- Our wedding at Jedediah Hawkins Inn was nothing short of magical. The grounds are breathtaking and the staff are wonderful. Elias went above and beyond to help us design menus for the cocktail hour and dinner, and the food was absolutely delicious—our guests were blown away. People said it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had; shoutout to the grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters and corn chowder. Staff members like Eugenia made sure that everyone felt cared for throughout the entire day. They even boxed up special meals for members of the wedding party who were too preoccupied to eat dinner. The bridal suite was a highlight —eclectic and totally unique. Everything about the venue exceeded our expectations and made our wedding truly unforgettable.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at Jedediah Hawkins on 9/7/24. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day or perfect venue. Everyone at Jedediah was extremely helpful, responsive, and accommodating from day one. We knew we wanted to get married on the North Fork and JH didn’t feel like a cookie cutter venue and exemplifies the beauty of the area. Some of our guests stayed at the Inn with us the night of the wedding and we had a delicious brunch the following morning. We can’t say enough about the phenomenal food, every course from cocktail hour to dessert was excellent. Everyone on staff helped us plan and execute a special and memorable day!

The venue is top notch. A beautifully curated space from top to bottom. Lia, Colin, Eugenia and Corinne were on point the entire weekend, we cannot thank them all enough!
The food was 10/10. I think the greatest highlight was the food being not your average wedding food but prime meat, veggies and a filling starch.
The service and staff 10/10. My guests complimented the staffs professionalism and attentiveness the entire night.
We had a wonderful stay and look forward to spending many anniversaries at Jed's.

The venue is not only breathtaking but the staff are wonderful, and the bridal attendant was extra attentive. The food is unique and delicious - not your basic chicken/beef options! Several guest also raved about cocktail hour. You have the option to rent out the entire Inn and have a family style breakfast the next day, which is honestly such a memory I’ll never forget.

I just had my wedding here this past weekend 10/21/23, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue. The staff anticipated every need and the day ran so smoothly. I was initially sad we were going to have to move the ceremony from the lawn to the barn because of rain and wind, but I am SO glad we did. It was so cozy and intimate and my guests loved it! The food was 10/10 amazing. From the cocktail hour bites to the 3 course dinner reception, our guests could not stop raving about it! Having the after party in the speakeasy was so ideal because guests didn't have to travel to a different location, and staying in the Belvedere Suite for our wedding night is something I will never forget and hope to do again for our anniversaries to come! Special shoutout to Lia who was with us every step of the way to answer all our questions, and to our amazing bridal attendant Erin who went above and beyond on the wedding day to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. I can't recommend this venue enough! I wish we could do it all over again!

Where do I even begin? We knew we had to get married at this beautiful place from the moment we found it (such a hidden gem)! There’s just something so magical about it! The owner, Lia, was amazing to work with! She is such a kind, family-oriented, flexible person and she truly made sure every detail was perfect from our rehearsal dinner in the speakeasy, to our ceremony and reception outside and in the barn. The entire team at Jedediah Hawkins Inn are truly exceptional! I always heard that wedding planning was going to be stressful, but Lia and her team made it all so easy and smooth. We had the best day of our lives, thanks to Lia and her amazing team. We are so excited to go back and celebrate anniversaries/birthdays/etc. here in the future! Our guests can’t stop telling us that it was the best wedding they’ve been to, and of course, the BEST food!!! The food was seasonal, fresh, and absolutely delicious!! Thank you so much to the entire Jedediah Hawkins Inn team! You made our wedding an actual dream come true!

We had the entire Inn for a weekend. Hosted rehearsal dinner and morning after brunch there. Wedding guest count was too large or we would have been tempted to have it there too! The owners were gracious and accommodating, easy to work with. The rooms were very, very nice and we were all perfectly comfortable. The menus and food were exceptional - for example wine and spirit options were extraordinary. I cannot recommend them more highly!

Had my wedding at the venue a few days ago. The venue is just so gorgeous, charming and unique, with lots of history. Everyone kept commented on how beautiful it was. The second I drove up and saw the Victorian style inn, I knew this was where I wanted my wedding. Also, the food was delicious!

Amazing!!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to everyone at Jedediah, Lia the owner was always available by text or phone call even when I later found out she was overseas! I cant explain how perfect our wedding was, people were absolutely astonished by how stunning everything was, commenting that they had never been to a wedding like ours before. The charm and the beauty of Jedediah is amazing, everyone of our pictures no matter where we were was stunning. The food is amazing, everyone commented on how amazing the food was. Service also amazing. They are a boutique hotel and amazing restaurant, so unlike the vineyards where you have to bring people in and do everything yourself, Jedediah does everything for you! took so much stress off of planning not having to worry about hiring caterers, staff, etc. I cant recommend Jedediah enough! If you want to see pictures DM me on instagram @katharineworks, don't look any further just book it!

