We booked Jason to play our wedding ceremony and cocktail Hour. He was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend him! He is very friendly, professional and communication was top notch. The music was the most important part of my wedding and Jason did not disappoint! The first communication I had with him was through FaceTime and I was sold immediately. He was great at keeping up with the commutation, whether it was to answer my many questions and put my mind at ease or to help make suggestions with other ideas on how we could do things (which he did for the reception and it ended up being the perfect change up). My husband said Jason definitely classed up our wedding and I couldn't agree more!

Jason and Blake did a fantastic job at our wedding! They were professional and fun. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and the reception the music was spot on! They read the room and kept the dance floor packed the entire night. They were great to work with and very communicative. I would absolutely hire them again, without a doubt and in a second!

Scroll no further. You’ve come to the right spot! My husband and I were in search of someone who could DJ for our wedding reception and also play live music for our welcome party and ceremony. Jason played for us at our October wedding in Lake Tahoe and was absolutely incredible! He played guitar/vocals for our welcome party and ceremony, DJ and also tambourine to the DJ’d music throughout the wedding night. A great addition was having Blake Cross join him for the weekend on Saxophone and DJ. A team of talent like no other. The nights wouldn’t have been the same without Jason and Blake. Months later our guests are still talking about this guitar/saxophone duo! They have what it takes to get your guests out on the dance floor! Not only did they bring the FUN but they are also the most kind people. Jason and Blake paid great attention to detail to our song requests and desired flow of the night. We appreciated the communication leading up to the event through phone call and email making sure we were all on the same page and organized. Don’t sleep on booking Jason Powers Music for your wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, welcome party or all three events! We did for ours and we regret nothing! Thank you Jason & Blake!

Jason is amazing! He worked with our wedding planner and us through the entire planning experience and took so much pressure off the music aspect. We had 3 different setups at the venue where we wanted music (ceremony, cocktails and reception) and he accommodated each one. We also had specific requests for certain songs and he took the time to learn the ones he didn't know. This was really important to us so having someone that was there and open to our ideas was super helpful! Having live music vs. a DJ put that extra special touch on the evening. We received so many compliments from our guests and would hire Jason for any event because his skills able him to adapt in any environment. Absolutely recommend!

We booked Jason Powers for our wedding and it was the best decision ever! He brought the perfect combination of heart and energy to our special day. He really took care and time listening to our wants/needs for the ceremony and reception while offering great suggestions on how to make the elements flow for not only us, but our guests. We loved his quick correspondence, endless song choices, and professional understanding of weddings in general (what works and what doesn't). He made us feel supported and so loved in our process, Can't recommend him enough!

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Jason draws inspiration from a wide variety of genres, from folk to pop to funk and rock. His residencies as a musician include The Ritz-Carlton, W Hotels, Kimpton Hotels, as well as numerous celebrity and large corporate events throughout the US and internationally. When it comes to performing events, Jason is a trusted and welcomed energy in the sometimes stressful landscape of wedding planning. He is comfortable performing under pressure and truly cares for his clients.
