I have always believed one thing when it comes to wedding photography. There should be no limitations. Memories don't happen in a 6 hour time frame in the middle of the day. Memories start the second you start getting ready till the time you leave the wedding. I show up the time you start getting ready and do unlimited photography for the entire day. There isn't a set number of photos you get. I wont edit a set number either. I edit as many as I think you want to see. There is no limitation on copyrights either. They are your photos. You should have a copy. Another limitation is timelessness. I don't believe in following trends. Filters and different enhancements look fun now. But within ten years your photos will look dated. I want your photos to be as timeless as your memories.

Jean-Marcus really helped make our wedding a day we'll never forget. Immediately after meeting him in person we both knew he was our photographer, no matter the cost. It was even better when he explained the cost and his services, a steal for the quality of photos. Jean-Marcus was extremely flexible. He was able to change the day of our engagement photos last minute when we had a scheduling conflict. He was always available to communicate whenever we had a new idea or change for our wedding day. He was even able to help us choose our DJ/emcee. Him and Jay Hayes make a great team! Can't tell you how many friends and family said this as well. Jean-Marcus being willing to spend the entire day with us... was truly invaluable. Our wedding day got off to rocky start with the weather, but J-M had no problems communicating with us to find amazing shots for our pre-ceremony photos. In the end you couldn't tell the weather had changed our plans. Jean-Marcus had no trouble in directing us, including our 17 person wedding party, to find amazing shots on our day. A truly professional photographer. He has a real special talent in finding some incredible shots, and the photos...award winning in our eyes. While on our honeymoon he got teasers out in just a few days and they were spectacular. We were near tears, as we had no idea he would go above and beyond to share some so quick! Our honeymooning new friends were quite jealous. The photos showcased the true essence of our day. We were blessed to have found J-M, both his photos and his professionalism were first class.

We couldn't have been more impressed or pleased with the professionalism and service we received from Jean-Marcus for our wedding. From our first conversation, I knew we would be so lucky to have him capture our special day. His attention to detail, helpfulness and advice throughout the entire process of planning and pulling off a wedding was above and beyond what I expected from a wedding photographer. With his experience, he was able to help trouble shoot potential problems even before the wedding. Even day of, when we had to change our wedding photo location last minute, he was so flexible and he helped us get some really incredible photos! I can't speak highly enough of his professional and personal character, he is the absolute best and anyone would be incredibly lucky to work with him! Photograph turn around time was exactly on par with the estimate he gave us. We LOVE our photos! He captured the entire day perfectly! We are so grateful to have such amazing photos to be able enjoy for the rest of our lives!

We had such a great experience during our engagement photo session with Jean-Marcus! We were a bit nervous going into it, but Jean-Marcus made it fun from the start. He made us comfortable even in such a public setting. We were even more excited when we saw the proofs. He had these to us the next day and then the final edits within the next day of picking our favorites, which was not easy since they were all amazing! Jean-Marcus was also very flexible when we needed to change the date of our engagement session. We couldn't be more excited to have him as our wedding photographer this April! We would highly recommend Jean-Marcus to anyone looking for any photographer!

Jean-Marcus was an incredible photographer from start to finish for our wedding. He's professional and manages to keep things light-hearted and it's easy to feel like he's party of the family/celebration! We had an outdoor wedding in the woods at a venue with a mix of bright sunny spaces, crazy shadows from large trees, and small and large indoor spaces with a wedding spanning daytime to nighttime. Jean-Marcus did a site visit the week before the wedding to decide on photo spots and get a sense of the lighting. He was respectful of our wishes to take a photo "break" during the evening instead of doing a long session between the ceremony and dinner. He made sure our posture was flattering (thank you!) and that we had fun to capture genuine moments. We got so many compliments from our guests when he offered to take couple photos in one of the "money shot" locations at the venue (so awesome!) and for his overall attitude and presence. Unlike a lot of wedding photographers I've seen... Jean-Marcus was not an in-your-face distraction flashing a bulb in your face in the middle of your sweet dance moves display. You would hardly know he was there at the time, but his photos captured every moment so I know he was there. We are beyond happy with the final result and our photos. He captured the spirit and vibrancy of our magical woodsy/treehouse wedding on a large scale and his detail photos are amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Jean-Marcus!

