a minute ago If 0 stars is an option, that would be my selection. Let me start this story as it is long with first initial contact. I contact via facebook and email. I got responses to both. I was gathering information on king cakes and a potential wedding cake. The cake price for a one tiered geode cake was outrageous (I made my own wedding geode cake for about $30). Then I inquired about their king cakes, they were more reasonably priced. I sent my now husband to place the order for 2 kingcakes. Not only was the order placed on january 25th for our wedding april 8th, but we prepaid for them ($70) and set the pick up date for April 6th. I thought we were in good hands. When we called to confirm pick up time on April 6th, they denied having the order or having someone prepay. Naturally it being two days before my wedding I was upset. I asked could we bring in proof of payment and have the order filled. They were too busy.i asked could we bring proof of payment and be reimbursed, and they refused that too. I talked to Emma one of the owners that I had been emailing with and she got defensive and started screaming at me (the bride) on the phone. She said , "She'd been in this business longer than I was born and that I was calling her a liar and she started screaming even more and cussing." Her husband then came to the phone and said nothing we can do. That was the end of the conversation. We did not get the cakes. We did not get our money back. When my mother in law called to try and remedy the situation, she was greeted with the same psychotic rant. These people should be locked up for fraud for taking money without giving a product. I WILL NEVER be going to this bakery ever again and will never recommend it. P.S. We still haven't gotten our money back.
