Jeff was fantastic to work with! One of the things we loved about his photography was how he told a story throughout the day. He captured every moment including pictures of reactions, family members, friends, etc. We loved seeing the videos and we loved getting the pictures back within two weeks. They were fantastic and so happy we chose Jeff!!

Jeff did an absolutely amazing job with my husband and I engagement and wedding pictures. If you want pictures that are going to be timeless and still beautiful 20 years later Jeff is your guy. During the wedding he helped keep us on a timeline and made sure to get every single picture that was important to us with the perfect mix of portraits and candid.

Jeff does amazing work! He responds quickly to all communication and is very organized. He comes up with a detailed time line to make sure you have time to get all of the beautiful shots that you want. He has you fill out a checklist of all the photos you want and brings it the day of to make sure he doesn't miss anything. We received our pictures back in a week and he sent us a USB drive with all 900 photos on it for us to print what we want. You can't go wrong with Jeff!

I can’t even start to explain how great Jeff is! His photos are amazing and he is incredibly professional and easy to work with. He thought of everything that I didn’t and put in so much work even before the wedding (timelines, portrait lists…) We loved our engagement photos so much that we used one for our wedding invite! So needless to say we enjoyed our wedding photos even more! (Returned in less than a week!) Guests kept mentioning how awesome our photographer was and loved the “sneak peek” slideshow after dinner! My sister will be getting married soon and plans on hiring Jeff as well after seeing what a great experience we had with him.

To say Jeff was amazing is an understatement. I had a vision for how I wanted to pictures and even though he recommended against my idea he still let me have the photos I wanted. In addition he worked with everyone the day of the wedding making sure we were together and no one was missing. We had ALOT of people to get together. He was always moving about and getting in whatever position needed to get the perfect shot. Jeff worked with me on everything and I could not be happier with my wedding photos.

Jeff was a god sent for our wedding! As a seasoned wedding photographer he has all the insider knowledge. He worked with us and provided us with a timeline that we used with all our vendors. The pictures he took were absolutely gorgeous! Both he and his assistant were extremely helpful in directing our large wedding party as well as moving things/people around so they could get the perfect shot. Loved working with Jeff and in love with our pictures.

Jeff was the most patient, kind, easy to work with, directive (in a good way), and stealthiest photo-ninja we've ever had the pleasure to work with. TL; DR - he's worth it. We knew he was the photographer for us after experiencing a lackluster/uncomfortable call with another photographer before speaking with him. From the first phone call we had, he already had a plan in mind of how our wedding timeline could flow from the engagement shoot to the wedding itself. He gave us confidence and assurance that we were in good hands from start to finish- and we really were. If you can't feel comfortable with your photographer, then why go with them? We opted to proceed in having our engagement photos taken by Jeff back in May at a park in Fairfield. While we weren't personally familiar with the location, Jeff already knew the best spots to work out capturing our special moments. He worked quickly to get as many pictures for us under the threat of rain. You would think the rushed photoshoot would lead to less-likeable shots, but that wasn't the case at all with Jeff's work. Every shot was beautiful and still brings a smile to our faces. On the day of the wedding, we had our First Look photos taken at the George Rogers Clark Park first and Jeff truly shined with his artistic directions here. It was a last minute change in location due to a miscommunication on our part, but Jeff worked with us to make sure the shots we wanted (and more) were achieved. We had so many great photos taken of us and our wedding party. (Sorry my veil caused so many issues though! ;) ) Totally unrelated moment: During the short travel back to the venue, Jeff and the groom encountered a driver who was experiencing a really bad car issue (ie. pouring oil) on the road. Anyone else would have probably just driven around and ignored the situation. Instead, Jeff made sure the driver pulled over safely and notified her of the serious issue her car was experiencing. You sir are truly a gem. In the chaos of families that shared the same surnames (Kims and Foxs), he managed to wrangle our guests to capture the shots we requested in the ceremony space. He captured the tender moments of our wedding and the exasperated moments of the groom trying to force the sand down into the unity container after the ceremony. He even helped us capture a special photo that was in reference to an inside joke between us and our groomsman, and improved it with his directions. We will always cherish this photo. We received a notification a few days after the wedding that our flashdrive of photos were being shipped out as of Tuesday. Wednesday, we got a notification that all our photos were ready for viewing ONLINE. Jeff's turnaround time is ridiculous and superhuman. This is probably an incredibly wordy review, but I hope whoever takes the time to read this understands how amazing Jeff was as our photographer. We truly appreciate him working with us and definitely recommend him for anyone on the fence. Thank you so much, Jeff!

Got all of our shots, kept everyone comfortable with speedy photos (great in the heat) and was super flexible when we had to reschedule due to COVID.

