During his career, he also served as DJ Manager at Allstar DJ Service under the leadership of DJ Sir Thurl. His passion for deejaying was sparked by listening to radio mix shows and DJs’ smooth transitions between songs, particularly DJ Kut, who became his mentor. DJ Jay C started his career by assisting DJ Kut, carrying records, and setting up equipment, eventually developing into a seasoned DJ himself.