Jean-Marcus Strole recently was our photographer for our destination wedding in La Quinta, Ca he did such an amazing job. He got along with all of our guests and family members blending right in. He was fast to get us our photo's back and to ask about our needs and what we wanted to see. We went over what our main theme and what we wanted to capture and he did just that. Jean-Marcus is the BEST photographer out there! I first met Jean-Marcus in 2007, when he photographed my best friend's destination wedding in Kauai. We were in Kauai for a full week, and I remember just how friendly and personable Jean-Marcus was the entire trip - from the welcome BBQ to the ceremony to the post-wedding shenanigans. He got along with everyone so well that you would never think he was a hired vendor because he fit in so well; it was as though he'd been a part of the family for years. He made such a great impression on me that it was seriously a no-brainer when it came to planning my own wedding many, many years later. My husband and I planned our 2014 Winter Solstice wedding in Seattle in about 6 weeks. We were so thankful everything came together so quickly, and without a hitch. We were thankful Jean-Marcus was available to photograph our wedding on short notice, and the weekend before Christmas. We had a small, intimate wedding at Ray's Boathouse in Seattle. Jean-Marcus did such an amazing job capturing our wedding. We absolutely loved our wedding photos. He sent us a couple of teasers a few days after the wedding, so we could send some out as our holiday cards. He also provided us with a link/app to view our wedding photos and share them with our friends and family, which they loved! He even sent us a disc with all our wedding photos and the disc cover was made up of some of our most favorite photos from our special day. Jean-Marcus is in a league of his own. He's a top-rated wedding photographer for a reason. Jean-Marcus is a highly skilled photographer.He's great at what he does. I would HIGHLY recommend Jean-Marcus to any bride-to-be looking for a fabulous photographer for her wedding. Whether you are having a small, intimate destination wedding or a big celebration in your hometown, Jean-Marcus is your guy!

Jean- Marcus not only photographed our wedding, but was able to join our journey at the start for our engagement photos AND he made himself available for our rehearsal as well! He traveled to Southern California for us and was very accommodating! We built a great relationship from the beginning. We loved our photos for all three occasions and he was professional and so knowledgeable. We also had a videographer and Jean-Marcus was in constant communication in order to make sure things ran smoothly. Turn around for our wedding photos were also very fast and exactly what we wanted.

I highly recommend Jean-Marcus Strole Photography for anybody getting married. He took amazing pictures, but he also helped with so much more the day of our wedding. He came to the hair salon to take pictures and while we were there we had a transportation issue and happily drove me and some bridesmaids to our venue. He is work is fabulous and he helped me feel at ease with the day of stress!

My husband and I got married in Seattle last year and had the privilege of Jean-Marcus as our photographer. I'm a details guy and was full of a butterfly farm as our big day approached quickly. As we met to plan, Jean-Marcus was wonderful at spending the right amount of time between standard shot sheets versus creative ideas. PRO TIP: give him as much free reign as possible at your wedding. Jean-Marcus has a killer eye for balance, contrast, texture, and composition. Our wedding photography is a priceless treasure because of this talent and professionalism.

We had our wedding in Snohomish washington in October of 2014. Jean-Marcus had many creative ideas for locations around the area. We went to a pumpkin patch, near some classic Snohomish homes with large trees and leaves everywhere and a few other natural light areas. Jean-Marcus was great directing everyone where to be and at what time. That is an aspect I was unfamiliar with. Usual for pics I just say everybody stand together. Jean-Marcus has an eye for aesthetics. My wife and I were very happy with the finished product and will probably hire Jean-Marcus in the future for family photos or special occasion events.