Jeff was truly amazing to work with! Living out of town he was great with communication and we fully trusted his expertise during the planning process. Our family and friends loved having him around at our rehearsal dinner and he always seemed to be around to capture impromptu moments. He captured everything we could have wanted and more at that event. The next day, our wedding, he did exactly the same! He knew our venue well and made us feel at ease while taking our portraits. Best quality pictures ever!! He photographed my brother’s wedding as well as mine, and we both couldn’t be happier with the results. Jeff was an absolutely amazing photographer. Having some background in taking pictures, I was very particular to the style and type of photographs I wanted. Likewise, we had an idea of what photos we wanted. When we chatted initially with Jeff, he was already 5 steps ahead of us. The amount of time and detail he took to go over the packages as well as what specific pictures we wanted with which parties was astounding. We absolutely loved the opportunity to also be able to get our engagement session done with him too. Harbin Park was beautiful and has now become one of our favorite locations. The quality of Jeff’s work is wonderful - we have many of our photos from our engagement and wedding framed onto canvas’ with no pixel issues. Our photos were also delivered to us in less than a week; both with an actually hard drive and an online link. We have peace and comfort knowing that our photos will forever be maintained and had a blast sharing them with friends and family. I would HIGHLY suggest using Jeff and we hope to use him again for other big life events we have in our future!!

Jeff did our engagement pictures and they came out amazing! The forecast was calling for rain during the time we had set up for our shoot and he was very flexible with time and came an hour early to get our pictures done before it started raining. He’s also very responsive to emails and had other ideas and places to go if it did end up raining on us. 10/10 would recommend!

I can not stop looking at my wedding pictures! We are so happy with everything that Jeff and his partner were able to capture at our wedding! Jeff was very easy to work with through the whole process. There were no hidden fees, or watermarks! He responded to all of our emails and calls quickly. He even provided very detailed information for every step of the process, from tips to photo list to best places to develop our photos, everything was shared in an easy to access shared drive. He took all of our requests and really has an eye for capturing the best angle, lighting and details. Our sunset pictures are incredible! We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Jeff is fantastic! He did our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and they all turned out great! Jeff is very honest and will tell you what will look the best for your photos. He is very responsive to questions. Jeff has a great eye for picture locations. We were going to go to a park that was mostly grass for our wedding portraits. However it had rained recently and the ground was soggy. A few days before the wedding Jeff suggested we go somewhere else for our wedding portraits so that I wouldn't get wet grass on my dress! Not only did he suggest a location change, but he had a already scouted out the area nearby and found some alternate places we could go that would give us good pictures but without the soggy ground. We chose to go to one of his alternate locations and our portraits turned out wonderfully! He was very respectful of the church's wishes regarding photography during the ceremony. Jeff worked well with our parents and siblings, so we got some great family pictures at our wedding as well. We got all the pictures we wanted and more. We couldn't be happier with Jeff!

From our initial consultation to our wedding day, Jeff was incredibly professional, helpful, and exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer! He paid close attention to our questions and desires during our initial consultation. After that meeting and looking through his work, it was an easy decision to book him. And I'm so glad that we did! One of my favorite things about working with Jeff is that he gives you very clear directions about how to pose during photos. I don't take many pictures, so I was nervous about that part. However, Jeff made me feel so confident and I feel like it shows in the final photos! Also, his assistant photographer was absolutely amazing at helping us take care of those little things like a tie that's not straight and the veil in the wrong place. All of my bridesmaids commented on how easy and enjoyable it was to work with Jeff and they were so impressed at how he made the photo part of the day relaxing, but still kept us on schedule.

Jeff was the best wedding photographer! I looked at at least 20 other photographer webites before finding Jeff. Once I saw his pictures, I knew he was the photographer for us. Jeff responded quickly to my inquiry and set up a meeting with my husband and me. After talking with him, we saw how detail oriented he is and how hard he works to capture the emotion of every moment. We knew that our day would be photographed perfectly with Jeff! On our wedding day, he worked so hard the entire day. He arrived at 10:30 for getting ready pictures and was still there at 11pm photographing our final dance. First off if you're anything like me and you're concerned about the money, DON'T BE! It is seriously so worth it. Before I was even engaged I knew I wanted Jeff as my photographer. I'm 20 years old and a full-time student so my budget was around 10k. I used the majority of my budget on photos and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Secondly, Jeff is amazing! He is highly professional and very skilled in not only photography, but weddings as a whole. He helped to figure up a timeline and he did an excellent job at sticking to it. He did a wonderful job handling my large bridal party of 18 and my young flower girl. This is something that comes with experience and it is very evident he has a lot of it. My photos are amazing and Jeff made my wedding as smooth as possible. His assistant was also professional and super fun to work with. I highly recommend getting the second photographer if you can. I was first interested in Jeff Schaefer Photography because of the gorgeous photos I saw on his website (seriously, go check those out) but Jeff really goes above and beyond just great photos. He's clearly passionate about wedding photography and captures everything on the big day including lots of candid moments and small details as well as all the posed portraits. Compared to other weddings I've been in with other photographers Jeff was hands down the best at giving suggestions for posing and backgrounds and getting all those group pictures done quickly and effectively. He is also so fast and organized in getting your photos back to you, we had some playing at the reception (definitely a crowd pleaser) and all of them on a zip drive waiting for us when we got back from our honeymoon!

