- Jason KentOwner - Wedding DJHi, I’m Jason—DJ and owner of Jason Kent Sound & Lighting. I’ve spent more than 20 years immersed in music and over a decade specializing in weddings, turning unforgettable celebrations into what I do best. Although I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Findlay with a degree in Computer Science, music has always been at the center of my life. Long before weddings became my focus, I was producing tracks, collaborating with local artists, and releasing mixtapes that gained a strong regional following. That journey led to an internship with Toledo’s 92.5 KISS FM, where I created the theme for their “Kramer at Night” show. I’ve opened for major artists including Twista, The Ying Yang Twins, G-Unit, Jadakiss, CeeLo, and Trina, and my music has been featured on stations such as 92.5 KISS FM, 107.3 WJUC, Detroit’s WJLB, and Columbus’ Power 107. I’ve also had the chance to work with standout artists in the studio, including the late DJ Unk (“Walk It Out,” “Two Step”), and later produced the “5 O’Clock Rewind Remix” mixshow for 93.9 KISS FM in Lima with DJ Old Skool. Wedding entertainment is in my blood—my father spent more than 25 years DJing weddings, and I grew up learning the art of reading a room, keeping guests engaged, and creating moments people remember. Today, I blend that foundation with a modern, polished approach: seamless coordination, incredible sound, intentional mixing, and a focus on making your reception run smoothly so you can truly enjoy your night. I’m proud of the team standing with me. Each DJ I bring on isn’t just talented—they’re people I’ve known personally for years and artists I admire. I only work with DJs whose skill pushes me to be better, which means you get a level of professionalism and performance I’m confident you'll love. My goal is simple: deliver an elevated, stress-free experience where the music feels personal, the transitions are flawless, and your dance floor stays full from start to finish.
