100/10. Jason Kendall Productions is the very best. We can’t stress enough how happy we are with Jason Kendall Productions, who played for our ceremony and reception at our wedding. Jason also did a wonderful, spot on job at providing the MC services for the night. Guests have reached out to specifically tell us how much they loved our band. They kept the party going all night long, and the dance floor full. Jason hit every genre and read the room, when a new style of song was needed. We still can’t get over how wonderful they were. Jason was easy to work with leading up to our wedding, and always got back to us quickly and answered any questions or concerns. If you are questioning if you should book Jason for your event, you 1000% should! You will be so happy you did!

My mom's only request for our wedding was a live band, so when I stumbled on Jason Kendall Productions and saw they could provide a jazz trio, DJ and MC, and dance band, I was over the moon! And everyone LOVED Jason Kendall Productions at our reception! The jazz trio for cocktail hour set a classic & elegant mood, and the dance band/DJ for the dancing was perfect fun! Jason did a phenomenal job at our wedding! It ended up being a chilly and rainy Pennsylvania day, but he was able to keep guests up and dancing the entire night. We started with his wonderful live music during cocktail hour - which was a HUGE hit with our guests. He worked with us to time speeches, dances, and special surprises throughout the night! Jason and his band went above and beyond for our September wedding more than we could have ever expected. Our guests are still raving about them 2 months later! It was such a pleasure working with Jason, who helped us personalize our ceremony and was super detail oriented We appreciated his easy demeanor and his attention to detail and just overall personability! As two musicians, music was super important to my husband and me and we were really blown away by their performance at our wedding. They learned specific songs for our ceremony, which they performed with an acoustic guitar duo, which made the moment that much more special and beautiful. The transition into the jazz trio during cocktail hour sounded great and it was such a fun way to get the vibe going before the reception. Jason as MC kept everything flowing smoothly and on time, and checked in with us throughout the night. The band kept the dance floor full the entire time, even friends who I’ve never seen dance before. They have an extremely diverse set of songs that they play, and they really nail every genre so well. Jason and I never met in person before the day of the wedding but he was professional, thoughtful, and was always quick to respond when we had questions throughout the whole planning process. I asked Jason to play solo piano for the ceremony and he nailed a cover of Brandi Carlisle “The Story”. During the reception they kept the dance floor packed all night and our rowdy crowd cheered for an encore and they obliged! Don’t hesitate to book! Amazing! Can’t say it enough!

Jason Kendall Productions was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Our dance floor was packed from the first song to the last song. Guests that never normally dance at weddings were up and having a blast! We received countless compliments regarding how fun, energetic, and inclusive the music selection was. Jason Kendall was also incredibly easy to work with and made the entire planning process personal and fun. He was quick to answer any questions my husband and I had, and truly remembered every single detail to pull off the perfect reception. My husband and I couldn’t recommend this band enough! It’s been over a month and friends and family are still bringing up how fun the night was.

The absolute best! I cannot recommend choosing Jason and his band enough. My husband and I are musicians and music was one of the most important aspects of our day, and Jason and his group blew me away. I knew they would be good, but I didn't know they would be THAT GOOD! On top of that, Jason was one of the kindest vendors I encountered in all of Pittsburgh. He was communicative, kind, thorough, personable, and patient. He spoke with me and my family for hours as we sorted out the right package, instrumentation, and then the right flow of events for the evening. Jason takes the time personalize your wedding reception. I don't believe anyone in the area does that. His team is creative and flexible. He made our day unforgettable and the dance floor was full all night!!! So grateful to work with them. Don't second guess this choice - we spent hours debating on the right band and working with them was definitely the right choice.

