But when we asked ChatGPT for a list of the 5 most popular wedding photographers in the Bay Area, only one photographer's name showed up on the list every single time: Jasmine Lee!!! During our engagement shoot, she made posing feel so easy and natural for us, as she directed every single photo. Jasmine made the engagement session so much fun! She sent us the sneak peeks just a few hours after the session, and we were obsessed with all the photos and amazed at how she made us look so good!! Throughout the wedding planning process, we sent countless emails back and forth to discuss our various ideas and timeline changes, and she was so quick to respond every single time. She offered really good advice along the way, and made us feel confident that she had things under control. Then on the wedding day, Jasmine was incredible. Though we were running behind schedule by an hour, Jasmine was so calm and somehow managed to fit in all of our photo requests! Even when our coordinator told us that there wasn't enough time for both golden hour sunset photos and guest table photos, Jasmine quickly stepped in and handled it all in record time with great poise. We were so impressed with her the entire day, as she so calmly and confidently directed us, our wedding party, and seemingly even our videographers from another vendor because they trusted her so much! Jasmine's attention to detail is impeccable, as she fixed my wedding dress in literally every photo and made sure my hair and jewelry looked perfect too. Jasmine once again sent us the sneak peeks in record time, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED every single photo!!! My grandpa said "every photo is a work of art," and my dad said he's never seen such beautiful photos from any photographer on any website. Both my parents said that she made both of our venues look more beautiful than they looked in person or in any other photos they've seen, and we 100% agree with all of those sentiments! We already fell in love with all the engagement photos she took, so she already set the bar super high, and we couldn't believe it when she somehow managed to exceed our expectations yet again. done tons of research into city hall photographers, and we were obsessed with Jasmine's work and her style. After reaching out to Jasmine, I was elated to know that she was available the day we requested. She was all hands on deck, she was very helpful, and she answered all of our questions and concerns. Jasmine means business and she was as professional as can be. I gave her a list of "must have" photos (one being the famous staircase picture), and she created a timeline for our day. During one of our last phone calls before the wedding, I told her I had concerns about what I was planning to wear. She messaged me on the side and we discussed some good options. Her kindness and consideration for me made me even more excited to work with her. When we met at the courthouse, it was busier than ever. Apparently everyone decided to get married the same day and take pictures on the grand staircase. I was concerned we would not be able to get the shots that we wanted because it seemed we were competing against 20 other couples. We started our shoot upstairs and were blessed with amazing lighting. We then went down to check in for our appointment, and Jasmine got some great candids! While we did our paperwork in the county clerk's office, she generously offered to watch our dog so that we didn't have to bring him in with us. More time has passed and the staircase was still flooded with other couples. After our intimate civil ceremony, we made it down to the staircase. Jasmine proactively moved everyone out of our shots to ensure we got the photos we wanted. [The end result appeared as if we had the entire courthouse to ourselves. I was truly astonished!] Next, we headed over to Baker Beach, where it was supposed to rain for that one hour of the entire week that we had scheduled to take pictures. I don't care if people say "rain on your wedding day is good luck" - I didn't want it. Amazingly enough, San Francisco's microclimate was on our side, and Karl the fog dissipated, giving us the most incredible golden hour. Now that is what I call good luck. Honestly, the day couldn't have gone any better all thanks to Jasmine. I think she is our good luck charm! Jasmine is personable, easy to get along with, and frankly an elite. Photography is her art and passion, and it is obvious in the breathtaking quality of her photos. I would highly recommend Jasmine time and time again!

