When I met Jay, I thought his photography was stunning - clearly a talented photographer with a unique eye. He saved my fiance and me from having to talk to yet another photographer. Luckily for me, Jay is also part wizard and somehow was able to produce some amazing engagement photos for us. Our all day adventure included three extremely unique locations, multiple wardrobe changes, and unique props like photography smoke! PROFESSIONAL - Jay had a clear vision, which was great because I certainly didn’t. He took our vague ideas and made them real life awesome. PATIENT - Jay was always ready for another shot, no matter how many times i closed my eyes at the wrong moment. And he was always open to any spur of the moment, spontaneous ideas that came up. ACCOMMODATING - Jay was nice enough to do all the driving (he has awesome taste in music) and kept the atmosphere adventurous and fun the entire day. Best of all, in addition to the incredible photography, we got a tremendous experience that we consider as special as the photos themselves. I can see myself working with Jay in the future for any big events that needs the perfect photographer. I highly recommend hanging out with Jay. My fiancé and I wanted an engagement photographer who could be direct and take charge since neither of us know anything about photography. But at the same time, a photographer whose talent and experience could deliver our unarticulated, unrealized goal that at the time could only be described as, “unique, original, non-traditional and outside the box.” Our search for an engagement photographer was exhausting. We attended multiple bridal bizarre functions, spent countless hours searching online and interviewed dozens of photographers. We were very pleased to have Jay as our photographer for our special day and can definitely say he was our favorite vendor to work with! Much more than just our photographer for the day, he was able to capture beautiful shots without drawing the whole process out, allowing my husband and I to focus on actually enjoying our wedding day! Ensuring to maximize the time we had set aside for photos, he also let us know of small opportunities he saw for other photos throughout the day. We are so happy that we chose to go with Jay for our engagement/wedding photos! My fiance (husband now) usually hates taking photos but Jay captured the most perfect photos. We loved that some of the photos that he took were very creative and original. He's professional, very easy to work with and will try his best to get the best shot according to your preferences. Jay was simply the best we could have asked for. After meeting with several photographers, my husband and I felt he was the only one who would really go the extra mile to capture his images. We were absolutely correct! My husband and I are always so awkward in pictures, and that was one of my biggest worries about our wedding photos. Looking for a photographer was a huge headache for us. We had specific expectations that we were worried wouldn't fit into our budget. We found Jay and expressed our wants and worries.
