information he needed, and his repertoire had a lot of variety to choose from. Jarrett’s playing was beautiful and really elevated our ceremony. Our pre-ceremony music selection didn’t end up being long enough for the amount of time it took before we got started, and Jarrett filled the extra space with another piece from his repertoire, which we appreciated.

ils/calls/texts. Although he is a classical guitarist, his scope of music spans a variety of genres, so he was able to play more recent pop songs on his guitar in such an elegant way. He knew most of the songs I had requested, and he even learned a special song that I wanted to be played before the ceremony! His suggestions for songs were right up my alley, so I could tell he listened carefully to our requests and he knew the vibe we were going for. Most importantly, he also achieved that vibe on our day - all songs went off without a hitch, which added such a special dimension to our wedding day. We and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed his music. 10/10 would book again!

A wedding ceremony should be both joyous and serene and Jarrett's playing added a beautiful and mystical layer to the event. Our daughter and now husband married on 10/28/2017 at ...
Ft. McNair. The ceremony, held out of doors, was beautifully augmented by the elegance of Jarrett's guitar playing. He had just the right amount of amplification to be heard but not overwhelm - what a pro! Jarrett has a vast and diverse array of songs in his play list. We chose a few classical favorites; he also performed La Vie en Rose (bridesmaids entrance) and our daughter's personal favorite, Moon River (bride and parent's entrance). Everything had an ethereal feeling and especially Jarrett's musical offerings. Many in attendance are also musicians and they gave his performance high praise. He dressed impeccably, was dignified in manner, and came and left rather discreetly. As the mother-of-the bride, I highly recommend Jarrett's guitar playing for your special day.

asy. Thing about Jarrett that is most special is that he was never something for me to worry about. Jarrett arrived on time and presents himself well. He played as my guests arrived, for the ceremony, and for a cocktail hour after the ceremony. He is very sensitive to what volume is appropriate and what songs are a good choice, but has a list of music you can choose from as well. With all of the vendors you will have on your wedding day, you owe it to yourself to make an easy decision to have Jarrett Laskey be your musician.

ke sure that all of the music choices were what I wanted. He even took the time to learn a new piece that I had requested for our recessional. Oddly enough, Jarrett had actually given guitar lessons to my husband's late brother, which we didn't know at the time we booked him but it later came out once my fiance & I were talking. Jarrett remembered my husband's brother and even remembered, and played, one of his favorite pieces. Jarrett is an amazing talent and an incredibly genuine person, which for me, goes a long way. A great wedding vendor!!
