We had some unique traditions throughout the night (to get the bride and groom to kiss, table stand up together and sign song with word “love” in it) (small set of polka songs for my polish side of the family), and J-Are worked it in perfectly and had both my family and my friends dancing all night long! The songs he played during the dance were perfect for the vibe, everyone was dancing all night. I only left the dance floor to cut the cake! Highly recommend to DJ a wedding!

Throughout the planning every question we had through the process was answered quickly and with lots of detail. It was really a breeze to work with him. He played the music for our ceremony, which was seamless. He also helped us get organized with the introductions. One of the best things about working with JR was how personable he is, and how he made the night catered exactly to your needs. My wife's family likes to dance to Polka music, and JR found a way to mix it into the night without throwing off the groove of the evening. I'm a big stickler for flow of events, and this was by far the smoothest flowing party I've ever been to, thanks to JR! Do your self a favor and book him ASAP.

Being the owner, he was able to accommodate changes quickly without having to get clearance from management like other DJ companies would. Performance: From a DJ perspective, he’s a real DJ with smooth transitions between songs and excellent mix of songs. We really like his style. He arrived at the venue early and even played some soft music to set the mood while the sting trio set up for the ceremony. During the reception, he knew how to read the audience and had everyone (including the bartenders) dancing until the last-last-last song of the night. He also arrived early to set up and he also set up a speaker and microphone for the celebrant to use (outdoor wedding) for a small extra charge which was really helpful and stress-free. On the night JR really nailed the party vibe all night. I sent him a couple of customised playlists on Spotify to give him an idea of the types of songs to play, but really left the final decision on most of the songs for him to gauge the mood and enthusiasm of the guests. This is what he did really well. He took requests on the night, and announced upcoming information well. We had many comments from guests on how good the music was and “how good the DJ was” and how much fun dancing and singing everyone had. We really loved having JR there for our wedding and absolutely recommend him for anyone because of his flexibility and willingness to customise to whatever we wanted and to read the vibe of the party on the night.

What made our decision complete to go with JR as our DJ was after our initial phone call, we could just immediately tell he has a passion and understanding for music! JR is not going to just go up there and hit play - he is going to Disc Jockey! Throughout the planning process JR was super responsive to our questions and requests and extremely professional. We live in New Jersey and JR was very accommodating to meet with us in PA when we were back in the area on weekends to go over the plans. We had a special request to mix in a specific part of a Justin Timberlake song at the end of our first dance that my now husband and I used to listen to during long drives back from college and it was just perfect! We also decided late in the game to get a monogram light and JR was able to work his magic to get that together for us! Picking JR as our DJ was the absolute best decision we made - he brought the party to life, our guests and even the staff at the venue kept saying how great of a DJ we have. We highly recommend JR to anyone looking for a DJ!!

I had requested a few meetings with him which he was always willing to accommodate whether it be over the phone or in-person. The night before my wedding I had some last minute changes to go over which he had no problem accommodating. One of my concerns for the ceremony was the mic system. I wanted our guests to be able to hear my husband and I but I didn't want a microphone set up between us. JR did an awesome job of working with the mic hooked up to our pastor so that when my husband or I were speaking, the volume was turned up so even those far away could hear us which was exactly what I wanted! I would highly recommend JR for a wedding or any other event!

beginning I did a lot of research in regards to cost and quality before I hired any of my wedding vendors. I found J Are on wedding wire and instantly contacted him since he had nothing but good reviews and his prices were amazingly reasonable. My main request when it came to a DJ was to have everyone up, dancing, and having fun since it was a St. Patrick's Day Wedding. I also wanted a DJ with a reasonably priced projector and screen because my parents both passed away and this was going to be one of the best ways to honor them by having their pictures playing as I danced with my brother during the father daughter dance. J Are defiantly accommodated both of my wishes. We meet several times throughout the planning process and every time he came to me so that I didn't have to travel far. He was very easy to get a hold of anytime I needed him. I gave him a list of songs that I liked and he played every one of them as well as all of the songs that my guest requested the night of. The day of my wedding he arrived early (In fact earlier than me) which is awesome and was ready to party and get my guest up and dancing as I wished. My slide show was amazing and I received nothing but compliments about how fun my wedding was and how good my DJ was. I highly recommend J Are and I would surely hire him again for any of my future DJ needs!!!!

During the night everything went smoothly between him and our Wedding Coordinator. We had a variety of ages present at our Wedding and everyone got to hear music that they loved. During the Wedding everyone commented on how great the music was and a month and a half later I am still hearing wonderful comments from our guests. If JR did not currently have a song we requested during the planning stages he made sure to have it available for the Wedding. If you are looking for an AWESOME DJ for your wedding, look to JR!!!
