Jeannie was amazing. I hired her for our micro wedding with COVID precautions. From the first phone call, she helped me feel at ease, she was incredibly sweet and answered all of my questions. She was super professional, timely, understanding, flexible and responsible. She did my makeup on my bridal shower a few weeks before the big day. She traveled for that trial and it was super helpful to ensure we had the perfect look and concealer for my skin. On the big day she did my makeup, that of my mother, MIL, and bridesmaids. I hired Jeannie for my wedding and all I can say is one word - AMAZING! Hey Brides, Hey! I dreamt about my wedding for as long as I can remember, I watch ’Say Yes To The Dress’ religiously, there isn’t a bridal IG page I haven’t lurked and don’t get me started on those insanely luxurious Lebanese wedding YouTube channel (people it’s a revelation!). I attended this fabulous upstate New York farmhouse wedding and the bride was radiant I made it my mission that night to know who did that beat, once I was told Jeannie was the MUA I knew she would be on call for my upcoming destination wedding in Greece. I actually spoke with one of her previous brides who took her abroad and Jeannie delivered so I just know I am in good hands. We take our engagement photos soon and I am looking forward to it. As you can tell I am a glam junkie and when I text and email her looks she is so responsive I feel like she is my ultra talented BFF (in my head).

My wife asked me to share my thoughts on how she looked on out wedding day. She looked like the woman of my dreams and she was so happy I remember asking her if it was because we finally got married or because the photographer said she looked better than Beyonce (lol). On any given day I am amazed I am her husband but on our day that will be embedded in our minds for this lifetime I was really taken aback on how exquisite my LanaJoy is I felt her beauty she told me, Miss Jeannie, pulled that out of her (not jealous guys-lol). Ladies, I was the type that never envisioned myself as a bride so when I got engaged not only was I flabbergasted but I was overcome with fear that my day would not be spectacular because I am just not ’glam’. Well the stars were aligned and my best friend actually gifted me Jeannie’s services for my engagement pictures and party (we did it all in one day) Jeannie transformed, gave me sound advice and won me over with her masterful skills. She knows her craft, is kind and turned me into a masterpiece for my big day. She is worth every single dollar!

Who doesn’t want to look and feel their very best on any given day? This need to look ‘the part’ is especially integral when it comes to special occasions. I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with Jeannie in the past and when my best friend in the entire world Lana was planning her big day I felt confident in Jeannie’s expertise to recommend her services for Lana’s big day. Not only did Jeannie make us all look flawless she helped calm down the bride during a panic attack (she went above and beyond). Like with Lana I feel confident to any bride or person looking for a makeup artist who is as reliable as they are talent please look no further.

First let me start by saying, I do not wear makeup only Fenty lip gloss only for me. Jeannie was punctual and very professional. Jeannie explained every aspect of the process which made me feel comfortable , since I was a little apprehensive. Jeannie had a lot of make up options displayed to chose from it was daughter’s wedding day. She explained how to remove the make up and eyelashes after the wedding. My daughter pushed me out of my comfort zone and my husband and I thank her for it. My makeup was light and subtle. I loved my transformation after Jeannie was done making up my face. My husband liked the new look as well.

I had a destination wedding in Mexico and was very nervous about the vendors I was going to be working with as all of them were local. My make up and how I looked was not something I was willing to leave in the hands of someone unknown. Jeannie was the piece of NYC I was fortunate enough to have as my beauty artist for my wedding day and rehearsal dinner. Jeannie is that top-notch NYC level of service and quality. Not only did she do an amazing job but she has a very sweet and calming demeanor. What more can a Bride ask for??? Everyone kept telling me my face was glowing. Jeannie came over to my apartment to do my makeup for my wedding engagement photos. Having never used a service like this, I was nervous, yet excited. Jeannie eased any worry I initially had. She did exactly what I requested. The makeup looked both fabulous in photos, as well as in person. The makeup made me feel like the best version of myself, very confident and ready to go! I was so happy that I took the time to use her service. I recommend using Jeannie for any of your makeup needs. She is also such a fabulous person - we never ran out of things to talk about - and she educated me about makeup, even taught me about brands I didn't prior to her visit. Highly recommend and would use her again!

Let me start by saying I’m super picky about everything but Jeannie got it right on the first try. I loved my make up because I still looked like myself, just way prettier. The same can be said for the entire bridal party of 9 girls, who absolutely adored their make up and individualized look based on skin tone and face shape. In all she was professional, on-time and super attentive to detail and touch ups. I would definitely recommend her for not only weddings but other special events.

I loved having Jeannie do my makeup for my bridal shower. She did just what I asked for and was also super friendly to hang out with for the duration of my application! I went with a dewy fresh daytime look and she crushed it. I hope to work with her again!

Jeannie is amazing! I eloped on the Brooklyn Bridge and she did an impeccable job executing my natural yet glam makeup . I was in awe of my photos and I was thrilled at how it looked in person. She made my day seamless and special !

It was such an easy decision to utilize Jeannie for my makeup needs. I did do a trial session with her but even before the trial it was a no brainer. You see I was able to see her previous work prior to and have wanted to work with her. So when it was my decision to hire a makeup artist she was at the top of my list. Then came the trial. I was able to walk in to seeing a lot of makeup laid out- not knowing how it would turn out I was excited about the possibilities! Before getting started I was offered a glass of wine of which was great because there were refills. Conversation as she was doing the trial was great learned a lot about her becoming an artist and her pursuit, which inspired me on my own personable career. As we were talking I didn’t even think she was placing makeup because of how gentle she was. The best part of the entire trial is that when I saw the outcome I knew I had to book her for my day! I loved the trial makeup that I didn’t need any adjustments made for my day of makeup. Skip forward to my wedding day- I was happy to see Jeannie arrive 45 minutes before her scheduled time and she immediately started laying the makeup out- again! So I knew it wasn’t a fluke of what I had seen the first time. Once set up she was able to start on my girls earlier than expected which is always a plus at a wedding to run earlier than expected (or so I was told). Each of my bridesmaids loved their makeup and of course Jeannie! My makeup was a rave and even my hairstylist was impressed by the makeup that Jeannie did and wanted to work with her going forward. She’s great at what she does, so much so that I’ve used her since my wedding for formal events, parties, etc. She is definitely worth a try!

I've reached out to Jeannie to do my makeup for an upcoming wedding. I have to say I was very pleased with her work! I was the BEST looking Bridesmaid! Jeannie knows her craft, and made me feel so comfortable! I can't wait to get my makeup done from Jeannie again. I'm looking forward to a makeover and she will be the first person I'll call. Jeannie did an amazing job on my rockabilly-inspired, 50s/pinup/vintage wedding make up and on short notice. My original makeup artist cancelled that morning and she was able to come quickly and capture my vision effortlessly. My makeup went perfectly with my dress and hair and stayed on all summer day and night. She was also very sweet, friendly and professional.
