About This Vendor

Historic Elegance in North Fork Wine Country

Jamesport, NY is home to Jedediah Hawkins Inn, a historic wedding that beautifully blends timeless elegance and rustic charm. Dating back to the mid-19th century, this Empire State gem is nestled close to some of Long Island's most picturesque sights. It is home to a variety of beautiful event spaces, all of which exemplify the property's vintage-meets-vogue aesthetic. With a stellar team dedicated to bringing your vision to life, this inn can set the stage for your entire celebration. Jedediah Hawkins Inn is surrounded by 22 acres of scenic farms and gardens, so there are plenty of opportunities for photographs. This North Fork Wine Country gem is far removed from the vibrant hubbub of nearby New York, perfect for soon-to-be newlyweds seeking solace from the big city. You and your partner can pledge your love in the Gazebo, an idyllic setting defined by its Victorian influences. Following this, you are welcome to enjoy a photoshoot and play games with your loved ones in the gardens. Ceremonies and receptions can take place in the 1,800 square-foot barn. Replete with exposed beams, eye-catching plants, and high ceilings, it is a fantastic spot for dancing the night away with guests. The 1920s-inspired Speakeasy is suitable for intimate dinners and cocktail receptions. Up to 125 of your friends and relatives can join you to celebrate your nuptials at Jedediah Hawkins Inn. Their wedding package includes a range of impressive features, such as a one-hour rehearsal, five hours of event time, convenient on-site parking, and more. Event items like farm tables, cross-back chairs, glasses, and napkins are available upon request. If you and your significant other wish to stay the night, you can make use of the ornate Belvedere Suite.

ely astonished by how stunning everything was, commenting that they had never been to a wedding like ours before. The charm and the beauty of Jedediah is amazing, everyone of our pictures no matter where we were was stunning. The food is amazing, everyone commented on how amazing the food was. Service also amazing. They are a boutique hotel and amazing restaurant, so unlike the vineyards where you have to bring people in and do everything yourself, Jedediah does everything for you! took so much stress off of planning not having to worry about hiring caterers, staff, etc. I cant recommend Jedediah enough! If you want to see pictures DM me on instagram @katharineworks, don't look any further just book it!

Jedediah went so smoothly! I contacted them to set up a walk through and they let us come the same day! Lia who helped me through the planning process was out of the country and still made time for my phone calls and countless emails. On the day of the wedding Colin oversaw everything and took away any stress I could’ve potentially had. Despite the rain, the venue offered such unique features that no one even cared that it was raining-including myself! I would definitely Jedediah to anyone who wants a unique rustic wedding. My guests are still raving about the barn reception-the food was so fresh and perfectly executed. Thanks for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

. She was incredibly flexible (had to change my date bc of the US Open and all hotels in the area sold out) and comforting during the natural stress of planning a wedding. Colin, the manager was nothing short of amazing. He made sure that everything ran smoothly for us from start to beginning. He also went out of his way to set up a smores station for us that was not originally planned. I love this place so much and all the people who work there. They truly made our wedding a dream!

with approximately 80 guests here in the late afternoon on a Friday in October. We were lucky to have a beautiful fall day. The ceremony was outside, with the cocktail hour on the patio and the reception in the barn. We also set up a Photo Booth in the gazebo. Every part of our wedding- from the staff at Jedediah (especially Lia and Colin), to the food, to the service, to the rooms at the inn was 5 star. Our guests are still talking about the sliders! We booked the entire inn Friday night for close family while other guests stayed at nearby accommodations. The suite on the third floor at Jedidiah is absolutely spectacular! The next day we had brunch at Jedediah with some of our wedding guests and spent the day with friends and family at local wineries. We had our version of the perfect wedding weekend at Jedidiah and in Jamesport.

d full use of the Barn, the grounds (we had a tented reception), outdoor space, the Inn, the Speakeasy - So many options to make your event your own. Also, there was plenty of space for everyone (girls & guys) to get ready separately on site...which meant less transportation hassle. AND the food is amazing - so many compliments from our guests! You may have to be proactive when communicating with the venue and patient, as the main event coordinator travels throughout the year, but it will be worth it. Lia and Collin were both a pleasure to work with and they did a wonderful job accommodating any customizations we had. Overall, an amazing North Fork event venue!

