I am also a licensed Justice of the Peace in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and ordained minister for the Universal Life Church. Jason Mello Digital DJ & Uplighting located in New Bedford, Massachusetts, is a professional entertainment company that was featured on TLC’s "Four Weddings." He works with couples individually to meet their entertainment needs, whether it includes music, lighting or choosing that perfect Monogram. Jason is also a licensed Justice of the Peace in the Commonweath of Massachusetts.

Jason Mello Digital DJ & Uplighting holds a consultation up front, and then a month before the wedding sits down with each couple to review any last-minute details.When you choose Jason as your DJ you will receive your login credentials to his personalized wedding planning app called Vibo. You will plan everything from your timeline, formalities, introductions and music!This can be done right from you're phone in the palm of your hand.!Vibo even has music suggestions if you need help in choosing your ceremony music or that perfect first dance song!For DJ services, he plays a vast array of genres including Christian, country, electronic, EDM, hip-hop, international, jazz, oldies, pop, R&B/soul, rock, and top 40. Couples can create their own playlist and do-not-play list that he will adhere to by using his App. Jason will also serve as the master of ceremonies during the wedding reception. Other than music, he also can provide uplighting, a seperate sound/PA system for ceremonies, flat screens and wireless microphones. Couples can customize their wedding entertainment with Jason at any budget.

Jason was easy to get hold of any time I had a question. During the reception he played great music and kept the dance floor going the whole night. He worked well with other vendors on things like microphone set up and other details. We gave him our music in advance through an app so there were no questions as to what would be played. We actually ended up running out of pre-planned music, but Jason saw that the vibe was still going strong, so he stayed a bit later and played music that was in line with our taste. ing we knew we made the right choice, he's so easy to work with and VERY quick to respond to any questions or concerns that you might have. It's obvious that he invests a lot of time and money into his equipment and technology, all of his musical equipment and lighting is top of the line. We were also one of his first clients to use the Vibo app to communicate and organize our music selection. This made it super convenient to select our music from the very start of the ceremony all the way through cocktail hour, introductions, first dances, etc. All the changes we made updated in real time for Jason to see.
As for the reception itself, Jason absolutely ROCKED. He has his finger on the pulse of the entire event and knows just when to slow things down or speed things up and get people dancing. He even came out on the dance floor for a few songs to show off some moves of his own! He was extremely affordable and I would recommend his services to anybody for ANY type of event.

Jason's strongest qualities are his ability to maintain an "off-to-the-side" but vibrant presence. He DJ'd at a friend's wedding two years before ours and we loved his ability to "keep the party going" while not taking over the show. Some DJs can be excessive, overbearing, or cheesy. Jason is none of these things. He handles and adapts to the crowd, plays songs at the right time, and absolutely kills it.
