We had a wonderful experience working with Jeff for our wedding. His input on timing for photos between the ceremony and reception was invaluable and helped us stay on schedule. The effort he put in to encouraging us to specify in advance the individual photos that we wanted to have captured throughout the day meant that everything was captured smoothly and beautifully. Jeff did an amazing job photographing our wedding! He captured great posed pictures as well as many candid moments we can look back on forever. Jeff did an absolutely amazing job with my husband and I engagement and wedding pictures. If you want pictures that are going to be timeless and still beautiful 20 years later Jeff is your guy. During the wedding he helped keep us on a timeline and made sure to get every single picture that was important to us with the perfect mix of portraits and candid.

Wow! Five days after my wedding I am looking at the most stunning photos Jeff took and I cannot recommend Jeff Schaefer Photography enough! Jeff was easy to work with, quick to communicate, efficient in the planning process with great tools to make the daunting task of creating "the list"so easy and most importantly, his photos are fantastic! 10/10 would recommend Jeff and Becky as you will not be disappointed! Jeff does amazing work! He responds quickly to all communication and is very organized. He comes up with a detailed time line to make sure you have time to get all of the beautiful shots that you want. He has you fill out a checklist of all the photos you want and brings it the day of to make sure he doesn't miss anything. We received our pictures back in a week and he sent us a USB drive with all 900 photos on it for us to print what we want. You can't go wrong with Jeff!

I can’t even start to explain how great Jeff is! His photos are amazing and he is incredibly professional and easy to work with. He thought of everything that I didn’t and put in so much work even before the wedding (timelines, portrait lists…) We loved our engagement photos so much that we used one for our wedding invite! So needless to say we enjoyed our wedding photos even more! (Returned in less than a week!) Guests kept mentioning how awesome our photographer was and loved the “sneak peek” slideshow after dinner! My sister will be getting married soon and plans on hiring Jeff as well after seeing what a great experience we had with him.

Jeff was wonderful to work with. He captured our event perfectly and was very professional. He was very responsive in communication and was very detailed in planning for all of our shoots. To say Jeff was amazing is an understatement. I had a vision for how I wanted to pictures and even though he recommended against my idea he still let me have the photos I wanted. In addition he worked with everyone the day of the wedding making sure we were together and no one was missing. We had ALOT of people to get together. He was always moving about and getting in whatever position needed to get the perfect shot. Jeff worked with me on everything and I could not be happier with my wedding photos.

Jeff was a god sent for our wedding! As a seasoned wedding photographer he has all the insider knowledge. He worked with us and provided us with a timeline that we used with all our vendors. The pictures he took were absolutely gorgeous! Both he and his assistant were extremely helpful in directing our large wedding party as well as moving things/people around so they could get the perfect shot. Loved working with Jeff and in love with our pictures.

Jeff was the most patient, kind, easy to work with, directive (in a good way), and stealthiest photo-ninja we've ever had the pleasure to work with. TL; DR - he's worth it. We knew he was the photographer for us after experiencing a lackluster/uncomfortable call with another photographer before speaking with him. From the first phone call we had, he already had a plan in mind of how our wedding timeline could flow from the engagement shoot to the wedding itself. He gave us confidence and assurance that we were in good hands from start to finish- and we really were. If you can't feel comfortable with your photographer, then why go with them? We opted to proceed in having our engagement photos taken by Jeff back in May at a park in Fairfield. While we weren't personally familiar with the location, Jeff already knew the best spots to work out capturing our special moments. He worked quickly to get as many pictures for us under the threat of rain. You would think the rushed photoshoot would lead to less-likeable shots, but that wasn't the case at all with Jeff's work. Every shot was beautiful and still brings a smile to our faces. On the day of the wedding, we had our First Look photos taken at the George Rogers Clark Park first and Jeff truly shined with his artistic directions here. It was a last minute change in location due to a miscommunication on our part, but Jeff worked with us to make sure the shots we wanted (and more) were achieved. We had so many great photos taken of us and our wedding party. (Sorry my veil caused so many issues though! ;) ) Totally unrelated moment: During the short travel back to the venue, Jeff and the groom encountered a driver who was experiencing a really bad car issue (ie. pouring oil) on the road. Anyone else would have probably just driven around and ignored the situation. Instead, Jeff made sure the driver pulled over safely and notified her of the serious issue her car was experiencing. You sir are truly a gem. In the chaos of families that shared the same surnames (Kims and Foxs), he managed to wrangle our guests to capture the shots we requested in the ceremony space. He captured the tender moments of our wedding and the exasperated moments of the groom trying to force the sand down into the unity container after the ceremony. He even helped us capture a special photo that was in reference to an inside joke between us and our groomsman, and improved it with his directions. We will always cherish this photo. We received a notification a few days after the wedding that our flashdrive of photos were being shipped out as of Tuesday. Wednesday, we got a notification that all our photos were ready for viewing ONLINE. Jeff's turnaround time is ridiculous and superhuman. This is probably an incredibly wordy review, but I hope whoever takes the time to read this understands how amazing Jeff was as our photographer. We truly appreciate him working with us and definitely recommend him for anyone on the fence. Thank you so much, Jeff!