Jason and his team were amazing. Truly I’m so grateful that our wedding was delayed due to covid, because it gave us the opportunity to get on Jason’s books. He took our wedding to the next level. A few specifics that might help future brides and grooms… 1. I am literally repulsed by most wedding MCs. I find them cheesy and annoying. Jason and DJ Digital Dave (who did some MCing as well) weren’t like that. I wanted the tone to be more along the lines of a fun night out with friends and family… their announcements kept the programming moving and made it a wedding, but didn’t detract from that vibe. 2. Jason works his butt off but makes it look effortless. He played acoustic guitar and sang for cocktail hour, played live sax and beats for dinner, and then headed up the band for dancing. He even played about 35-40 minutes after the venue technically closed because no one wanted to leave the dance floor. That’s a lot for one human but it didn’t seem to phase him- he brought the energy 100% of the time yet wasn’t annoying about it either. 3. I’m so glad we splurged on the DJ/ Band combo. Jason works closely with DJ Digital Dave- who is actually a club DJ and does live mixes. Look him up- he’s the real deal. This allowed us to do two turn tables and a live sax during dinner. It gave our wedding a fun, upscale, yet approachable vibe. It wasn’t old dinner music like Kenny G or something… quite the opposite…he even did a childish gambino cover on the saxophone. Such a vibe… energizing but not overly distracting. It was cool but still gram gram approved. Additionally the DJ/ Band combo not only allowed us have full range of songs but we were able to get pretty creative as well. For example.. they did live drums to ‘Teach Me How to Dougie’. It was sick. With so many weddings happening now.. I for one am pretty bored with the typical wedding music. All of the song choices were exciting yet accessible to all. 4. The dance floor was packed. So our venue was set up in a way that the dance floor wasn’t centrally located AND the bar was in the other room. This would have been the kiss of death for an average band or DJ. Yet after they got going it was packed. If your venue is chopped up (like the Duquesne Club or whatever.. for reference we were on the lower level of the Monterey Bay) and you want people to dance, you’ll need to invest in above average music. 5. They are experts in their craft. As such, they do not need micromanaged. I was worried about the sound being too loud given the low ceiling at our venue but it was a non issue. They have such a gift, not only for playing music but reading the crowd responding accordingly. I sent them an obnoxious amount of music requests but at the end if the day they knew what we wanted to hear before we even knew it! Long story short, if you want good music reach out to Jason!! We couldn’t be happier.

Run, don't walk to book Jason Kendall Productions for your wedding!!! Music is important to my family, and we knew that we just had to have a live band for our wedding reception. After doing a ton of research, I'm so happy that we decided to book Jason Kendall Productions!!1 We had a jazz set during cocktail hour and the full band during our dancing reception, and the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night. Jason made planning SO easy for us, and was super accommodating with requests. They even let my brother (who is a professional drummer) play a song during our reception, which was such a special moment we are so grateful for! Our guests raved about the band all night long and we are STILL getting compliments! They are kind and so so talented. I would highly recommend them for any special event!!!

Jason was a true professional, gentleman, and rock! He helped guide me through every step of planning, even with my unique situation that caused last minute changes. Hiring the Jason Kendall Band was the best decision we made for our entire wedding. From the beginning, Jason was so kind and accommodating. He was organized and adaptive to our special requests for the music for both the ceremony and the reception. During our reception, the dance floor was not empty for a second, and guests from 5 years old to 70 years old were consistently on the floor. We received more compliments on the band than any other aspect of the day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this group!

We started off totally clueless about what was needed, and he led us through the entire process and took care of every detail from pre-ceremony to cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. We loved working with Jason Kendall and his team for our wedding ceremony music! Right from walking us through the contract process to performing on the big day, everything was perfect. Jason and his team provided us with sufficient time to select our custom music for prelude, entrance and recession. The team was truly a professional -- in terms of timely communications and acknowledging our broader event timeline to fit their ceremony music production. They went above and beyond to include a few Bollywood melodies into the performance, which was really commendable :) A must recommend if you're looking for a trustworthy, quality performance partner for your special event!

