he would be our DJ. We wanted high energy, engagement, and attention to detail. As opposed to some companies coordinating a DJ, JR set up a meeting well on advance of the wedding to review the schedule, get to know us, and look over the finer details. He made the process effortless, which was well welcomed with all of the other planning items. JR took care of set up and break down for our ceremony and our reception. The reception was non-stop fun. No one left the dance floor. It was high energy, exciting, and fun - with the right amount of romanticism that you expect at a wedding. JR was seriously the best! Working with him up to the wedding was seamless and easy. He’s clearly very knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing. He’s super kind and easy to get along with. I’m late but I cannot say enough about how amazing DJ J-ARE was!!!! My husband and I had one goal with our DJ: make sure our guests had a good time and JR did that and SO MUCH MORE. He met with us periodically leading up to our wedding, and was patient with us (we had a whole list of must plays and don’t plays), and reassured my parents that clean versions would be played for all of our older guests. We told him that we didn’t want anyone to want to leave the dance floor and the way that he mixed the songs made sure that that was the case! We had so many people after say it was the best DJ/party they’ve seen/been a part of ever. I even forgot to tell him we pushed the timeline back a half hour (dance floor originally was going to start at 8:00 but I forgot to say it got pushed to 8:30) and he flowed with it like it was no problem at all, and our guests had no idea! Anyway, if I haven’t convinced you already, his prices were incredible, well priced for what he gives you. He also literally gave us his keys to use when we were shotgunning beers in pictures, so safe to say he’ll make sure you’re taken care of on your special day. Hire him!!!!

J-are was great! We loved the energy that he brought. He was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ: to hype the crowd up and make sure that no one was bored. JR was an absolute pleasure to work with. Super responsive, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. We were looking for a DJ that would keep the crowd moving, without being obnoxious or on the mic all night, and he did just that! JR mixes music on the spot, so it almost feels like you're in a club with the way each song flawlessly flowed into each other. Everyone was up and dancing all night- I don't think there was ever a moment (apart from dinner) where the dance floor was not packed! We've received so many compliments on the music and how JR was able to cater to all ages at our wedding, but still keep the vibe going! His "DJ Sheet" made it super easy to communicate what music we wanted played and when, and we were even able to meet in person to discuss how we wanted our night to run. Overall, 100% recommend.

JR was absolutely incredible on our wedding day! I had met JR when he was a DJ at another wedding. After a night of dancing non-stop, I knew we had to hire him for our wedding. His amazing energy and excellent music choices kept our guests on the dance floor all night long! JR was also so helpful in the lead up to our wedding and was extremely accommodating when COVID threw a wrench in our plans not once but twice. We asked JR to help us keep the dance floor packed all night, and wow, did he deliver!! As a former wedding DJ myself, I knew I was going to be very particular in what I was looking for. I cannot say enough good things about JR!!! Having great music and a packed dance floor was important to my husband and I as it’s always our favorite part of a wedding and JR definitely delivered! He was amazing! The event was at Pen Ryn and we got compliments all night about how they loved the music! One of our guests even requested a card from him while he was there too! He was extremely affordable and was very receptive to our song requests! We highly recommend and would hire again if we had another event!
