Jessica did an amazing job on our wedding day. She was extremely professional, communicative, and assisted me with trying different hairstyles when I couldn’t figure out what I wanted. We got married during a tropical storm with 98% humidity, and my hair held up the entire day! She did a great job as well on my maid of honor, mother, and flower girl. Jessica did an amazing job with my hair, my sisters' hair, and my mom's hair! We have different hair textures, and my mom and I have very curly hair. I was nervous about finding a hair stylist who knew how to work with curly hair and make sure it looked good all day. I got the most compliments on my hair the whole day!! I wish I could wear my hair like that all the time--it was so beautiful. And it lasted all day, even through the after party. I can't say enough good things about Jessica!

When looking for a hair stylist, I was very nervous because the state of my hair was not great, as it was thinning due to extreme stress unrelated to the wedding. I had waited to book anyone because I was honestly embarrassed by the state of my hair. When doing my trial run with May, my fears were immediately put at ease. At the time, I didn’t have my long-term hair extensions so she styled the clip-in ones I brought in a half up/half down style and it looked great! I also thought she was calm and very easy to talk to. I had no doubt after the trial that I wanted May for our wedding. By the time of the wedding, I ended up getting a different type of extension sewn in and the state of my real hair was even worse than before. It was more difficult to style and harder to hide the problem areas due to the hair loss. May was able to still pull off the half updo and blended my real hair with the extensions, while also creating a twist in the back, which she secured beautifully with my orange blossom clips. It stayed put all night and looked great. Everyone else in our party who had their hair done loved how it turned out and thought May and Christine were talented, super friendly, and easy to talk to. From beginning (booking) to fabulous ending JC Hair Design was great! Kristen easily captured what my vision was during my hair trial. Then she was able to replicate that with added extensions on the big day (8/10/24). I could just relax & let her work her magic. She also was able to do my nieces’ & friend’s hair so beautifully. My hair lasted the whole day with some outside hot/humid shots & so much dancing that night … even the curls were there thru the next day. THANK YOU!!

JC Hair Design is a great option for northern NJ brides! Had a consultation with Ashley back in December to get the vision for my July wedding. Everyone's hair came out great! There was a bit of a struggle with my original hairpiece, but it ended up coming out great! Would definitely recommend the whole team- decently priced and very communicative!

Ashley was my hairstylist and I’d give her a million stars if I could! Communication was super easy leading up to the trial and my wedding, and Ashley was so easy to work with once I was in the chair too! My bridesmaids and I all loved how Ashley did our hair, but we also loved how much back and forth we had with her. She would look at the inspiration picture, let us know if it’s doable or not, how it can be adjusted, etc. As she did our hair, she’d ask for feedback, and she also would sometimes put a piece one way, look at it, say “nope”, and would redo it. All of our hairstyles ended up incredible - and we had a mix of up, down, half up, fancy ponytail, etc. My hair (as the bride) lasted ALL NIGHT. If I had kept the pins in to sleep, I think my beautiful low bun would have kept for a full week. I highly highly highly recommend using JC for your wedding hair!!

JC hair design did an INCREDIBLE job for my wedding hair. I felt so beautiful with the way they did my hair. They really made my vision come true, and made me feel like a princess. Perfection! On a large bridal party and the MOB and MOG. Hair looked just as perfect at the end of the day as it did that morning. It was 8,000 degrees and everyone looked beautiful. They were awesome!

If I could choose 10 stars, I would! Ashley did an amazing job on everyone's hair for my wedding day. For my bridal look, I wanted loose curls. Ashley worked her magic gorgeously placing extensions to give me hair some extra volume which lasted all day and night. She also sprayed my bangs to make sure they didn't move and stayed perfect for pictures and the entire evening. Ashley has a kindhearted and patient disposition which made for a stress free, joyous experience. She made us all feel beautiful!

Jessica was the perfect hair stylist for my wedding in June. She is kind, professional, has great ideas, very communicative and an extremely fun person to have around on my wedding day. Lizbeth and Selena were fantastic. I would highly recommend. They were prompt, kind, funny and their work was amazing. For our June 2024 wedding, they worked on 4 bridesmaids and 3 close family of the bride. Everyone loved their hair and would recommend using again. The girls had soft, wavy updos and were classy. For myself, I had a sleek half up half down and loved it. Lasted me the entire night! Couldn't have done it without them! 10/10 would use JC and her team again.

