Jeannine Marie Photography

ofessionalism throughout. Her ability to make us feel at ease during the shoots made the whole experience enjoyable and fun. Most importantly, the final photos were nothing short of breathtaking! The way Jeannine captured every moment was simply magical. I highly recommend Jeannine for her talent, professionalism, and the joy she brings to her work!

ne who needs a photographer.

er photos. More important, she as a person is amazing!!! She was a photographer, director, personal attendant, coordinator, and even at times our bartender. Seriously!!! She made us feel so special and cared for. We have both been raving about her to everyone we know. Hands down, she was our best investment of the day. If you are seeking personal professionalism in service and masterful timely finished photos as a result, choose Jeannine Marie!

se, she makes your day incredibly special, she is inordinately talented with tremendous vision, her final products are incredible and you will not regret one penny that you spend on her services. I should also note that we did all our planning and design sessions from afar as we live in Virginia and she was wonderful throughout the process. For those who read longer reviews, here we go. BEFORE THE WEDDING Jeannine was amazing from the start - she provides questionnaires that help her get to know the couple and after our first meeting we both felt completely comfortable with her. She was fun to meet with and whenever we had a question during the wedding planning process, she was quick to respond and always helpful. THE DAY OF The day of the wedding. Holy bananas was she great. We (my husband and I, my extended family, my husband's family, everyone) talked about her for WEEKS after our wedding - that we got so lucky to have such a wonderful photographer. We had also requested a second photographer and Jeannine brought Kate Minor with her who was equally amazing. Kate also has wonderful vision and was so kind; we would hire her again too! We had a pretty large wedding party (6 on each side) and Jeannine worked hard to remember everyone's names so she could quickly reposition people for photos. Not only did she remember the names in our wedding party, she also remembered my extended family's names (also a large group). My 6-year-old stepdaughter (Ellie) was very closely involved in our wedding day and Jeannine was absolutely incredible with her. She is a very spunky, outgoing child with a tremendous amount of curiosity and loved to know what Jeannine was doing - Jeannine was so patient and kind, showing Ellie the photos she took and involving her in the process. Ellie got to pick the silly faces the wedding party made, perfected her twirl, and even got to help Jeannine take a photo! AFTER THE WEDDING When our gallery was ready for us to view, Jeannine reached out to ask when my husband and I would have time to look at it together. She then scheduled an email to go out at that time so we wouldn't be tempted to look at the gallery separately. It was such wonderful insight and forethought she brought to this process, we had an amazing time reliving the day and are so grateful she recommended we do it together. It was a very special time. THE FINAL PRODUCTS Our wedding album is our favorite thing to have come from our wedding. We did three design sessions with Jeannine and she was tremendously patient with my neurotic attention to detail. Every session was fun and she made the design process so easy. The album is incredible and we have received so many compliments on it from our friends and family. THE FUTURE While we live in Virginia, we have big plans to hire Jeannine every time we need family photos! We've decided that whenever we're in town for other events, we will plan to schedule time with Jeannine and get our photos done. We absolutely love her and you will too!

h her previous work, she had a great mix of fun and traditional, which was exactly what we were looking for. After meeting with her, we both quickly agreed that we had found the perfect fit, both in terms of style and personality. Jeannine was incredibly helpful throughout the process, making planning from 1,200+ miles away much less stressful. The night before the wedding, there was a change of weather in the forecast and Jeannine was quick to walk us through alternative plans if needed and put our minds at ease. The day of, she was energetic and fun, but also great at keeping everyone on task! Her general ‘vibe’ worked SO well with our whole crew, and she managed to get everyone’s personalities in photos. She captured the ceremony perfectly and got some amazing candid shots of our guests dancing during the reception. The photos even came back sooner than expected and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! We would highly recommend Jeannine to photograph your big day! (Or any other photography needs, really)

os. She was very professional in her demeanor and communicated really well. I look forward to working with her again!

shows on her face and in her shots just how much she cares about her clients. Jeannine was not feeling great the day of our wedding but stuck it out for us and even though we knew she was miserable, she never waivered or showed her discomfort- she was still just as fun and bubbly helping to guide our shots.

e but excitable young ring bearers and flower girls? Look no further! Jeannine was a DREAM to work with. Her photos are exquisite, but more important for us, she was a valuable friend and supporter before, during, and after our big day. She kept us on top of an ambitious timeline and shot list all while keeping us relaxed and making sure we were having fun. The wedding day goes by so quickly, but knowing we have such wonderful photos of our day to cherish for a lifetime means we will remember our day and all these special moments.

