ted her. We decided to move forward with her being our officiant after the meeting. She sent a contactor, and I paid the initial deposit. She stated she would be in contact with us as the wedding got closer to discuss scripts and what we would like in our ceremony. Fast forward to 3 weeks before my wedding, I reached out to Jaylin, as I had not heard from her, via email, phone, and text, and received no response. She basically ghosted us! I had to ask someone else to officiate our wedding due to her going MIA. To ghost someone with no communication, after paying a deposit, and never talking to them again after the consultation is unacceptable! If something was going on that prevented her from being able to officiate at our wedding, that should have been communicated. I tried to support an up and coming minority officiant, but never again. Save yourself the trouble and find someone else other than her!
I highly recommend Minister Jaylin without reservation! She was warm, kind, professional, patient, flexible, reliable, communicative, and more. She wanted to do a quick Zoom meet...
ing with us to get to know us before the actual ceremony. She offered to write things up for us, but was warm and receptive when I suggested a script I pieced together from other places. She was comfortable with our non-traditional arrangement as well as our secular vows. She was happy to share with me her certification as a minister, which I could easily verify online. This gave me confidence that hiring her would meet the legal requirements for solemnizing a marriage in California. I felt like she was a good friend. Oh, and she personally dropped off our license with the San Diego Recorder the very next day. This meant we could order official copies almost immediately and we never had to worry about the license getting lost in the mail. Jaylin was just so easy going and flexible, willing to do whatever worked for everyone else, and it's worth repeating - she was soooo warm and kind! If you're reading this, don't hesitate. Just book her!
Minster Jaylin did a fanatic job for us! We eloped on January 13th, 2023 at Sunset Cliffs. We decided last minute to get married at Sunset Cliffs. We originally wanted to go to th...
e courthouse and get it over with but a friend suggested Jaylin because she is also a fellow military spouse. She is very sweet and informative, and quick! Within a weeks notice she officiated our wedding and emailed a sweet digital greeting card.
Thank you again Jaylin we greatly appreciate your ability to accommodate us.
