od from the minute I saw his photos and from our engagement session to our wedding, every expectation was completely exceeded. He made us both so comfortable, was incredibly communicative and very quick to respond. He also had a calming presence that really, truly brought out the best in both of us from behind the lens. I sent some inspiration photos to Jarrod and he completely nailed them, I also got our photos back 3x faster than every other friend of mine who has gotten married in the LA area. We'd recommend working with Jarrod again in a heartbeat! Thank you for capturing our most special day!

-I don't think Jarrod ever took more than 8 hours to respond to my emails and his responses were always thorough and helpful. He makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. He scouts his locations when he can, but he also has a way of walking through a space and finding beautiful places to capture a photo that anyone else would easily overlook. When we started our search for a photographer, there were quite a few out there who had recently left 9-5s to dabble in photography and I really appreciated the fact that Jarrod had been doing this his entire life! He appreciates the way light plays and boy does it show in his work. He's also gifted at capturing both planned and candid moments, and nothing ever looks posey!
Needless to say- our engagement photos were perfection, our wedding sneak peek photos were divine, and we know we are going to call on Jarrod to continue capturing our lives together. Thanks, Jarrod!
I would also be a fool if I didn't mention his co-photographer on our wedding day, Rachael. She was like a surprise that I didn't even know I needed there. She always made sure I knew what we were doing, where we were going, that she had my phone in her phanny pack, and more. She went above and beyond for us. I told him I wanted "green scenery" with a beautiful backdrop. Not much to go on, but he went hiking/scouting ahead of our visit and found the most amazing spot for us to shoot. Just so perfect and it was everything I wanted and more. Our photos are insane and he had the best ideas for shots and poses for us (two incredibly awkward people). He made us feel like naturals and also brought us some local craft beer to help us loosen up a bit. Both of us had so much fun with him - even my camera-shy fiance.
After the long afternoon of shooting and hiking, Jarrod immediately edited some of his favorites to share with us, which was such a great surprise.
Jarrod kept up with us after our engagement shoot and still sends us messages from time to time, which I think is such a great testament of the level of detail and care he gives to his clients. We wish we had flown him all the way to Georgia for our wedding!
