My husband and I are wanderlusts from Michigan. We married at a historic bed and breakfast outside Harrisonburg, Virginia – 10 hours from home. Our wedding planner recommended seve...
ral local photographers. We reviewed the online portfolios for each photographer as a practical exercise. We knew Jared was "our guy" as soon as we viewed his work. We loved his vivid and clean photos, which still managed a tremendous amount of contrast and depth.
Working with Jared is an easy and efficient experience. He communicated promptly via e-mail. We were able to sign our contract with him electronically. He worked directly with our wedding planner to handle logistics for the big day. Jared's laid-back and personable demeanor makes it easy to relax for photos. He had great suggestions for poses and photogenic locations. He was flexible and accommodating to last-minute requests. Impressively, Jared earned smiles from even our most stoic family members.
It took about 3.5 weeks to receive our completed wedding gallery. Jared had set proper expectations for us, but it was hard to stay patient. We couldn't open the link fast enough when they arrived! Our photos -- all 532 of them -- were well worth the wait. We had high expectations, and Jared exceeded all of them.
Joe and I enjoyed a magical wedding day that was perfect for us, and it's a memory we'll cherish for the rest of our lives together. Thank you, Jared, for expertly and beautifully capturing those moments so we may relive them time and time again.
Jared is absolutely phenomenal and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!! We hired him pre-covid and he was able to accommodate our pushing back a year, and then I...
ended up getting covid the week of our rescheduled date and re-planning to do a small backyard distanced ceremony and rescheduling our big wedding for a later date. The re-planning was incredibly scrambly but he was fully on board with rolling with the punches and helping us out in any way he could, and we ended up having him both photograph our backyard ceremony and take care of the photography for our big wedding! We are so, so thankful for how accommodating, understanding, and kind he was and we're overjoyed to have gotten to work with him. And obviously, his photos are BEAUTIFUL. We're going to treasure these pictures forever and I can't stop looking at them- every single person that's seen them has commented on how amazing they came out! He listened to us, got all of the shots that we wanted, and was an absolute delight to hang out and work with, and he really puts you at ease even if you don't feel super comfortable getting your picture taken. He even turned the galleries around super quickly, which we were very thankful for because we knew the photos were going to be beautiful! I would strongly strongly recommend hiring him for any event ever- you will be glad you did!

d is very talented, prepared, knowledgeable, and knows how to make a nervous bride feel completely comfortable on her wedding day. His second shooter captured all of the Groom and his guys important moments and was just as skillful as Jared. He is easy to get in contact with and responds in a timely manner. If you are a bride or someone that is looking for a photographer in this area, Jared Ladia Photography is the perfect way to go!

nt of the camera for the first time. Throughout the wedding planning process, Jared was always professional and took the time to listen to what we wanted. We were blown way with how organized he was at the wedding--he managed to direct large groups of family and friends and made sure to photograph every last shot we requested. We received our photos quickly and are ecstatic with the way they turned out! Our family and friends have also raved that he perfectly captured all the emotions and little moments of the day. Seeing Jared in action and looking at the photos, It is clear that he is incredibly talented. He approaches each shot with a unique perspective and catches the light in the most beautiful way. Jared was so sweet and fun to work with--we would highly recommend using him as your photographer.
When my husband and I first met Jared we agreed to meet at a Starbucks for what we thought was going to be a quick introduction. We ended up sitting and talking with Jared for two ...
hours! He was so personable and we immediately knew that we felt comfortable with him taking pictures of us on our wedding day.
On the day of our wedding he was a positive presence and even our friends felt comfortable around him. He was always ready and willing to take pictures that we thought of doing on the fly even to the point of sending us pictures immediately after taking them (edited and all)!
We received our pictures quickly and they did not disappoint. We have had several friends already inquire about using him as their wedding photographer next year!
Thank you, Jared for capturing our day so perfectly. We hope to work with you again soon or see you at an upcoming friends wedding!!

k with that he really minimized our wedding stress. We got married in Maryland but live in Oregon. Jared was amazingly quick with all communication which minimized he distance between us. Jared was also adventurous enough to come out to Oregon to shoot some absolutely amazing engagement photos in our favorite places. Jared returned our engagement photos very quickly, and our wedding photos in less than three weeks which was amazing! He did absolutely gorgeous work which anyone can see from the photo evidence. He was also so calm and easygoing on our wedding which helped overall with the whole day. We had such an amazing experience.