we were in a bind to find a wedding photographer that could make our special day beautifully memorable. We happened to contact Jeannine because we loved her portfolio, and she happily made herself available for our short and sweet, family-only wedding day. From the very first consultation to the day of our wedding, we cultivated a rich connection with Jeannine as she helped us paint a vivid picture of how our wedding day would be organized and captured. Jeannine took these conversations and translated them into a wedding day full of photography fun coupled with sensitivity, attentiveness, and artistry. Everyone at the wedding couldn't stop talking about how wonderful she was throughout the day. One of our family members even asked for Jeannine's contact info to connect about another photography opportunity at a later date! To summarize, we are beyond grateful for Jeannine; not only did we get elegant, joyful, loving photos to last a lifetime, we got to know an immensely talented, funny, and caring person behind the lens. Thank you for everything, Jeannine! You're simply the best 💞

our wedding party and guests was about how wonderful she was. She knows what she is doing and will go above and beyond to get the shot. She did a great job giving directions while keeping everything fun and lighthearted. Stop what you're doing and book her immediately. You will not regret it.

ional she also is extremely organized and even with small or big changes that happen within the wedding day she is able to adapt to it with grace and keep everyone on track, happy, and comfortable. We had a lot of last minute switch ups with our wedding coordinator(s) which was difficult and Jeannine (without her probably realizing it) basically coordinated the wedding for us, which we really needed. Not only is she herself incredible, but her photos are absolutely STUNNING! They capture the day so well that I get emotional looking back on them! They are so beautiful and I am so excited to cherish them for my lifetime. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Jeannine and our wedding photos!

aptured beautiful expressions on everyone's faces -- they look very genuine. Finally, she had a great presence at the event. She was always around yet never seemed in the way!

nine was beyond understanding as well as flexible and definitely brought laughs forward when needed. We were able to celebrate our wedding, and I cannot emphasize enough how much having Jeannine at our weddings made a difference. She is exceeding kind, professional, and you can tell she clearly loves her job. Her photographs are simply stunning and we both are incredibly happy with how our photos turned out. So many folks have commented on our wedding photos and the timeless look they have. The photos are an crucial way to look back at a cherished memory and the album we purchased as part of the package is an must. Jeannine is an incredible, talented person and an absolute pleasure to be around. Cannot say enough good things about Jeannine and her team! So many thanks for helping make our days so special.

lent, there is no one else we would have rather worked with on such a special day. Even having 3 young boys in a lot of pictures that are notoriously difficult to photograph, she won them over right away! She was more than accommodating with all of our photo requests and worked very well with both families. All that aside, the actual pictures she took were jaw dropping! We love pictures that aren't drowned in color filters and she was able to make the natural colors, subject, and background pop and bring the picture to life! If it were possible to give her more than 5 stars we would in a heartbeat! Highly, highly, highly recommend!

mfortable and look natural during our photos. She was so easy to work with and we cannot recommend her enough. We've only gotten a sneak peak of our photos so far, but we are already blown away by what we saw! Highly recommend!

luded tornado warnings, tons of rain, high winds, and a beautiful sunset at the end). She was so much fun to work with, an absolute sweetheart, and paid super close attention to the details that matter (for instance, she brought me wine randomly throughout the night when she noticed I wasn't holding a drink, which was amazing). Instead of "some random person" following you around at your wedding, it was just like having one of your best friends tagging along and coaching you through shots, making sure you capture everything you want, and supporting you along the way. My husband and I could not have asked for a better photographer. We just got our "sneak preview" and were absolutely STUNNED by the 100+ gorgeous photos she sent over the day after our wedding. Can't wait to see the rest! Love you Jeannie! <3 PS: If you need a great videographer, hire Brad Rich from A.B. Rich Films!

it was to shift gears and book a new photographer I am SO HAPPY we did! Not only is she amazingly talented she interacts so well with people and made the long day of photos so much fun. Weddings are hard, people are moving in every direction but she managed to keep it all together and the sneak peeks we have gotten back so far are beyond incredible! Highly recommend 1000 times over!

d and then rushed our wedding due to COVID and family circumstances - yet Jeannine was accommodating and so generous! She will remember all of the finer details and has a very natural way of communicating that allowed our quiet introverted selves to feel at ease while bringing a lot of fun! She's straightforward, honest, and an amazing human being ... and she has given us the best memories. Hire her for your engagement and wedding day photos!

njoy with just us at our little table. “Who got you what”? I asked. “She got me tearing up when you came down the aisle,” he replied. Now that we have the photos back, I couldn’t be happier that Jeannine was our photographer. She was able to capture the moments that we thought only we saw. She captured the moments of joy, celebration, and complete happiness. Through her photos, we were able to see things we missed and are so happy to have memories of now. Though we were married in the middle of a pandemic, Jeannine’s photos do not show any of the stress or ware that this difficult time has brought. She was fabulous to work with and very understanding of all the restrictions we were placed under to ensure everyone was safe, paying special attention to those with additional concerns. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better and are so grateful for every moment she captured and was apart of. Thank you Jeannine!

