in a barn in a small town in the middle of the NY countryside, and he was there to walk us through every step of the way and catch details we may otherwise have missed. He solved problems before we even knew they existed, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. Needless to say the day of went flawlessly, in large part thanks to Jason. He's smart, quick on his feet, has impeccable attention to detail, and is a true original. But most of all he's a great guy, and someone we were thrilled to invite into one of the most special and joyous days of our lives :)

g up, my husband and I never really considered the thought that having a wedding would be an option. And looking back, I believe that’s why we had such a hard time sorting through our array of ideas – because it wasn’t something we individually had planned all our lives as most people do. So when we finally had the opportunity to partake in this extraordinarily special tradition, we were overwhelmed – first with joy, but secondly with loss as to what we should/needed to do. We both started doing initial planning steps, thinking we were doing what was right by checking those “to-do” lists. Then my husband and I sat down and realized, our lists kept growing because were so excited by what was possible versus what was important. I immediately went onto The Knot and began researching planners – specifically who knew how to help find a couple’s voices and help provide the melody to it. , That’s what Jason did. Luckily I stumbled upon Jason whose resume of events and clientele alone was impressive. I wasn’t sure what to expect from someone who had the high experience that he had and was worried our ideas would be too cluttered. However, in true fashion, Jason came in and helped calm our fears. From our initial meeting, there was an ease that Jason provided. He let us exhale, and just be. We knew he was the right one. That immediately set the tone for how Jason managed the process. Jason provided sage advice, helped us muddle through the specificities that only a seasoned planner would know, was a stern defense when dealing with vendors (and trust me, Jason did that in spades and saved the day), and ultimately provided us the level of project management and style guidance that compares to none. Most importantly, he was with us EVERY STEP of the way – highlighting things we should appreciate, challenging us to review and make decisions with all the information possible, and helping us focus and circle back to what we really want. That’s something that only a season professional could provide. It would be easy to say we got everything we wanted, but with Jason, it was even more special because “we got everything we needed that we didn’t know we needed”. Jason provided a dimple and a wink to every finishing touch, kept the event on brand for us, and ensured us a storybook ending that could only be seen in movie musicals (which by the way, Jason literally ended our evening with a surprise serenade from my favorite musical as we ended the evening – I mean… come on… talk about attention to detail). Thanks Jason for providing a special sparkle to our special day. We hope to work with Jason on more of our family’s future events in the future because the level of service and impeccable taste are beyond measure.

ng and the cost. Now, I rarely say this, but I was 100% wrong. JMK really mad it easy, painless, and figured out ways to cut costs without sacrificing quality and fun! He was there at every step of the way and made it actually fun to ideate and discuss options. During the planning stages, I really didn’t feel like I did anything and JMK was just going to throw the wedding he wanted, but EVERYONE said how “me” my wedding was. He just got me and my, now, husband and created an extremely personal and magical night that I’ll never forget. Somehow (I’m gonna say witchcraft!) JMK was able to pick up on everything that I would share with him and translate that to an amazing moment or little touch in the decorations. At the wedding itself, he was never two steps away, but was never intrusive…he was there to hold our hands, or slink away into the shadows to let us have so many amazing moments for us. We couldn’t have done this without him and can’t sing his praises loud enough. You would do yourself a big favor to hire him for your wedding or really, any event that needs a exceptional touch.

When we walked into our wedding venue the day of our wedding, it was -- quite literally -- exactly what we were hoping for. Beyond concept, Jason and his team handled our team of vendors with ease, managed an unexpected and moderately severe last-minute issue with grace, and were extremely effective in stage managing the actual wedding weekend. We were free to spend the entire weekend with family and friends, confident the show would go off well. This is particularly true for the wedding itself. Throughout the night, Jason dispensed valuable wisdom, wrangled family, guests, and vendors, and kept us on schedule (and hydrated!). It's also worth noting that we never felt pushed to increase the budget, nor directed towards a particular vendor. Jason is up front about relationships he has with vendors during the selection process, which we felt were often key in helping to make our (and his) vision reality. In an industry designed to take advantage of wide-eyed grooms, he was entirely above board and a critical resource. Jason is also a dream to work with on a personal level. We could not be happier with our decision to trust him and his team with our wedding.

. He was the perfect mixture of spreadsheets, schedules and facts that my fiancé needed and fun energy that I was looking for (after all shouldn’t planning your wedding be FUN!) Jason helped find amazing vendors who were all talented and very fair in pricing. He was the prefect middle man between us and them and navigated any tricky or sticky issue with tact. He helped us create a wonderful experience for both us and our wedding guests for the entire weekend. There wasn’t one time he said no to anything we threw at him and he always had helpful ideas, insights and suggestions. Most importantly day of he was poised, uber professional and calm, which helped keep the day relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. So many of our guests came up to share how impressed they were with him. My main goal going into my wedding was that I wanted to leave feeling like I had the best day of my life, and by working with Jason I did just that. He helped me bring my dream picture of that day to life and then gave me the confidence to relax and enjoy it because I knew it was all being ran by the best possible hands! It was the best day ever! He is a must work with!

