Jean the JP

Jean was the embodiment of professionalism and poise as our JP. My wife and I planned a 35 guest micro-wedding at Mountainview Grand Hotel this winter with one month notice and we lucked out in picking Jean as our JP. The day had its share of logistical bumps in the road planning a small wedding ourselves on short notice, but we lucked out in choosing Jean as our JP. She was professional and courteous from her introduction, through assisting us with our vows and ceremony itinerary, and when the time for the ceremony came she was graceful, measured and set a measured tone for our wedding. Notably, she improved as needed during our ceremony...at one point our two-year-old son approached us, Jean stopped greeted him and we kept rolling into the ceremony together for a minute or two until a family member came to still him. This example shows she was both directing the flow of events and at the same time a strong presence in the background which allowed things to develop naturally (it made for great pictures to have us together for that unplanned moment!)! Jean was the perfect JP for our ceremony, and I imagine her adaptability and clear communication throughout the process would make her ideal for any wedding, large or small.