f my highest priorities for the wedding was having amazing images. I wanted the memories of our day to be captured so that we have them to look back on - to capture the emotions, to remind us of the beginning of our love story, to celebrate how far we've come, to encourage us when times are tough. Before our engagement shoot, Jeannine asked us lots of questions about us and our relationship. After hearing about our summer adventures up north, she asked what we thought about doing the engagement session up there (ummm, yes!). She suggested several great locations, but we chose Jay Cooke State Park for its stunning and wild beauty. We knew it would be a perfect match for Jeannine's bold/epic photography style and the kind of images we hoped for! We were a little bit nervous, but the shoot was a lot of fun. (Looking back, I think doing the e-session helped us loosen up and be a lot more natural on camera for wedding day!) I didn't even like my hair and makeup that much (that's another story), but she's Jeannine so she still got amazing photos that we LOVE!! :) On wedding day, everything was seamless. Jeannine scouted the perfect location ahead of time for our first look and couple + wedding party photos. Doing portraits before the wedding with Jeannine was just FUN. She always has a huge smile on her face! We appreciated her energy and enthusiasm, and she has been doing this for so long that she just seems to know instinctually how to get that perfect shot every time! At our reception, she always seemed to be nearby to capture impromptu photos of us with our loved ones in between her candids. I don't know how many times throughout the process and wedding day my fiancé/husband said to me, "I really like Jeannine! I'm so glad we chose her!!" We got lots of compliments from the family as well about how great and fun Jeannine was. We got our wedding photos back right as our honeymoon was ending. In our new home, we got to relive our beautiful wedding day through the images, and all of the gooey feelings and giggles and tears came back as we remembered our favorite day. Jeannine, thank you so SO much!! It was the perfect day. We are so happy and I can't tell you how precious it is to have these gorgeous images to remember and cherish our wedding day for the rest of our lives!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 We love them so much.

he best. Not only will she take amazing photos of you on your most important day but she will also be the bridesmaid you never knew you needed:)!! We will definitely be contacting her again when we need photos in the future.

e asked really great questions that in turn made the day go seamlessly. When we got the final pictures (which was quick!), we were so happy. She was caught the little moments unobtrusively and beautifully. Thanks!!!

is not only a fantastic photographer (which you all can see by looking at any of her work) but she's also just a fantastic human being. She's kind, caring, will go above and beyond and she will make you laugh. All the time. I'm pretty sure she thinks it's her job to make you smile authentically so that you look amazing in your photos! ;) You absolutely will not regret hiring Jeannine for your wedding!!

ING. Even if we didn't mention we wanted something taken, she still captured it. She gave us everything we wanted and MORE!!! We can't thank her enough for the images she took!! They were BEYOND AMAZING, and you could feel the emotions through the photos. Words cannot describe how thankful we are for Jeannine and capturing our special day!!!!

the day of our wedding. Simply put, she is amazing.

our wedding ran so smoothly. She is also one of the funniest, sweetest people I've had the pleasure to work with, and I can't recommend her enough. :)

rounding everyone up for family shots. She took the time to get to know us, our families, and what we were looking for, and then come wedding day she was immensely helpful in all aspects, never saying "that's not my job" and was ALWAYS upbeat and positive. I would recommend Jeannine in a heartbeat to anyone looking for the best wedding photographer.

nd family members three days before the wedding and she had memorized them all on that day. She sat on the ground for the majority of the reception to ensure that I would have great photos during my speeches. She was quick and observant - catching small moments going on in the background that totally went over our heads. Her and her partner arrived early and were ready to work and left at 10 pm, still with lots of energy. I know she probably didn't get 8 hours of sleep that night because the very next day at 9 AM she posted 40 preview pictures of our wedding, edited and all. When we were looking at photographers in the early stages of our wedding planning we were so overwhelmed and confused - everyone started to look the same. We met with several photographers but just didn't feel that click. Within 10 minutes of our meeting with Jeannine I knew. When we ended our video call with her my husband and I knew we had found a photographer for our special day. She's kind, experienced, organized, professional, and the quality of her photos are an exact reflection of her dedication to her craft. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, Jeannine for everything!

e was prompt, kind, professional and most importantly she was patient. We are awestruck by how beautifully Jeannine captured our special day. A million thanks to you Jeannine! You were so much fun to work with! ♡Brittany, Matt and Chandler

perfect. The pictures truly capture your special day and the pictures look real, and not all edited weird! Choose Jeannine as your photographer and you will never regret it!

otos taken by her in one of my dream locations and I was so impressed! This made us so comfortable for our wedding day. She was on time and keep the photos going on time even with my makeup slightly delayed. All our family and guests loved her and we are getting nothing but rave reviews on the photos! We are having a tough time picking, because they are all so beautiful. Thank you Jeannine!