After 3 visits between myself and my parents, we received a quote the third time visiting. When we tried to follow up to discuss negotiations and a contract, we never heard back. Myself, fiancé and parents followed up multiple times. Still never heard anything. I was really looking forward to booking with JHI, but I am not comfortable booking my wedding with people who don’t follow up.

The first venue we looked at for our wedding and we fell in LOVE! From the location, to all of its unique features-the bridal suite, the speakeasy, and barn-it was perfect! My husband and I had our wedding there last month and the planning with Jedediah went so smoothly! I contacted them to set up a walk through and they let us come the same day! Lia who helped me through the planning process was out of the country and still made time for my phone calls and countless emails. On the day of the wedding Colin oversaw everything and took away any stress I could’ve potentially had. Despite the rain, the venue offered such unique features that no one even cared that it was raining-including myself! I would definitely Jedediah to anyone who wants a unique rustic wedding. My guests are still raving about the barn reception-the food was so fresh and perfectly executed. Thanks for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

OMG! I don't even know where to begin. My husband and I had our wedding here in September. Besides the venue being absolutely gorgeous and the food delicious, the staff was just incredible. Lia, the owner made choosing this place so easy for us. She was incredibly flexible (had to change my date bc of the US Open and all hotels in the area sold out) and comforting during the natural stress of planning a wedding. Colin, the manager was nothing short of amazing. He made sure that everything ran smoothly for us from start to beginning. He also went out of his way to set up a smores station for us that was not originally planned. I love this place so much and all the people who work there. They truly made our wedding a dream!

We loved Jedediah from the first second of our first visit here. It is an adorable well maintained inn overflowing with character with a speakeasy, a solarium, a patio, a gazebo and a rustic appearing but well renovated barn. We had our wedding with approximately 80 guests here in the late afternoon on a Friday in October. We were lucky to have a beautiful fall day. The ceremony was outside, with the cocktail hour on the patio and the reception in the barn. We also set up a Photo Booth in the gazebo. Every part of our wedding- from the staff at Jedediah (especially Lia and Colin), to the food, to the service, to the rooms at the inn was 5 star. Our guests are still talking about the sliders! We booked the entire inn Friday night for close family while other guests stayed at nearby accommodations. The suite on the third floor at Jedidiah is absolutely spectacular! The next day we had brunch at Jedediah with some of our wedding guests and spent the day with friends and family at local wineries. We had our version of the perfect wedding weekend at Jedidiah and in Jamesport.

We had our Fall 2018 wedding at Jedediah Hawkins and couldn't have been happier with our venue choice. The site and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We had the entire venue to ourselves for the day of, which was important to us. We had full use of the Barn, the grounds (we had a tented reception), outdoor space, the Inn, the Speakeasy - So many options to make your event your own. Also, there was plenty of space for everyone (girls & guys) to get ready separately on site...which meant less transportation hassle. AND the food is amazing - so many compliments from our guests!
You may have to be proactive when communicating with the venue and patient, as the main event coordinator travels throughout the year, but it will be worth it. Lia and Collin were both a pleasure to work with and they did a wonderful job accommodating any customizations we had. Overall, an amazing North Fork event venue!

I had the most magical experience having my wedding at this SPECIAL place. My wedding looked like a midsummer nights dream with a rustic flare. The staff was attentive and the food was exceptional. We utilized the entire space and hosted dinner the night before the wedding in the Solarium. Chef Tyler worked diligently to create menus that appealed to everyone and people are still talking about the food!!! Lia, the owner was helpful throughout and ensured that the day would go off without a hitch. Grace, the day of coordinator, rolled up her sleeves and was beyond helpful. Collin and the rest of the staff was equally helpful. My wedding was unique and special. The guest rooms, especially the bridal suite are exceptional. It is a one of a kind experience.
It didn't hurt that Jamesport fireworks took place on the same evening !

