Okay, they were my deb band, they did my sister's wedding, they did my parents anniversary party. So; when I got engaged, I called J. Sterling Music. And again, they didn't disappoint. They are always a rocking party for every party we have had them. THANKS J. Sterling!

Got the e-mail reminder to write a review about my wedding reception. You were all so wonderful to work with. From the office staff to the night of the reception. My parents and my groom were so pleased. My groom's family came from New York and they all danced and danced. Thank you for making my reception so much fun.

They were awesome! Music and food were SO important to me. The music went way beyond my expectations. I first saw them at a friend's wedding 2 years ago and kept their card just in case. Good thing I did as I was engaged within 8 months. I have since given their number to many people!

These guys totally rock! They told me that I would have a blast at my own party and we did! We didn't want it to end. The DJ that came with the band was great, as well! The band played all the music that my friends and I LOVE to dance to. I would recommend them to anyone!

When I heard this band at my best friend’s wedding in LA, I just HAD to have them. They came to our destination wedding in New Orleans. Wow! I mean, Wow! They packed the dance floor all night! Current songs and Classics. And they even included a DJ. I couldn’t have asked for more. My day. My band. I loved it!

We hired a 7 piece band plus 2 singers from Jay Sterling. In our emails they had mentioned that the band would play nonstop for 5 hours, meaning that half the band would take a break at a time, leaving the other 3 pieces and singer to still sing. They didn't do that, and took a break for 30 minutes to an hour. They sent a list of songs they knew, and I took about 20% of them and divided them into a favorites and not favorites list. (not quite a play and don't play list, but almost the same thing) They completely ignored it and said they had to play the songs on the not favorite list. They did not play one song from the favorites list. And mind you, I created this list based on the songs they sent me!!!!! They refused to play any songs requested on that night. Our group ranged in age from 30 - 70 year olds and they definitely catered to the older part of the crowd. Which was unfortunate because older crowd doesn't want to stay out late! and the younger crowd that would want to stay out late and continue the celebration were bored with the music. It would have been nice if they played a mix of music, including songs from the 80s and 90s, maybe once every 4th or 5th song, or at least played songs from 80s and 90s and present, towards the end of the evening.. when the older crowd was gone. In fact we aren't asking for crazy rock songs, we were asking for classic popular songs that were on their list, and that the older crowd probably would have liked! I definitely wouldn't recommend them, unless you're in the over 50 age range.

OFF THE CHARTS! everyone raved over them... they put on the best show and the dance floor was hoppin all night... worth every penny! we were busy doling out their name / info b/c everyone there wanted to use them for their weddings...

;I gave a complete list of songs that I wanted the band to play.. they hardly played any from the list, and instead, played mainly songs from the 60's, which I can't stand. When a guest requested they play a song which was supposed to be the Father/Daughter song, they played it as opposed to denying the request... so I had to run up to the stage to have them quickly play a different song. They should have known better.

They did a good job for what they do. Almost everyone at my reception was up and dancing.;We also hired a dj, the band would only learn two extra songs not on their song list. I think they worked better for my parent's crowd than mine.

They played very well the old standards and swing songs on 17 pieces of instruments. A vocalist was included. They sound awesome!

Great cover on songs;If you have a particular song you want them to play, stress it because I guess I didn't stress one of the songs I wanted played enough and they didn't play it!!

We got the name of the band from Ms Kelly Sweeney who worked at the Hyatt Newporter, she told us that the band was excellent. Me and my husband had gone to a party they were playing at to hear them. As soon as we heard them we knew that they were going to be the band for us. They actually sound like who they perform.
