Jason Groenink

Jason officiated our wedding this past weekend and did an excellent job! He really took the time to understand our relationship and incorporate our religious backgrounds into the ceremony. Our guests could tell that it was thoughtfully planned out and even thought he was a friend who was stepping in as the officiant. Although Jason was not the most expensive or cheapest option, we decided to move forward with him as he had very positive and calming energy. I highly recommend Jason!

Jason was amazing! He suck with us from 2019 to 2022. He scheduled time to meet with me and my fiancé to get to know us a little better and get our feelings on what we feel in comfortablilty in prayer or blessings or bible verses. He was very helpful in leading the rehersal and helped our wedding party figure out where they needed to be and when. The Ceremony was beautiful. He added in some nice personal details we brought up in our first meeting. And it didn’t feel too long or too short. He also helped us after the ceremony in figuring out what to sign for official documents. Very kind, funny and professional guy. Glad to have him as part of our day!

I am so glad that we chose Jason to officiate our wedding. He managed to provide the perfect fit for our vibe - a balance of religious and non-religious components. We really enjoyed getting to know him over a few zoom calls prior to our big day, and were so grateful for his recommendations for Bible readings and other wedding readings, a few of which we used in our ceremony! Without him, we definitely would not have found the readings we did, and they ended up being perfect. Jason also put together a beautiful homily after the reading about the meaning of the reading and how that applied to us and to marriage. I want a copy of what he said - it was so beautiful. He had a great presence, just the right amount of humor, kept everyone engaged, and had the ceremony run so smoothly. I would highly recommend him in the future and am so glad he was recommended to us by our wedding planner.

We were looking for an officiant that could balance both a sense of humor and a sense of gravitas for our ceremony, so when we met with Jason on our coordinator's recommendation, we were pleasantly surprised to have found someone who fit what we were looking for so well. Jason helped us customize our ceremony script via many back and forth emails after meeting with us initially in person, and did a phenomenal job putting people at ease and helping set the tone in both the rehearsal and ceremony.