Jedediah Hawkins inn
After visiting over 30 venues, from New Jersey to the north fork of Long Island (including catering halls, wineries, vineyards and free standing barns), all it took was one look at Jedediah Hawkins Inn in Jamesport for our daughter to announce that "this is where I'm getting married." We immediately made an appointment with the owner, Lia, for the following weekend.
Unlike most venues, where you are told how the wedding will be structured (cocktail hour here, reception there), at Jedediah Hawkins you have much more flexibility, depending upon your personal vision. You have full access to the dining room and solarium in the Inn, the outdoor patio (with tables and seating), the barn, and a large lawn area. You have the freedom to choose from all of these options. In addition, unlike most other venues, Jedediah Hawkins is home to a top notch and popular restaurant (more on that later).
Our daughter chose to have her July 9th ceremony in the barn (air conditioned), the cocktail hour on the patio (additional seating in the restaurant also for anyone who wanted to sit indoors), and the reception under a tent on the lawn. An outdoor ceremony is also a popular option here because of the beautiful setting. Everything flowed seamlessly the entire day. During the reception, we had dinner and dancing under the tent, while guests could also stroll the grounds, play lawn games, or relax in the adirondack chairs. There's no need for a photo booth when the scenery is as stunning as it is here. You can take pictures in front of the wisteria or with the adjacent farm as a backdrop. The youngest kids even had room to run around on the lawn, while still being close to their families.
We met with Tyler, the chef, a few weeks before the wedding to finalize the menu, based on what ingredients would be fresh and available that time of year. The passed hors d'ouvres ranged from tuna tartare with Dijon and shallot to sliders with Gruyere cheese, and crab cakes with lemon aioli to dates wrapped in maple glazed bacon. We also had a Tuscan table with a wide range of breads, dips, cheeses, meats and fruits. All of the food was delicious, fresh and beautifully displayed. In addition to being a gourmet chef, Tyler has an extensive background in high end catering for up to several hundred guests at a time. This was clear during the reception, as the food was served quickly and efficiently to every table. Our entree choices were roasted branzino filet with root vegetables, and summer short ribs with corn, tomato and asparagus succotash (along with an excellent vegetarian option). Everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully plated, just as you receive in their excellent restaurant.
Lia, Colin (manager of the Inn), Grace (our daughter's bridal attendant -and much more) and the entire staff are committed to ensuring that your event follows your personal vision, rather than any pre-determined formula or schedule. While Lia will have a list of recommended outside vendors, there are no restrictions if you choose your own. You are required to reserve all 6 rooms at the Inn on the night of your event, but that also includes a delicious breakfast the following morning, as well as passes to several local vineyards for wine tasting. It was a perfect finish to an unforgettable weekend. In short, while we set our expectations very high, they were exceeded in every way possible.

I was here for a small wedding (about 80) and found the venue to be absolutely charming. The house itself has been restored with great care and attention to detail and comfort. Great beds and pillows, Frette robes, heated bathroom floors and state of the art electronics made for a luxurious stay. We had rehearsal dinner in the "speakeasy," a cozy bar in the basement, and the wedding itself was outside on a lush lawn. The reception was in a newly renovated barn that was rustic but with every comfort (A/C, bathroom). The staff were tremendous throughout the whole weekend, gracious and friendly. And the food was incredible. Breakfast starts with Parisian-quality croissants and includes fluffy eggs, scrumptious French toast and perfectly ripened fruit. All of the appetizers, from homemade "pigs in a blanket" to oysters on the half-shell were tasty, and I highly recommend the short ribs for dinner! Kid-friendly and comfortable, this is the perfect place for an intimate wedding.

This was the worst experience I have ever had venue searching. My fiancé and I came here overly excited to see the venue after seeing beautiful photos online. We were introduced to the miserable looking woman who showed us around, didn't speak to us the entire time and at the end of showing us throughout the place she asked what we thought. Yes it was beautiful but we set up a meeting to hear about the packages they offer, the food options, the time slots, dates available, etc. we were told NOTHING. When we asked about pricing she said the food is great we make it here we have good reviews it's 200 per person. Okay not bad, but what does that 200 include? She didn't inform us about anything. I don't know how people book here but I will not be booking here..

I had high hopes for having my wedding here. I e-mailed 4 different addresses hoping to get a response so I can simply see the Inn for a tour. After a week, I called and someone told me to e-mail again. Another week passed, and I received a response asking my date and they only bluntly said they aren't booking two years in advance. Nothing with how to inquire further or when to contact them again, nothing in showing interest towards working with me. An unfriendly vibe, unfortunately. I hope other brides have luck - it does seem beautiful!

We took our wedding photos at Jedediah Hawkins Inn. They were extremely accommodating as we had some bad weather and quickly needed an indoor place to shoot. I literally contacted them a few days prior to the wedding, seeing the forecast, and they were super sweet. Our photos look AMAZING! The speakeasy is totally cool and the location inside and out is gorgeous. I can't comment on an actual wedding here, but it looks fantastic.

My husband and I got married at Jedediah Hawkins on August 24 of this year. What a perfect, perfect night. We had our sit down reception in the Solarium, and our ceremony outside at the gazebo. The food, needless to say, was out of this world. And the bridal suite!! Our only annoyance was with the banquet manager Liz-she was disorganized, and messed up our quote. When we wanted to add something, she got quite annoyed that we challenged her error. If you can avoid working with her, I would-but the managers there (especially Adam) are wonderful.