Got all of our shots, kept everyone comfortable with speedy photos (great in the heat) and was super flexible when we had to reschedule due to COVID.

Jeff was so easy to work with for both our engagement and wedding photos! His professionalism in the planning process leading up to our wedding helped make the day go smoothly. We were very impressed with how many photos we got (1100+) and how great they turned out. Our wedding album also turned out so good and we can't wait to display in our home and share with friends and family! Thanks again Jeff!

Jeff was truly amazing to work with! Living out of town he was great with communication and we fully trusted his expertise during the planning process. Our family and friends loved having him around at our rehearsal dinner and he always seemed to be around to capture impromptu moments. He captured everything we could have wanted and more at that event. The next day, our wedding, he did exactly the same! He knew our venue well and made us feel at ease while taking our portraits. We had so much fun with him and his staff and are so happy we had him around not only for our big deal, but throughout the weekend! We would hire him again for any event in a heartbeat!

Best quality pictures ever!! He photographed my brother’s wedding as well as mine, and we both couldn’t be happier with the results. He was very flexible with our schedule and went along with the random pictures we added along the way. He even got my dad to smile for pictures as well which is a bonus!!

Jeff was an absolutely amazing photographer. Having some background in taking pictures, I was very particular to the style and type of photographs I wanted. Likewise, we had an idea of what photos we wanted. When we chatted initially with Jeff, he was already 5 steps ahead of us. The amount of time and detail he took to go over the packages as well as what specific pictures we wanted with which parties was astounding. We absolutely loved the opportunity to also be able to get our engagement session done with him too. Harbin Park was beautiful and has now become one of our favorite locations. The quality of Jeff’s work is wonderful - we have many of our photos from our engagement and wedding framed onto canvas’ with no pixel issues. Our photos were also delivered to us in less than a week; both with an actually hard drive and an online link. We have peace and comfort knowing that our photos will forever be maintained and had a blast sharing them with friends and family. I would HIGHLY suggest using Jeff and we hope to use him again for other big life events we have in our future!!

Jeff did our engagement pictures and they came out amazing! The forecast was calling for rain during the time we had set up for our shoot and he was very flexible with time and came an hour early to get our pictures done before it started raining. He’s also very responsive to emails and had other ideas and places to go if it did end up raining on us. 10/10 would recommend!

I can not stop looking at my wedding pictures! We are so happy with everything that Jeff and his partner were able to capture at our wedding! Jeff was very easy to work with through the whole process. There were no hidden fees, or watermarks! He responded to all of our emails and calls quickly. He even provided very detailed information for every step of the process, from tips to photo list to best places to develop our photos, everything was shared in an easy to access shared drive. He took all of our requests and really has an eye for capturing the best angle, lighting and details. Our sunset pictures are incredible! We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Jeff is fantastic! He did our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and they all turned out great! Jeff is very honest and will tell you what will look the best for your photos. He is very responsive to questions. Jeff has a great eye for picture locations. We were going to go to a park that was mostly grass for our wedding portraits. However it had rained recently and the ground was soggy. A few days before the wedding Jeff suggested we go somewhere else for our wedding portraits so that I wouldn't get wet grass on my dress! Not only did he suggest a location change, but he had a already scouted out the area nearby and found some alternate places we could go that would give us good pictures but without the soggy ground. We chose to go to one of his alternate locations and our portraits turned out wonderfully! He was very respectful of the church's wishes regarding photography during the ceremony. Jeff worked well with our parents and siblings, so we got some great family pictures at our wedding as well. We got all the pictures we wanted and more. We couldn't be happier with Jeff!

From our initial consultation to our wedding day, Jeff was incredibly professional, helpful, and exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer! He paid close attention to our questions and desires during our initial consultation. After that meeting and looking through his work, it was an easy decision to book him. And I'm so glad that we did! One of my favorite things about working with Jeff is that he gives you very clear directions about how to pose during photos. I don't take many pictures, so I was nervous about that part. However, Jeff made me feel so confident and I feel like it shows in the final photos! Also, his assistant photographer was absolutely amazing at helping us take care of those little things like a tie that's not straight and the veil in the wrong place. All of my bridesmaids commented on how easy and enjoyable it was to work with Jeff and they were so impressed at how he made the photo part of the day relaxing, but still kept us on schedule.

The best thing we did for our wedding day was have Jeff there to capture every moment. His work is stunning and he was a joy to work with. We had a great experience from the beginning to end! My wife and I hired Jeff to photograph our wedding and we could not be happier with the work he did for us. He was always very professional, responsive, and punctual. As for the actual photography aspect, there is no one who does his job better than Jeff. He and his secondary photographer did a fantastic job capturing every aspect of our big day from all of the early prep all the way to the end of the night. He ended up delivering us over a 1000 pictures that were all so good that we had trouble picking out our favorites. We also recently picked up our wedding album and it exceeded all of our expectations. The album is extremely high quality and we are blessed to have such a great reminder of that day.