If every vendor was like Jason Kendall Productions, planning a wedding would be a complete breeze. We hired them for live music for the ceremony, cocktail, and reception. Planning our wedding happened to come in at a very unexpected busy year for both my fiancé and me. Even though we knew entertainment is a very important part, given all the other planning we had to do and with everything else going on in our lives, we only had time to give our selections for the main songs in the ceremony and reception. We asked Jason Kendall to do what he felt was best reading the crowd. And we could not have been happier with both the talent throughout the day and professionalism of working with the band in the entire process. Throughout the night, we kept getting people asking how we found the band and that they were incredible. Almost a week later, I am still getting messages and texts regarding how great they were and because of them, the dancing never stopped! One sweet touch is that he knew our intention was to give him a playlist of Italian music but as mentioned, we just did not have the time to put it together. He surprised with several songs he added on his own and that was greatly appreciated!

As a COVID Bride, I've planned 2.5 weddings over the course of 2 years, and I cannot say enough good things about Jason Kendall and his band. He was always communicative and extremely flexible. Our wedding reception on 7/10 was FAR from normal, and Jason and his band were ready and willing to roll with the punches, read the room, and put on a SHOW that friends and family members have been RAVING about ever since. I gave them my full trust to play what they felt was appropriate during the wedding, and they did so perfectly. Jason was also so ready and willing to help my Dad's band set up and borrow their equipment to play a short set in the middle of the wedding, which made my dream of having them play a reality. I truly and honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about them and neither can my guests. If you're looking for a band that can play (and play perfectly) everything from Backstreet Boys to Prince, stop right here, you've found the best in the 'burgh.

Jason Kendall is wonderful and just so helpful! I honestly have to say that his services were absolutely flawless!!! We couldn’t be happier. He was easy to work with, gave us great ideas, and provided exactly what he promised. :) Just a beautiful singer and soloist at our wedding. Jason also introduced us to Jacqui. What an absolutely beautiful person. Her officiating the service was just so perfect. I literally listened to every word. Beautiful inflection and wonderful delivery. Bravo! DJ Roy was great, too. What a great mix and fun times!! Nothing but kudos and high-fives from us and the crowd. Huge props!

Jason Kendall worked with us in the midst of all of the COVID changes, he kept me at ease with everything, provided help in areas I was worried about, or hadn't thought about! Truly excellent every step of the way. They went above and beyond in helping customize the perfect day for us! I would highly recommend booking any portion of their services for an event!

Jason Kendall Productions was absolutely incredible. They controlled the flow of the wedding from cocktail hour through the speeches. The song selection for the dancing portion was top notch. CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!! Jason Kendall Productions is hands down, THE BEST wedding band out there. They absolutely MADE our wedding - no one left the dance floor the ENTIRE NIGHT - it was PACKED and so much fun!! We had several people ask us who they were, how to book them and numerous people even went up to them during the reception to try to book them for future events - our guests could not get over how amazing they were. We got so many compliments throughout the night and even now (several months after) people are still raving about how good the band was. It didn't matter which song was playing, the dance floor was completely packed all night. They also took requests from the guests and I swear they had just as much fun as we did. They also went above and beyond and LEARNED A NEW SONG for our first dance - AND allowed us to have a guest singer for it (a childhood friend) - they took the time to schedule a rehearsal with her beforehand and it literally could not have been more perfect. We also used them for the 3 piece jazz band during cocktail hour, and it was outstanding. They truly are above and beyond talented and willing to go out of their way to make your day everything you imagine it to be. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The first time I heard Jason Kendall and his band I knew that I had to have them at my wedding. They were absolutely outstanding! Jason and his band was so organized and professional. They checked in with my husband and I regularly and knew exactly how to keep everyone having a great time on the dance floor! I heard so many times that no one has ever seen such a packed dance floor the whole night and how incredible the band was!! I could not recommend them enough!

I always knew I wanted live music at my wedding. Jason Kendall was referred to us by our venue and it was the best decision we made. Jason and his band was so easy to work with. They played acoustic for our ceremony and did a full piece set for our reception. I had a musical vision of what I wanted for our wedding and they far exceeded it. They accommodated everything from Bruno Mars to Van Morrison to Chris Stapleton. We have been married for 4 months now and we still receive compliments on our live entertainment and I think we will for a long time. I would highly recommend Jason Kendall - you won't regret it!