Jasmine was our first vendor, and I knew immediately after I met with her that I wanted her as our photographer. Her portfolio is STUNNING, she is so easy to talk to and I felt like catching up with an old friend during our first chat, she is super responsive to emails, is super clear and thoughtful and sweet when she responds, she is very organized and on top of things. She also gave me a lot of amazing recommendations for all of our other vendors, and I couldn't have found all of our vendors without her. She even had little notes that gives more background on how much she has worked with those vendors etc., and that was also really helpful. I had SO MANY questions along the planning process, some photography-related, some not related to photography at all, and she answered all of my questions so quickly and thoroughly. I felt like I had a great friend along my wedding journey, and I'm so thankful for Jasmine. Jasmine's photography timeline was super helpful to everyone involved with the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she made my husband and I feel super comfortable in front of the camera, and gave really helpful direction for poses, which I really appreciated. Like many other reviewers mentioned, she has such a great eye for details! She sent us the sneak peeks super fast, just a few days after the wedding, and they were so good and it was really nice to share photos with our friends just a few days after the wedding! She sent us the full set of photos just five weeks after our wedding, and they are PHENOMENAL! Looking through them transported us back to our wedding day and all of the emotions that we had that day. I'm so thankful that our photos are so amazing because I know that we will treasure them forever. You will not regret booking Jasmine. Jasmine was not only able to capture some immaculate shots during all our photoshoots, she captured stunning scenery photos as well- and made it so fun! e have admired Jasmine's photos from afar and was one of the first vendors we booked. We are lucky enough to have hired her for our micro-wedding this year and look forward to her photography for our bigger wedding celebration next year (fingers crossed)! My suggestion would be to book as early as you can because you don't want to miss out on having Jasmine Lee as your photographer. Engagement Session: Jasmine shot our engagement session at the Sutro Baths in San Francisco on a Wednesday, despite it being the middle of the week, there were tons of other people taking photos and sight seeing! This was not a problem for Jasmine at all. She knew just how to work the area and in the photos it looks like we were the only people there! She is magic! This was our first experience being photographed by a professional, so we were nervous but Jasmine is such a warm and friendly person, she made us feel comfortable right away. In addition to this, she knows just how to position you, tells you where to put your arms or tilt your head. She creates beautiful natural-looking poses. She is not one of those photographers that only does posed tacky shots, but she creates a scene and shoots candid and sweet moments. The photos were absolutely stunning (I'll post a few below). She also shoots film as well as digital and having some film photos was a nice bonus. Wedding: We stayed at the SF Proper Hotel and got married at San Francisco City Hall in September. If you check out Jasmine's website you can see some of the beautiful photos she has taken at SF City Hall. She has photographed here many times and really knows how to work the building! Having had Jasmine photograph us for our engagement session, we felt very comfortable knowing what to expect on our wedding day. My recommendation would be to book her for both! Prior to our wedding day she sent a questionnaire and from this she created a photography timeline of the day. It was very well organized and helped us stay on track throughout the day. She thinks of everything! Words cannot describe how beautiful our wedding photos are!! Jasmine is truly an artist and really knows how to compose a photograph. Not only is she one of the kindest women I have had the pleasure of working with during this wedding process, but you can tell she really loves what she does by the huge amount of effort she puts in photographing as well as processing the photos. ngs in 2018, we got started 12+ months in advance to research photographers. And Jasmine Lee's body of work, professionalism, and work ethic made her our #1 choice by far. What we considered a priority: -General tone of photos (romantic, soft, natural) -Style of photography (photojournalistic, aside from portraits of course) -Reliability in turnaround (heard too many horror stories of waiting months and months for photos) -Flexible packages with a la carte options -Personality fit Jasmine is super prolific on social media, which allows you to get a solid feel of the types of photos she takes. And it sure made a lot of our research a breeze. All of her photos were gorgeous and in line with what we wanted for our wedding. As an added benefit, she had photographed at our venue previously and was familiar with the possible shooting locations, a huge plus. We booked Jasmine for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding day, which allowed us to get a feel for how Jasmine works. We were shooting at City Hall in San Francisco, which is a super popular location and her extensive experience showed. She was familiar with all the nooks and crannies and we got some great shots away from where the rest of the crowds were concentrated. Additionally, she took care to creatively frame us so that we didn't have people in the background of the giant stairwell - a difficult feat considering how many people had photoshoots going on. On our wedding day, whenever we weren't doing direct portraits, I probably couldn't even tell you where Jasmine was. That's how well she blended in! It made for some gorgeous candid photos of us and our guests during the ceremony and reception. I also love how she wasn't afraid to take charge and make recommendations. For example, we had scheduled some sunset photos for after dinner, but the light was hitting just right during cocktail hour and Jasmine recommended we sneak away to get some more portraits done. I'm glad we did as those photos are among some of my favorites from the day! Her direction and experience was much appreciated. And not only is she a gifted photographer, Jasmine is very communicative over email, forthcoming about her availability as she travels for shoots as well, and is super considerate. She even sent us a care package with a magazine, facemasks, candles, candy, and vendor recommendations. We even used the box it came in during the wedding! You know what they say about wedding vendors - the photographer and caterer are the most critical, and whew am I glad we chose Jasmine as our photographer. She, along with her assistant Kara, made sure that our memories of this amazing day will be preserved just as we remember them!

We also asked her for advice on things like locations for engagement photos, recommendations for hair and makeup, and our wedding photography timeline. We requested specific shots of wedding décor details, photos of different combos of family members, a big group photo, and nighttime shots….and she made sure to capture them all. We got our wedding photos a lot quicker than expected and they all turned out beautifully!! They say ‘pictures are forever’, and we are SO glad that we chose the best photographer to capture our forever. Jasmine is a professional in every sense of the word. g our wedding style and locations with me beforehand so that she was well-prepared for what to expect and had ideas of moments to capture. She particularly made sure we had all those moments especially important to us caught on film. She and her co-photographer spent extra time with us the morning of while we were getting ready, capturing the intimate interactions with our wedding party, as well as the nerves and anticipation preceding my walk down the aisle. Our reception took place at a winery, where we enjoyed shooting some creative photos with her amongst the wine barrels. Her knowledge and use of light, even in the dark spaces, made each photo phenomenal. This past weekend we were blessed to work with Jasmine once again!