Going into the process of finding a hair artist, I felt intimidated because I didn't have the vocabulary to describe trends and techniques. I was relieved to find Lisbeth, who was extremely accommodating in the scheduling of the trial despite my limited time in New Jersey. And even though I changed it all up on the day of, and went with half-down instead of an updo, she understood all of my ideas and worked with me to realize them! I especially appreciated that she made sure that my headpiece sat comfortably on my head. My hair looked beautiful all night and the next morning as well. My bridesmaids loved their hair as well!

Michele and Jess were absolutely amazing!! My bridesmaids and I were so impressed with how our hair looked! They were on time day of my wedding and Jessica was so amazing to work with via email. I would highly recommend.

My main hair artist was Nicole and overall I think she did a very good job. My only regret was that on the day of, she didn’t put much (or any) volume in my hair for my low bun, which she had done in the hair trial. After my hair was done, I said that I thought there would be more volume, and she offered to re-do my hair entirely, but at that point in the day I was getting a little antsy and just wanted to be done with hair prep. I can’t fully fault her since she was super willing to re-do the hairstyle, but I would have appreciated if she had confirmed what she was doing before starting so that we could have prevented this small issue. Overall though, I’m super happy with how my hair turned out and it lasted all night! Our 2nd hair artist was Liliana and my bridesmaids felt she did a great job and was also extremely personable.

Jessica is great! She was super responsive when I was initially looking for hair stylists for the wedding. She did a great job during the trial and was super communicative throughout our exchange. JC Hair Design was amazing! I had my trial with Lizbeth before the wedding and she did my hair exactly as I had envisioned it. On the day of the wedding they also did hair for all of my bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother in law. Everyone loved their look! I’m so glad that I chose JC Hair Design for my wedding hair! I got married on May 20th and the weather that day was definitely a test to good hair stylist - pouring rain leading up to the ceremony and humid during the ceremony! Understandably, not everyone’s held up perfectly the whole night, but our circumstances were pretty challenging. We worked with one of Jessica’s partners (also named Jessica). She was amazing and so easy to work with. We had a hair trial several months before the wedding and Jessica worked with me to make sure I had the look I wanted. About a month before the wedding, I decided to pick a completely different hair style and Jess had another trial with me, spending a very long time to find a different hair style that I liked better. For the schedule, she worked with us to make sure the timeline fit with our makeup schedule. The day of the wedding, Jessica was very efficient, making the whole morning a breeze and very fun. She did an amazing job with myself, 3 bridesmaids, and 2 moms. I would recommend her to everyone!

I found Jess on IG while looking for a photo/videographer and booked her right after my trial! She and Michele did hair for myself, my mom and MIL, and 6 bridesmaids. Each of us had different hairstyles—some down, others up, others half up half down, and we all loved it! We got our hair done at ~9-11 AM, and we all still looked great when our reception ended at 12:30 AM. Jess and Michele are also super friendly and personable and made all of us feel at ease while we were getting our hair done. They also worked seamlessly with my makeup artists from Beauty On Location. We all had a wonderful experience, thank you Jess!

Ashley was fantastic to work with-- the trial was fun and easy and Ashley is so talented she was able to accommodate on the fly changes to my hair style on the day. I wasn't obsessed with how my hair trial with Kristen came out, but on my wedding day, she listened to the things I wanted to change, then executed it perfectly! Jessica also made the booking and payment process very easy and is clearly so organized. I definitely recommend JC Hair!

LOVE!!! We worked with May from JC Hair Design for my wedding and she did an incredible job. She was right on time and was super fun and easy going and made getting ready fun. I absolutely loved my hair and my mom and bridesmaids loved theirs too. JC Hair was super responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding and I simply could not have been happier with the service. She even helped me get my dress on, helped my sister in law steam and then blow-dry a water spot on her dress, and was willing to jump in and help wherever she was needed without even having to ask. Above and beyond. Love you May thank you for everything!!!

I was lucky enough to have Lizbeth style my hair the day of my wedding. She was punctual at the venue, and her friendly demeanor was such a great addition to the bridal suite while getting ready. From braids and updos to adding a little zhuzh to straight hair, my bridesmaids and Mother/Mother in Law were all so happy with how their hair turned out. 10/10 would recommend for future brides!
