Miss Christy Whitehead is not only a life saver but a memory savor! It did not take me long to realize how much work goes into planning every last detail of a wedding and be overwhelmed. OMG!
Miss Christy came highly recommended to me for ...her impeccable previous work with others' weddings and i swear she saved my life. From the beginning, Miss Christy was a blessing. I hired her because she truly has a gifted with the camera! She is very skilled with the different lenses, carries quality equipment, has an assistant, and redundancy built into her package as a safety, insurance measure! She is quite knowledgeable with the Photoshop work and will use it when necessary to accent her pictures; although, her photographs can stand alone! Miss Christy has the rare understanding of children’s photography so when she applies her artistic eye to weddings; you not only get elegant formal pictures but innocent, honest, pure actions pictures. She knows every phase of a wedding by heart and works quietly amongst the crowd to capture moments from each phase. Still to make sure you are completely satisfied, she asks you to fill out a survey so there is no question you are getting the memories you want. As photographers go, Miss Christy is just the sort of experience you need to take one worry off the brides mind. She knows what you want, even knows what you don't even know you want; albeit, she never pushes, just offers suggestions like a tour guide. If that is not enough, Miss Christy has many wonderful contacts to other equally talented and amazing vendor in the wedding business. She knew my make-up artist, Jill Scott with Ruthless Beauty. She introduced me to my hairstylist, Alina Bell at ACF Studio in Riverside who specializes in 1940’s vintage up do’s. Consequently, who is married to our fabulous wedding dance instructor, James Bell. We could not have asked for a better team.
But that is not all. Miss Christy got her name, Memory Saver because she captured those moments not even I, the Bride could remember from my wedding day. Everyone told me, the day of your wedding goes sooo fast. Things are going to happen you will not like but so long as you are beautiful and your husband shows up just roll with it. Listen, I have social anxiety and my family drives me crazy! All I remember of my wedding is getting dressed, and lots of intense overwhelming emotions. I was both extremely excited and majorly nervous at the same time. I was at the very top of a roller coaster ride taking off on high speed and never slowed down which can be disorienting if you are not accustomed to the theater. Still I had no perspective. I was on and happy but I could not figure anyone else out. Christy lent me her artistic eye’s for the evening. And thru her eyes, she painted a story of two people really in love and surrounded by joy, laughter, and happy tears from family and friends at play. Maybe I am a poor Bride and other Brides remember perfectly. But if you are like me, go with Christy! She is worth her weight in gold! She will save your memories so when you are old, it can be told: “I had the wedding of my dreams and here are the pictures to prove it.”