the night before the wedding in the Solarium. Chef Tyler worked diligently to create menus that appealed to everyone and people are still talking about the food!!! Lia, the owner was helpful throughout and ensured that the day would go off without a hitch. Grace, the day of coordinator, rolled up her sleeves and was beyond helpful. Collin and the rest of the staff was equally helpful. My wedding was unique and special. The guest rooms, especially the bridal suite are exceptional. It is a one of a kind experience. It didn't hurt that Jamesport fireworks took place on the same evening !

daughter to announce that "this is where I'm getting married." We immediately made an appointment with the owner, Lia, for the following weekend. Unlike most venues, where you are told how the wedding will be structured (cocktail hour here, reception there), at Jedediah Hawkins you have much more flexibility, depending upon your personal vision. You have full access to the dining room and solarium in the Inn, the outdoor patio (with tables and seating), the barn, and a large lawn area. You have the freedom to choose from all of these options. In addition, unlike most other venues, Jedediah Hawkins is home to a top notch and popular restaurant (more on that later). Our daughter chose to have her July 9th ceremony in the barn (air conditioned), the cocktail hour on the patio (additional seating in the restaurant also for anyone who wanted to sit indoors), and the reception under a tent on the lawn. An outdoor ceremony is also a popular option here because of the beautiful setting. Everything flowed seamlessly the entire day. During the reception, we had dinner and dancing under the tent, while guests could also stroll the grounds, play lawn games, or relax in the adirondack chairs. There's no need for a photo booth when the scenery is as stunning as it is here. You can take pictures in front of the wisteria or with the adjacent farm as a backdrop. The youngest kids even had room to run around on the lawn, while still being close to their families. We met with Tyler, the chef, a few weeks before the wedding to finalize the menu, based on what ingredients would be fresh and available that time of year. The passed hors d'ouvres ranged from tuna tartare with Dijon and shallot to sliders with Gruyere cheese, and crab cakes with lemon aioli to dates wrapped in maple glazed bacon. We also had a Tuscan table with a wide range of breads, dips, cheeses, meats and fruits. All of the food was delicious, fresh and beautifully displayed. In addition to being a gourmet chef, Tyler has an extensive background in high end catering for up to several hundred guests at a time. This was clear during the reception, as the food was served quickly and efficiently to every table. Our entree choices were roasted branzino filet with root vegetables, and summer short ribs with corn, tomato and asparagus succotash (along with an excellent vegetarian option). Everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully plated, just as you receive in their excellent restaurant. Lia, Colin (manager of the Inn), Grace (our daughter's bridal attendant -and much more) and the entire staff are committed to ensuring that your event follows your personal vision, rather than any pre-determined formula or schedule. While Lia will have a list of recommended outside vendors, there are no restrictions if you choose your own. You are required to reserve all 6 rooms at the Inn on the night of your event, but that also includes a delicious breakfast the following morning, as well as passes to several local vineyards for wine tasting. It was a perfect finish to an unforgettable weekend. In short, while we set our expectations very high, they were exceeded in every way possible.

ate of the art electronics made for a luxurious stay. We had rehearsal dinner in the "speakeasy," a cozy bar in the basement, and the wedding itself was outside on a lush lawn. The reception was in a newly renovated barn that was rustic but with every comfort (A/C, bathroom). The staff were tremendous throughout the whole weekend, gracious and friendly. And the food was incredible. Breakfast starts with Parisian-quality croissants and includes fluffy eggs, scrumptious French toast and perfectly ripened fruit. All of the appetizers, from homemade "pigs in a blanket" to oysters on the half-shell were tasty, and I highly recommend the short ribs for dinner! Kid-friendly and comfortable, this is the perfect place for an intimate wedding.

to us the entire time and at the end of showing us throughout the place she asked what we thought. Yes it was beautiful but we set up a meeting to hear about the packages they offer, the food options, the time slots, dates available, etc. we were told NOTHING. When we asked about pricing she said the food is great we make it here we have good reviews it's 200 per person. Okay not bad, but what does that 200 include? She didn't inform us about anything. I don't know how people book here but I will not be booking here..