These guys don't live in just one genre; they're perfect to entertain your drunken college friends AND grandparents alike. Music is something that everyone experiences and remembers at your wedding, so find a way to work these guys into your budget! This band ROCKS and it was all everyone was talking about on our wedding night and morning after. They have a great reputation, very professional, loads of experience in weddings & events, their set list is so impressive and growing all the time. Can't say enough good things. Jason has a way of feeling the crowd, doing the right thing at the right time so as to not kill the mood. The flow of the night and timing of speeches, songs and special dances was perfect.

When my husband and I agreed to hire live musicians for our cocktail hour and reception and to emcee the latter, it didn't take us long to decide on Jason Kendall. Members of his family had been big fans of his former band, and I really liked what I heard from his YouTube package, so we hired the jazz trio package. Jason asked for our preferences for our big day, and incorporated all of our requests and then some. Not only did they deliver on the live music, but they were also able to accommodate our requests for a few recorded tracks as well. My mom and dad (both a current and former professional musician and jazz aficionados) were extremely impressed with their musicianship. So was I, of course, but what what folks didn' t see--and what contributes to a 5 star review--was also Jason's flexibility and professionalism when our timeline got slightly off track and we needed to re-arrange and/or cut a few things from the schedule. Thank you for being a part of our big day!

Jason and his team did a wonderful job at our cocktail hour and wedding reception at Phipps Conservatory. He was very easy to work with, and everyone loved this band. The song selection was exactly as we wished, and his performance helped make this a special night. I recommend them without any hesitation.

I don't think words can adequately explain how awesome it was to have Jason Kendall and his band at our wedding at the DoubleTree in Downtown Pittsburgh. We planned our Pittsburgh wedding from Washington State where we live so we heavily relied on The Knot to find our vendors. We decided on Jason Kendall early on and it was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding weekend. He was super easy to work with and was open to pretty much any request that we asked of him and the band. We hired them for an extra hour and added the female singer, which adding her was also a great decision as she absolutely killed it the entire night. They played Marry Me by Train live for our first dance as husband and wife and let me tell you, it was better than Train singing it live. Their rendition of it was just magical. Jason took complete control of the reception as MC and his worksheet that he had us fill out for the schedule of the night made it super easy to plan out the entire reception. We got so many positive comments from our guests about the band. Everyone loved them and our guests danced the night away and were very receptive of the band as they performed. With the guests being so receptive of the band the band in return gave a killer performance the entire night. There was not a point in the night when the entire dance floor was not occupied by our guests. You will NOT be disappointed if you hire Jason Kendall for your event! Very professional and they sound amazing! Would recommend them 11/10!

It’s been 3 months since our wedding and our guests are still ranting and raving about how amazing the band was. Jason Kendall Productions truly made the reception so memorable. All of our guests were on the dance floor the entire evening! We provided a long list of song requests that we had and they implemented those songs into the reception perfectly. Their selections during dinner were appropriate for the mood and volume. Then it came time for dancing, and not one person was in their seat! They are truly talented musicians and each band member brings their own dynamic to the performance. They made our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be! Jason was truly amazing! He played the saxophone with Dj Digital Dave for our cocktail hour and it was absolutely perfect! The Jason Kendall Band was awesome!! We hired the band to play at the reception, and so many guests told us during the party how excellent they were. In addition, we hired Jason and another guitarist to provide music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Truly, they did it all: Jason emceed the evening, put together a playlist for during dinner, played the hora AND the bridal polka, provided sound equipment for the ceremony, and even allowed the groom's father (a drummer) to join for a guest spot during the reception! They played multiple genres and totally kept the party going! We were thrilled with how perfect our ceremony music was too. We talked to Jason in advance of the wedding, said what songs we would like, and the ceremony music truly was exactly like we had imagined it. Plus, they're super nice guys!

Jason Kendall Productions was an absolute keystone to the entire evening of our celebration. The detailed timetable gave the reception structure and order. We provided a long list of song requests in which they implemented perfectly. Their professionalism, kindness, and communication promptness were first class. To top it off, these cats can fuckin’ jam! Each band member is extremely talented and brings their own dynamic to the performance. Their vast repertoire of songs covered a magnitude of genres that suited all preferences. The dance floor had the most incredible energy I had ever experienced at a wedding. Compliments roll in daily about how wonderful the band was and how they added something special to the event. My wife, Brandi, and I couldn’t agree more and can’t thank Jason Kendall Productions enough for a wedding reception of a lifetime.

