eautiful (which is why I have selected 2 stars), but everything on the business end was a disaster. It started when she cancelled our engagement shoot with little notice and denied our request to simply add an hour to the wedding photography time, even though the1-hour engagement shoot was considered to be part of the package we purchased. But that was just the start. In addition to being extremely unresponsive by email in the weeks leading up to our wedding, she sent us a form asking for a detailed list of the pictures we wanted, who we wanted in them, etc. We filled it out completely and included a number of pictures with extended family. We had purchased a more expensive package that included a second photographer, and the form asked for the address of both the bride and groom’s getting-ready locations, so that both groups could be photographed. I included the address of both locations in the form, which was submitted weeks before the wedding. When she and her second photographer showed up, they only had one car and at the last minute said that they wouldn’t be able to photograph my husband and friends getting ready because of transportation. They clearly could have planned around or provided notice of this limitation when I submitted my form, but only seemed to start figuring this out upon arrival. In the end, not a single photo was taken of my husband or his groomsmen prior to the wedding. Everything else at the wedding went more or less fine. She sent as a batch of 300 photos in the weeks following the wedding, but missing from these photos were any of the photos of extended family we requested or many photos that we saw her and her second photographer taking at the reception. We emailed her only a few hours after receiving the photos, and politely asked if she could look for additional pictures of our guests and send them along. This was in early October. It took over SIX MONTHS for her to respond to the request, after many follow-up emails. Finally, six months later, she replied and said that no other photos existed. Multiple people (including me, my husband, our parents and multiple friends) saw she and her assistant photographing tables, guests, posed pictures – we know these photos were taken. I assume that she deleted contents of the memory card and just did not want to admit this to us. Frankly, I would have preferred honesty rather than waiting for months on end, holding out hope and delaying the creation of photo albums, etc., only to receive an extremely disappointing and dishonest response. Bottom line, Jazmine Rubio is exceedingly unprofessional. As I said initially, the photos she took and did provide to us were beautiful, but for a $3,400 investment, I would absolutely not recommend Jazmine Rubio Photography.
