Jasper Hotel invites couples to start their day getting ready from the comfort of their on-site dressing rooms. Here you can set up your beauty station and apply finishing touches to your outfit before making your way down the aisle. You can host your ceremony and reception in the elegant Continental Ballroom with up to 250 seated guests. This bright, airy space features floor-to-ceiling windows, luxurious drapes, plush carpets, and sparkling chandeliers. The flexible floor plan allows for a range of chair and table configurations, and the neutral color scheme offers the opportunity to personalize your decor. You can take advantage of their beautiful outdoor terrace for cocktail hour, soaking up stunning views of Fargo and the Plains beyond. After a magical evening of dining and entertainment, you can retreat to their luxurious overnight suites with Frette linens and plush robes for a pampering rest.

The room was nice, it had the views, the beds were comfortable, everything appeared clean. However, one of the bedside lamps was missing a knob, there is no coffee pot or kettle to make tea. I went down to the desk and I was able to purchase tw...
o cups of hot water and two tea bags for $6+. For as much as this room cost per night, having a small creature comfort like a hot beverage in your room doesn’t seem like a tall ask. I also hated the sliding door to the bathroom. It doesn’t create a seal, so privacy was infringed upon. I was sharing a room with my Dad and I felt uncomfortable using the facilities. Probably the most egregious thing that happened during my stay was the room filled with the smell of rotten eggs around 10pm. I went into the hallway and the same. So, I went to the reception desk to complain and change rooms. The woman said this has happened before and it usually goes away. She didn’t have another double queen bedroom but a room with a king and a couch. We went to check it out and it smelled like rotten eggs as well. We both smelled it and even passed another guest in the hallway that commented it smelled like dog poop. I didn’t change rooms, because why change one stinky room for another. I felt very concerned about sewer gas or natural gas. I returned to my room and the smell was gone. I reluctantly went to bed a bit stressed out. This is a problem that would keep me from ever returning to this hotel.

Our stay in Aug 2024 was great, until our departure. We left a couple clothing items in the wardrobe and AirPods on the nightstand. We called four times to check on the status of the items left behind. We never received a call back from the man...
ager. Yes, it was our fault for forgetting those things and we own that. We tracked the AirPods through the hotel for two days and around the Fargo area for several days after our check out. Again, our stay was great, but the customer service and lack of follow-up after check-out was disappointing, to say the least. We like to stay in downtown Fargo. I do not plan to stay at the Jasper again and would not recommend this hotel.