She knows what she's doing! She has great vision and is always aware of her surroundings ready to get the perfect shot! She listens to your needs and wants and delivers! On top of that she is good at directing the whole wedding party and family the day of, she handles the chaos like a champ! She is also very friendly and easy going and is great with communicating throughout the whole wedding plan process. She is a little more than I wanted to spend but I absolutely do not regret paying more. Our pictures (engagement and wedding) are beautiful! You one hundred percent get your money's worth! I will always use her for any photography needs in the future :)

I. We just couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Taking a look at her photos brings us back to each part of our special day. She really did capture the magic of that day in all aspects. The photos are just stunning. She was excellent with the young children in the wedding and everyone else involved as well. She really gave it her all the entire day. We are so glad we went with Jeannine and would recommend her to anyone. You won’t regret it!

nt with Jeannine. Apart from great photos and a really funny demeanor, Jeannine also gave us really valuable advice and functioned as a second wedding planner.

nnine kept her energy level high and created a fun environment. She still got amazing shots and we don't look like we were freezing. Jeannine also gave me her jacket in-between pictures and while walking.. so sweet! Our guests are raving about our photos and loved that they got to see some during our reception. I am SO thankful that we chose Jeannine as our wedding photographer!! Your wedding day only happens once in a lifetime and Jeannine captured every moment of our day beautifully!

n and extremely easy to get along with, she absolutely went the extra mile for us. She killed it with our engagement photos many months before the wedding giving us the perfect images to announce our day (and decorate our house). On the day of the wedding she was an absolute pro! She was battling a cold the day of our wedding, but that did not slow her down one bit. She was there from the begging to the end capturing every moment and every detail. She even adjusted on the fly as we said hey, we want this photo or that photo. After the wedding Jeannine continued to amaze us. We assumed she would need some time to rest from the wedding of the year and the cold that she was battling, but she exceeded our expectations by getting us a preview in 24 hours. We were blown away by her ability to capture so many precious (and hilarious) moments from our day. She is at the top of her game and if you do not hire her as your photographer you are doing this wedding thing all wrong.

to satisfied the clients and vendors need. On top of that, she is amazing photographer! That is the cherry on top of everything she provide. ❤️100% recommend!

y ideas of poses and places to take photos and was able to fit so many different photos into our session. She whirled us around Minnehaha falls for our engagement session and made it a truly fun experience. For our wedding she kept taking photos well after our agreed time because she kept loving all the different shots she was getting. "Just one more" she said! We ended up with almost 1000 photos from our wedding and just couldn't be happier. We hope to have her do shoots for us again in the future. Thank you so much Jeannine!

of great looking photos, but really, the photographer's job is a lot more than just point-and-shoot. You want them to make your lives easier amidst the chaos, you want help setting a clear timeline so things run smoothly, and to know they are focused on your priorities. This is why we cannot recommend Jeannine Marie highly enough. We had our wedding at a camp in Bemidji, Minnesota, but live in Washington, D.C., making planning a bit more difficult. From the outset, Jeannine set our minds at ease by going over every detail - including many we did not think to ask about - and clearly articulating costs, options, and what would be the best fit for us. She never tried to "upsell" us on a different product, or something more expensive. If we wanted more, she had an option for that. If we wanted less, she had an option for that, too. She simply wanted to make sure we would get photos to last a lifetime - and boy did she deliver. On the wedding day, despite some logistical challenges presented by a hairdresser who got lost on the way, Jeannine made the photo-taking part of the wedding easy. She had a clear tick tock, communicated with other vendors to coordinate shots, kept us on time, and took amazing, gorgeous photos we'll enjoy for the rest of our lives. As the night wound down, she made sure to check in with us so that we got all the group photos we wanted to get. It was a thoughtful gesture that, frankly, I had not thought about at that point as I was having too much fun. It was also emblematic of how meticulously she approached the job, and how thoughtful she was from start to finish. Again, if you're looking for a wedding photographer, just end your search and go with Jeannine Marie. She's just the best.

ne details of the schedule for the day! It was her idea to do a first look with my Mom since I was wearing her vintage dress! The day of she was a joy and she stuck around the whole night to capture every minute of our party! She fit in with the family great and didn't bat an eye when (i assume) all the groomsmen tried to get her number :) From the previews, I know she picked the most wonderful lighting and highlighted my classy green and gold color scheme perfectly! I can't wait to see the rest of the album!!!

the entire time. She is so easy to work with and all of our family and friends loved her. We would recommend her to everyone!!

ts, people and personalities would not be easy for the toughest of character but she had a way of taking every moment and helping us all find the fun and joy... and it shows in our pictures. Best Choice, Best Outcome, Best Day Ever!!

your wedding is over you will have your memories and pictures to commorate the day, make sure you pick a great photographer. I highly recommend Jeannine!
