Having studied audio production at Ithaca College, I served as the music director and on air talent for 92 WICB, one of the most prestigious college radio stations in the country. Justin was amazing from the beginning! His communication was top-notch, he made sure everything was perfect with my song choices and went out of his way to ensure we were on the same page throughout the entire process. He was not only super fun to work with but he really knows how to get the party started! His ability to mix all genres was impressive and kept everyone on their feet the whole time! The energy was unmatched and the experience couldn’t have been better! I highly recommend JB party sounds for your next event!

We were fortunate enough to hire Justin for our August 2024 wedding. Hiring Justin as our DJ was one of the first things that we were able to check off of our long list of wedding planning to dos. We knew from his personality and professionalism after our first couple phone calls that he was the perfect fit. Throughout the process he checked in when needed. He has a couples questionnaire that he has you fill out which helped me (being a procrastinator/bad planner) figure out small details and feel more organized. Fast forward to the day of our wedding, amongst all the craziness Justin made us feel secure and confident that he would help make our day so special and he did just that. We threw him some curveballs regarding order of events and he didn’t flinch. He was also great at keeping things in the timeline we needed for things to run smoothly. The day after the wedding, I had so many guests share that he was one of the best DJs they’d seen at a wedding and not only that but that he was so kind. I told Justin beforehand that our wedding guests would most likely be on the dance floor for a majority of the night, I’m not sure if he believed me at the time but our guests did not disappoint and nor did Justin. We gave Justin a playlist of songs and he somehow chose the most perfect songs and played them at the best times. He kept the night alive until the very end! I would recommend Justin to all. Oh and a most important BONUS: he has the most perfect DJ voice!!!

Justin did an amazing job from the moment we booked him til after he packed up his equipment for the night. He kept us on track with detail meetings, and wasn't afraid or too busy to reach out to clarify any questions- as a busy bride this meant the world knowing he was on top of all our requests and schedules, giving us a lot of peace of mind.
Justin's voice is perfect for MCing, he is commanding of the room but approachable and super friendly for our guests. He got so many compliments from our friends and family. He made sure to pronounce everyone's names correctly and played all the songs we requested while also making sure to keep the crowd going.
One of the biggest things we appreciated about Justin's service was his attention to volume. At no point was the music too loud, or too quiet. He was very good at adjusting the volume based on the vibe of the room. We have been to some weddings / shows that have terrible mixing and it just hurts your ears after a while. Justin's mixing was excellent, we are super thankful.
We did not stop dancing the entire night - Justin was a huge part of our wedding, from music, mics at the ceremony, and awesome lighting effects on the dancefloor, and we would book him again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Justin for your superb music taste, professionalism and friendly attitude!!

Justin at JB Party Sounds was an excellent DJ for our wedding. He made sure to curate his mix to reflect our tastes in music (90s - 2000s jams all the way), while still gauging the crowd and what music they were responding to.
Justin paid attention to the details and helped to keep our wedding moving. We are appreciative of him and his work!

Justin at JB Party Sounds was an absolute delight to work with! He was our DJ at our wedding and we couldn't recommend him more, he made the planning process really easy, he always made sure it was okay with us as the couple for any song requests, his way of engaging with the crowd and seeing the different dynamics of people to ensure everyone had a good time was absolutely impeccable. We had several compliments on him as our DJ with our older crowd, younger crowd and even the different vendors! Justin truly did not disappoint and I would highly recommend him for your event!

Justin is an incredible events DJ and was such a positive addition to our wedding day. He is super kind, organized, and experienced when it comes to events. He helped fill in the gaps for any questions we had around announcements, timing, and music for our big day - and overall just gave us a decent amount of autonomy when it came to choosing music. He was such a pleasure to work with and was a great energy to have on such a special night for us! Can't recommend JB Party Sounds enough.

We found Justin of JB Party Sounds by happenstance when looking for a DJ for our wedding. We knew he would bring a great presence to the mic when we learned that he’d spent time as on-air talent for one of his college’s radio stations.
Working with Justin could not have been easier. We had a few calls in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding, where he laid things out for us and made it easy to list out all the audio needs. The audio setup was flawless for the ceremony so all could hear, even though we had close to 150 guests. He responded expertly to the energy of our guests during the reception and played songs requested by us prior to the day and mixing in popular songs that kept everyone moving.

Justin was absolutely fantastic! He followed our requests so perfectly and kept everyone dancing. He is very professional and put all of my worries at ease. Multiple guests approched us after the wedding to comment on how blown away they were at his skills to play music but also MC. His energy helped guests find their energy through 95° heat! Thank you for being so fabulous Justin! We would reccomend you to any other couple looking to dance, have fun and have their worries taken care of!

Justin was absolutely amazing. I 100% recommend. I did not have a planner for my wedding so Justin went above and beyond. Whether it was having a few meetings to go over details, sending over information to the venue, working with me on the day of to add in some spontaneous ideas, Justin was ready to hop right in and embrace it with open arms. He did such a good job at being personable that I had all of my family members asking if he was a friend of mine. Justin you were an absolute pleasure to have be apart of our special day. You did your job beautifully and perfectly!!

JB party sounds, the owner justin was the best for our perfect day! He is easy to keep in contact with if you have any questions; he answers back quickly. The pricing is very affordable! You get a great choice of sounds to choose from for any moment during that day! Not only was the music appropriate but he kept all of the guests on their feet while dancing! Justin was amazing to work with! We even emailed him the day before to change up some things during the ceremony and he handled it so smoothly. Justin nailed the timing of the music during the ceremony and all the transitions were seamless. Everything went perfectly and everyone had an amazing time. The venue had to turn the lights on so that we all stopped dancing! Our friends even commented that they wanted to take a break from dancing but couldn't because after one great song ended, another great song would start. Justin was also great about keeping us on track of our timeline throughout the night without being intrusive or interrupting. I would highly recommend working with JB Party Sounds!

Justin did an amazing job during the whole process of planning our wedding. He was great at communicating with us and the other vendors throughout. He provided us with a schedule for our reception as well and worked with us to help plan for a smooth reception and make adjustments as needed for our special day The sound equipment was great along with lights used at the reception venue. He was very personable with guests (as much as he could be with COVID). I would highly recommend JB Party Sounds to anyone planning a wedding, Justin is great and is very affordable
