We are Jarot and Jennifer, a husband/wife wedding photography duo from Northern New Jersey. When we are not photographing fun and adventurous couples on their wedding day, we spend our free time building Lego princess castles and watching superhero adventure movies with our two wonderful kids (who will grow up to be foodies and salsa dancers like their mom and dad!).
Life is exciting and beautiful and we want to capture it all. Not only that, we understand that family is everything. Your wedding day is more than just the story of the two of you. It is also about all the people who will be celebrating with you; your grandma who raised you since you were a little child, who will be watching you slip into your gorgeous wedding dress for the very first time. Your uncle who traveled from across the country, just so he can join you on the dance floor and dance to your favorite song. As parents of two young children of our own, we have a profound appreciation for family and the fleeting moments that we get to celebrate with them. Your wedding day would be no different.
We also know that every couple is special and unique in their own way - and that is why every image and every moment we capture needs to represent what you are all about. As your trusted wedding photographers, we want to help commemorate everything that makes you and your love for each other amazingly unique. The last photo shoot we had was in Washington D.C. We wanted to do it with the sunrise on July 4th. He drove from NJ to DC during the night and arrived on time, full of energy, to take our pictures. I had both an engagement session and the wedding day photos. The engagement photo session, we were both tense and a little nervous about posing and looking stiff. Jarot walked us through tricks we can do to relax and look natural. It was great, to the point. We got so many great shots and it really was so nice to see him get excited about our pictures as much as we were. You can tell he loves what he does. We booked a year in advance and he would often follow up just to check on us- he always offered help with anything and everything, because of him we found our florist! He’s a great resource! The weeks leading up to the wedding we spoke several times to lock down a schedule and photos we had to have. IT WAS AMAZING AND SO ORGANIZED!