Jean-Marcus shot our Seattle wedding and our photos were works of art! Jean-Marcus was a joy to work with and made the whole process effortless and fun. He was extremely organized, very friendly, easy to work with, and an incredibly creative talent. We loved every photo and his endless photo ideas gave us a one of a kind end product. If you want professional, one-of-a-kind shots then Jean-Marcus is the photographer for you!

Working with a lot of wedding vendors, there was no question that Jean-Marcus was my ONLY choice for my own personal wedding! I want to write about all of the events I have seen him capture but in this review, I will talk of my personal experience: I only have one complaint: I asked Jean-Marcus to edit my photos to make me look like Jessica Alba... That didn't happen LOL -But what did happen is, looking at my pictures, I realized how beautiful I looked. He made me feel my beauty with barely any editing and I thank him for that!! What also happened is Jean Marcus letting me decide how my pictures went (day of). What I had imagined, wished and asked for prior to my wedding was NOT what I wanted while standing in the moment on my actual wedding day. In fact, I changed everything!! It was so hot (98 degrees) and I just wanted to party. Jean-Marcus went right along with my flow, getting enough to fulfill the pictures needed to satisfy my original request while letting go and allowing things to switch up a little (last minute). Most of my pictures were candid, rather than perfectly posed, which I preferred and was a HUGE request of mine. He got the posed pictures we needed to be satisfied with our "wedding day pictures". The reception pictures were AWESOME! Proof that everyone had a great time and I constantly get to look back and see the party that I dreamed of for so long! Every time I look at my wedding photos, I feel like I am reliving the event. I especially love how he took so many amazing pictures of our kids having fun... I really wanted that and LOVE looking at them, so innocent and full of life on the dance floor and with their cousins and family. Outside of our wedding, Jean-Marcus is a true statement in the photography field. It isn't his J-O-B, and it isn't work. He proves constantly that photography is his passion and talent. He enjoys everything he does in life and is very open and adventurous, always coming up with amazing ideas to capture your special moments as if they were his own. He is very personable and you can't help but consider him a friend right off the bat! Thank you, Jean-Marcus, for capturing the beauty of our wedding day. Jean Marcus helped make our day so memorable! We hired him because he did My sister's wedding, and we all absolutely loved him! Jean Marcus was so easy to work with from beginning to end, being flexible with planning meetings and ensuring (and following through with) being the first to arrive at the venue in Issaquah, and being the last to leave; it was so nice not having to worry about a time frame he would be available and knowing he woulda be there for everything! He is professional, passionate, fun and creative, capturing shots throughout the day, while blending in with our guests. We were so happy to have him a part of another family event, and definitely were not disappointed.

Jean-Marcus is not only a super fun and charismatic person he is very talented. My husband and I got married in Puerto Morelos, Cancun in Mexico. We flew Jean Marcus to document our wedding and couldn't have been happier. Everyone loved him and we loved him he really integrated himself seamlessly into our wedding party and took all photos I requested. He went above and beyond with his editing I want to frame all of my pictures he took! He made everyone feel comfortable and excited to be photographed which is such a unique skills. Jean-Marcus was professional, on time, charismatic, kind and very talented couldn't be happier!

JM is an amazing photographer! He really took charge on our wedding day and helped keep us on schedule. He was an integral part of our special day! He has an artistic eye and really captures some amazing photos. People are amazed at our photos and can't stop saying how amazing they are. Even during the wedding guests kept coming up to us saying how amazing he was. Some of his pictures are just so amazing and unique! Not only does he take amazing artistic pictures, but he also takes some more traditional pictures as well. We recommend him to everyone and we can't wait to hire him again when we need family pictures!

Photography was one of the most important aspects of our wedding, after all it is the one thing that will last us a lifetime! So, my husband and I did our research and couldn't have been happier with Jean! I can't wait to see the final pictures from the wedding. Jean is an artist at what he does, don't expect "normal" wedding photography. We wanted to find ways to make our photos different, so he worked with us and gave us ideas along the way. We get so many awww's about our engagement pictures with him that I can't wait to see the wedding pictures.