If you want your wedding to be a dancing wedding hire this band. The dancing portion was pretty much the most important thing to me for my wedding and I am so happy I went with Jason Kendall. I talked to and saw so many local wedding bands in the area and everything felt like a bar mitzvah. I wanted to PARTY and these people weren't cutting it for me. From the time I checked out JK's soundcheck (they were playing Justin Bieber when I walked in) I knew the band could carry out what I wanted. Not to mention Jason is super chill and very accommodating. I wanted what he and my events person kept calling "NY-style" meaning dancing in between dinner events and they pulled it off flawlessly. I hired the additional female singer to round out the sound and she was awesome! If you want to hear current music (with some oldies, but goodies thrown in) and keep your guests dancing HIRE THEM! Thanks Jason!!!!

I couldn't imagine our wedding without Jason and the band - they really set the tone for the whole wedding. The ceremony music (acoustic duo) was perfectly executed - really unique takes on some well known songs. In fact, we had several people ask for a "copy of the [ceremony music] CD". They didn't realize the guitarists were upstairs, out of sight! Similarly, the jazz trio was incredibly polished. Very cool guitar, sax, bass, and drum work. Despite being incredibly busy, my wife and I took time to appreciate the music. The dance band had everyone on the dance floor until the end of the night - from 3 year olds to older folks, everyone was loving it! Their setlist really accommodated all tastes. Lastly, Jason was incredibly helpful and easy to work with during the whole process. We're so thankful that we chose Jason Kendall Productions for our wedding!

Jason was everything you'd want on your wedding day--it all went extremely smoothly without any hitches. He was well-prepared, an excellent announcer, accommodated all of our needs, and even played live saxophone for a bit during our reception dinner. I had no idea he would do so! It was great. He also accommodated a number of special music requests for our reception without any problems. I've been to one too many weddings where you I can't hear the speech-givers, or the mics are cutting out, etc... so it was great that my own wedding was sonically perfect. My wife and I highly recommend him for any DJ services you may need.

Our wedding rocked and it’s all because of these guys!!! From the start Jason was very easy to communicate with and on top of emails! He listened to everything we wanted and had envisioned for our day. They played our ceremony music, cocktail, and reception. They knew exactly what our guests wanted to hear. Everyone raved about how much fun they had and it was all due to them! I would hire them over and over again!!!!

Our family cannot rave enough about how much we enjoyed the music at our wedding in May 2018! We did a combination of live music for the ceremony, followed by a jazz trio during cocktail hour and traditional DJ services during the reception. Each production was absolutely perfect, exactly as we requested. Jason Kendall performed at both mine and my sisters weddings. For both weddings they did an amazing job! All of our guests raved and talked about how much fun they had dancing! A few guests even said that they had never seen a dance floor so full before. My sister and I have different styles, and for each of our weddings, they played songs that suited our personalities. I would work with them again in a heartbeat!

Couldn’t possibly express how amazing Jason Kendall Productions was at our wedding. 3 weeks later and guests are still raving. The band started out our day with an acoustic duo during cocktail hour that sounded absolutely beautiful. During dinner, they played an amazing jazz set, and then turned up the volume for the remainder of the night for the reception. The majority of our guests did not leave the dance floor the entire night. The band did an exceptional job of capturing the exact type of music we wanted played, and chose songs that had the entire crowd excited all night. At one point, Jason came out onto the dance floor for a saxophone solo and it was amazing- they truly are talented musicians that can play anything. I can honestly say this band made our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be, thanks to Jason’s coordination before the wedding, and the bands’ sincere talent. 100% would recommend this band to anyone!!

