On the day of, he showed up way earlier than I expected to make sure he got all of the "details" shots of shoes/dress etc. that he wanted to get (which was, of course, more than fine that he was early!) and he was very much a positive presence throughout the whole day. He worked so well with the photographer, and contacted her before the wedding day to make sure they were on the same page. I could not be happier with the result we got for our "teaser" film, and I cannot wait to see the full video. I would recommend Jeff a million times over!!

deographer for our wedding. We just didn't know much about the pros and cons and weren't sure if it would be affordable. But the DJ we ended up booking, ActOne Entertainment (previously Active Entertainment), was one of Jeff's associates and mentioned a discount that was offered for booking them together so we took the plunge and agreed to meet Jeff (who is conveniently located right next door). At our first meeting in Jeff's comfy little office, we sat on the couch and listened as Jeff walked us patiently and honestly through the costs and the rewards of having a videographer at our wedding. He explained objectively what it might add to our experience and we NEVER felt pressured into booking anything. Jeff is not a pushy salesman-type guy, he is very genuine and kind, and even a little nerdy which my husband and I both loved about him. It is clear that he loves and takes pride in his work and gets excited telling you about all the cool features he can add to your footage- including his video-recording drone which provided us with breathtaking views of our gorgeous venues!! My husband and I ended up hiring Jeff Carpenter Studios and went with his intermediate-priced package, which covered enough man-hours for him to be filming for almost the entirety of our wedding day and pretty late into the reception, as well as an assistant (who if I'm remembering correctly is Jeff's polite and professional daughter), drone footage, a roughly 20-minute "movie" keepsake for us after the wedding, AND all of the raw footage he shot throughout the day. Jeff spends a pretty hefty chunk of time on the wedding videos (which we didn't mind because we were certainly plenty busy with other things) and it shows! We were married on August 31st and Jeff had our movie finished in time for Christmas. It was FABULOUS and he even gave us three free copies of the video on DVD or bluray, for ourselves and for each of our parents. He did release a short teaser video for us and I can't remember the exact timeline of that but I remember being shocked and impressed by how soon after the wedding he got that to us- I think it was only a couple of days later! Now that it is all said and done, we are thrilled with our decision to hire Jeff Carpenter Studios for our wedding day. He seriously adds so much to your overall experience, from his friendly and goofy personality to his respectful professionalism (he always made sure to ask if myself and all of my bridesmaids were decent before he came to our area to film us or our dresses/accessories). He's one of those guys who is just easy to get along with and will make you laugh when you're all nerves. I was also impressed by how much candid footage he managed to get; I'm one of those freaks who's usually hyper-aware of having a camera on me and I was surprised to see a couple instances in our wedding video of me having a moment of tranquility in the midst of all the crazy hustle that only your wedding day can be. My husband and I LOVE our video and will be forever grateful to Jeff and his team for helping us to solidify the memories we cherish of our incredibly special and insanely passed-in-a-flash wedding day! I HIGHLY recommend Jeff Carpenter Studios for your own special event!

watch the video on our anniversaries. Design Haven has been great to work with and worked great with my other vendors that we chose. He introduced himself to my photographer and DJ before the actual wedding day to make sure everything he was going to be doing wouldn't interfere with anything and to make sure they could help each other out for example the audio. They worked as a team to make sure we had the best outcome. After a couple months after the wedding, watching this video brings back all the memories in an amazing way! Wish we could go back to that day and do it all over again since it's the best day of our lives! Watching the video brought us to tears, and I'm so glad that we made the decision to have Design Haven (Jeff and his daughter) capture the love we have for each other in such a beautiful way!!

But it’s when you see the finished videos he produces that you realize how talented he is and what a smart decision you made to hire Jeff as your videographer. Thank you Jeff, for helping make Lauren and Justin’s wedding day a joyous, unforgettable experience for us. Even though this is a review for Design Haven Studios, I think it would be very helpful for anyone planning a wedding to know that Jeff works closely with Amber from Amber Henry Photography and with Chuck Spencer from Active Entertainment. You couldn’t go wrong by hiring any of them independently, but if you hire them together, it will be one of the best decisions you will make. Amber is an amazing, creative photographer and Chuck is an awesome, entertaining DJ. The three businesses are located in the same building and Jeff, Amber and Chuck love working with each other; and it shows. They know each other’s requirements and help each other rather than get in each other’s way. We were fortunate enough to hire each of them (book early) and it was truly a blessing for us. They were always upbeat and smiling and made us feel like we were family. We knew that they wanted everything to be perfect and it was a huge comfort to be able to put our trust in them. It was a real pleasure having them spend the day with us. My wife referred to them as the “dream team of weddings” in her reviews; a very fitting label.

All the months of preparation leading up to this special day was to be captured on film. and that was not going to happen. While I could not undo the fact that Clarence from I Define Studio did not show up for the wedding. I was so thankful that Jeff Carpenter was able to take the still photos from the photographer and make a slide show that was so beautiful. While I wish I would have hired Jeff from the start, he was able to compose a wedding DVD that will last a lifetime !! Thank your Jeff

a video. Our wedding day was so fast and high speed and thanks to our video we were able to watch and relieve it. It’s amazing how much you miss that day! The highlight video alone was worth every cent. It was a six minute clip and I have watched it probably a hundred times already. Then we received our full length video and it was everything we could’ve asked for. He captured the whole ceremony, the speeches, the shoe game, the dances with parents, the bouquet toss, and plenty more. Both the full length video and the highlight video make me cry every time I watch them...and I don’t cry very easily! :) I had never met Jeff before the day of our wedding, but when he showed up at my house I felt like we were already friends. He was so easy to be around, kind, professional, and genuinely wanted to help capture our day the way we wanted it captured. And what was more amazing was that I didn’t even realize he was there most of the time. He was inconspicuous during the whole process, so it was even more amazing to see what he captured. Jeff is incredibly talented. He went way above and beyond anything we expected. He is amazing and I absolutely think if you are using a videographer that you should book him!!!