Edward (my husband) and I were completely intimidated about tackling such an intricate and emotional event and doing it well. It was the most important day of our lives so far, and the idea of handling everything ourselves was just too much. We asked for recommendations from friends and family, and was given Jason’s information from someone very close to us. We looked into a few options, but once we contacted him, we knew right away that we had a match. What we really appreciated is that there was absolutely no pressure from him to go with him. He told us he wanted our wedding to be perfect and that if we found someone that was a better fit that he would be excited for us. We felt that was very rare. He sat down with us in person, got to know us a bit, and then put together a game plan and quote free of charge. He was very affordable and made us confident that he could work with our budget and do it well. That, mixed with his upbeat and confident energy made us feel like we were in good hands. The thing that Edward and I were the most intimidated by was just how many different things we had to keep in mind, and how to plan everything in terms of timing. Jason took this fear away completely by giving us a detailed list of things we had to do, and when to do them. We were able to let go of the anxiety and just check things off the list. When we had questions, he answered them promptly. He checked in with us regularly, and cheered us on the whole time. The final month before the wedding was a lot of work, and we could not have done it without Jason. In planning, there are bound to be snags, and he handled them gracefully and quickly. The biggest thing that happened (and this was HUGE) was that the restaurant we were working with to cater ended up dropping the ball big time and cancelling on us two days before the wedding! Edward and I were of course completely freaked out, but Jason dealt with it like a superhero. Within hours, he had found another restaurant with a similar menu, negotiated everything, and had us with food that was perfect, and that all our guests loved. We were beyond grateful to have him save us like that! Once everything was together and lined up for the event, it was time for the big day, and I am not exaggerating in that it was PERFECT. He ran rehearsals, showed up early the day of to organize and decorate, he had created beautiful signs and menus for us, and then ran the ceremony/rehearsal seamlessly. He took care of the two of us, and made sure that we weren’t doing too much, which we really appreciated. He dealt with small issues without us even knowing they existed. Amazing. And after it was all said and done, he called us the next day to check in and see how we were feeling about the experience. Jason is a true professional who will handle your special day with care, creativity, and a fun demeanor. He has moved past the status of wedding planner and become a good friend. We loved having him with us for this journey, and know that you will too. More than 5 stars for this guy!!

I could go on about how flawlessly he executes a party, how he handles all of your vendors and fixes all of the potential mishaps before they even arise (or after they arise), but I think what truly sets Jason apart is who he is as a person. He is kind, understanding and gentle, while still being authoritative. The weeks leading to your wedding day (and the day itself) are so overwhelming. Having Jason's knowledge as well as his calming energy around us, frankly, kept us sane while also giving us the most personal and perfect wedding we could've hoped for. We would recommend him over and over again!

planner, but due to some changes in staffing a few months before our event, a lot of the details fell by the wayside and we were left to pick up the slack, which turned out to be too much work for us to do on our own. Then Jason came in and very quickly and efficiently put the pieces back together. He spent time listening to us and used his expertise to help us refine our vision for the day including how the ceremony would flow. He worked on programs and other printed materials and gave us some wonderful decorating ideas we hadn’t considered, which took everything to the next level. Then, on the day of the event, he coordinated all aspects to make sure that the flowers were in place, that the caterer was ready go, that the DJ was settled, that the ceremony got started on time, that the guests were able to get to the reception easily, that the family photos were organized, and most of all – that the two of us got to enjoy our special day! We didn’t have to delegate or worry at all about whether something would get done; Jason was able to anticipate our needs and seamlessly took care of everything. Our wedding is something that our friends and family still talk about as one of the best receptions they ever attended, and Jason was a crucial part of making the weekend a real success!

He has a wealth of resources and talent to wok with that created the perfect wedding: photographer, Florist, musicians, all perfection and so professional! ho knows the timeline like the back of his hand, anticipates problems before they arise, and has the creative instinct to add those special touches that make the day extra special. His experience really showed when dealing with our event space which was beautiful and historic but also accustomed to doing things a certain way. He managed to convince them to use the space differently than usual allowing us to maximize space and maintain an upbeat pace. He was charming but firm and knew all the right requests to make so that the menu and service were perfectly customized to suit us. On the day of our wedding, everything went so smoothly that we even got compliments on the flow of events! Jason was on top of every little detail. Someone's making a toast and forgot their drink? There's Jason with a new glass before they even realize they need it. He was like that the whole day. He kept us right on schedule, made sure my husband and I took time to eat, and dealt quickly and quietly with any issues that arose. Our wedding was a dream come true - elegant, tons of fun, and simply perfect. I cannot imagine having done it without Jason!

r the menus & program cards, he gave great suggestions & planning tips, communication via email or calls were quick & easy, and he'd check in with me from time to time to make sure I wasn't too overwhelmed & to see if I needed any help. I'd also recommend getting his book "Getting Groomed" which I used quite often as a reference guide. I'm pretty skilled at throwing large scaled parties, but he even thought of things that didn't occur to me which were a tremendous help. He had suggested that after the ceremony my husband and I get away from everyone for some quality alone time to let the event just sink in. Jason was so thoughtful that he came into the room with 2 waiters with champagne, water, and food from the cocktail reception to make sure we had food & drink to enjoy while together. Throughout the day, he helped set up, prep, & organize the entire wedding & venue which was held in 5 different rooms in a 3 story mansion. He handled the photographer, videographer, band, caterer & waitstaff, DJ, photo booth, and guests all with effortless ease which helped give me peace of mind to enjoy my special day stress-free. You only have 1 shot for the perfect evening, so having Jason by your side is hands down the way to go! I HIGHLY recommend him & can't thank him enough for making my dream wedding come true!!!