Wow! What an incredible experience from beginning to end! 1. Jason was extremely responsive to our initial query. He helped us select the perfect package for the evening we had in mind. We opted for piano during the ceremony and a four piece band for the reception. 2. The consultation went very smoothly. I told him I was hoping for very traditional ceremony music and he helped me select the perfect songs. When we told him we wanted some classic music that everyone could enjoy at the reception he was happy to oblige. 3. Everything was set up for the ceremony and reception promptly and he was an excellent communicator throughout this process. 4. The ceremony went perfectly, no hiccups with the music and he played piano so beautifully. The reception was beyond awesome, the guys were so lively and picked the perfect music to get my family dancing (no easy feat!). 5. Jason emceed the night flawlessly, keeping everything organized and the attention focused where it needed to be! When we needed some extra time for greeting tables, Jason seamlessly pushed back the father daughter dances. He was flexible and kept in touch with the groom and I to make sure things were going as they should be! I cannot say enough great things about Jason Kendall productions, and recommend them without hesitation!!

I would like to first say how professional the Jason Kendall band is. They played our wedding back on November 18th and it was nothing short of AWESOME!!! I still get comments about the band from the people who were at the wedding stating how much they enjoyed them and want their information for their weddings coming up. I would also like to share that my father, who has been a musician for over 40+ years RAVED about them personally, professionally and musically. I will end by saying this, you would be hard-pressed to find a better band for your wedding to please both the old school and new school musical tastes. I have a rather large family with a rather BROAD scope of likes and dislikes of music; but not a single person was dissatisfied with the performance from Jason Kendall Productions. Jason and company were great to work with. The band sounded fantastic and they were super accommodating. They added The Refreshments song “Banditos” to their set and learned “Sleepwalk” for our first dance. On top of that, they provided their equipment for me to perform a set with my band and with my father in law as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire live entertainment.

When I think about my favorite things about our wedding this past weekend, Jason Kendall and his band are by FAR in my top 5... they were, simply put, INCREDIBLE. We had the best experience ever, and I'll start from the beginning. My now-husband and I were initially set on having a DJ, but our parents suggested considering a band. We decided we'd meet with one and see how it went, and when we met up with Jason, we just had an instant connection. We LOVED what he had to offer and after we left, we immediately knew we would be booking them. They provided our ceremony music (acoustic duo), our cocktail hour music (jazz trio), and our dinner music (jazz during dinner and dance band). They learned the Jewish/Hebrew songs for the ceremony that we had wanted, put on an amazing live Hora, and kept people on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. We had family and friends from near and far saying that this was the best wedding band they had ever heard (and we felt that way too, but we also know we were biased!) and raved about them all evening. The versatility they have is incredible, but I want to speak to something almost more important than that: these are a GREAT group of guys. My mom, sister, and two friends surprised us with a beautiful, moving performance with the band, and Jason helped them to make that happen. We had no idea! It was amazing. And with all of our interactions, Jason couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He knew the type of music we wanted and the type of party we wanted to have, and communication with him was easy and fun. During the planning process, we went to see Jason and another band member play nearby, and he chatted with us during his break - something he definitely didn't have to do! All this to say: if you hire Jason and his band, you will not just be getting amazing, talented performances all night, but you will be working with some of the kindest and fun people to make your day special. Not enough words can express how much they helped to make our event what it was. Would hire them again in a minute, and we look forward to seeing them play more in the future! I was so incredibly please with the performances that Jason Kendall Band provided that my wedding! They were absolutely amazing!! From the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception they were absolutely wonderful! All of my guests complimented on how wonderful the band is! Wish they could have played longer!!! Jason Kendall and his band were excellent and made our wedding such a memorable night! We are about one month past our wedding and we are still getting compliments from our guests on how great the band was. Jason was so great to work with and was very accommodating in setting up times to meet and also was easy to keep in touch with. He handles himself with great professionalism and is a class act as we were very impressed with his customer service. As for the band, they were just awesome. They played acoustic songs/jazz for our cocktail hour and dinner and then played a mix of top hits/energetic wedding dance songs the rest of the night. Our dance floor was packed all night and they sounded great. Jason was a great MC and was very lively, they also were able to DJ the songs we wanted for our first dance and mother/son father/daughter dances.