I would highly recommend you book Jeff for your photographer! He is very professional, his work is amazing and perhaps most importantly he is so helpful and makes everyone feel very comfortable and relaxed on the best day ever! My husband and I absolutely loved our wedding pictures! They turned out flawless! Our wedding was on an extremely hot day and we did a first look before the ceremony, but Jeff made it so easy to get the perfect pictures! He was willing to work with us on every detail of the day-of timeline and added all the locations we wished to get pictures at. My husband and I knew that choosing the right wedding photographer was going to be the most important part of maintaining memories from our wedding day, and we could not have been more pleased with Jeff Schaefer. It was the combination of his experience in shooting weddings as a full-time job, couple with his experience in the photography industry, that made him a perfect choice for our wedding. And boy, did he deliver! Throughout the wedding planning process, he was very available, answering our emails as we had them, and also working with us on setting up our wedding day timeline. And on the day of the wedding, you could not have asked for a more professional person keeping the stress level low recognizing his job is one of the most important ones that day! He followed the timeline perfectly and rolled with the punches as we needed more time here and there; he captured the various combinations of photos we asked for; he worked through some intense winds to capture some incredible shots; and he stayed through the entire wedding ceremony! Not only did he turn all of our wedding pictures 4 days after our wedding, but the pictures were OUTSTANDING. I don't know how he did it, but he was able to capture our personalities, our expressions, and really highlight the fun of the day. I don't even know how I am going to create an album because they are all SPECTACULAR. What's even more impressive is, when we shared the pictures with our friends and family, they were all saying the same things! Overall, everyone was impressed with the quality (and quantity as he had 1100 pictures) of the pictures Jeff shared back with us, as well as the way he just captured our personalities and behaviors perfectly. I continue to go through the pictures on a daily basis and I don't think it will ever get old. Thank you Jeff, and I highly recommend him for any bride and groom looking to make a great decision about preserving the memories of their big day.

Jeff and his associate were so professional and efficient at my wedding. At the ceremony and reception they stayed out of they way and sneakily took photos - we and the guests barely noticed. The photo results are stunning and that's at a dark venue that Jeff hadn't shoot at before (New Riff Distilling). We have amazing portraits and candid photos. I have no idea how to pose for photos, but Jeff directed me and my husband nicely so I felt like a star. Jeff even managed to get stunning photos of my squirming cat (Best Cat at the wedding), which is a miracle in my opinion. In less than two weeks after the wedding I received the flash drive with all my photos which were around 1000 high quality images.

Jeff photographed our wedding last September and did an amazing job! We were very happy with how our wedding photos turned out. We ended up with some awesome sunset photos and a great mix of candid as well as traditional photos throughout the day. Jeff was very easy to work with and very organized, which we really appreciated. He captured not only the major wedding and reception events, but also all the little wedding details including decorations. Great photos! This was the one thing my husband and I splurged on towards our wedding. The photos from this day will last forever so its important that they be perfect. Jeff is an extremely talented photographer and my photos are stunning. He offers three different packages of varying prices to match your budget and also offers hardback photo books that he himself designs (of course allowing the opportunity for your input). I had no idea of the types of pictures I wanted so Jeff took charge and put all of us in poses that resulted gorgeous pictures. I had a large amount of people to get pictures of (6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen, 3 jr bridesmaids, flower girl, ring bearer, and 3 ushers, not to mention family members....) and somehow he managed to control the situation and achieve a fantastic result. I couldn't be happier with my pictures. If I had to pick one complaint it would be I wish it had gone faster, simply because it was 90+ degrees out that day and I was sweating like crazy...but then again, you can't rush art. I would recommend Jeff to anyone looking for truly beautiful and memorable pictures from their wedding. In my opinion no other photos compare to his.

Jeff Schaefer photography did an amazing job! We did their all day package so we had pictures that covered the whole day from getting ready, our first look, three different locations before the ceremony, the ceremony, and lots of reception fun!! He did a great job making the day stress free! A big part of that was because of all the pre-planning. He gave us great examples/ opinions on where we could do pictures that would be cool before the ceremony. We also had a plan B for if the weather was not cooperating. He knew all the ins and outs for example if we need a permit or if we needed to put down a deposit to take pictures in specific places. This whole process made me feel like I would have great pictures no matter what and I did!! We also had a couple of specific pictures we wanted done and he took care of everything we wanted! The pictures turned out fantastic we get tons of compliments on them all the time and now we have a great way to remember our special day!

Both Jeff and his other photographer were wonderful. They captured a lot of great shots, including candid moments of our big day. They also worked well with the videographer so everything was in sync , and they kept things rolling without any issues. We're so glad to have so many beautiful pictures to remember our wedding.

Jeff did a fantastic job capturing our entire day. We did a lot of corresponding via email because we live in a different state than where the wedding was taking place and Jeff was very easy to work with! Jeff was amazing to work with. Nearly all of our friends and family members have used him as well. Every aspect of our wedding day was captured. People tell us all the time that our photos look like they should be in a magazine. We recieved our photos 14-days after our wedding. The turnaround time was impressive! Our photos were actually playing on a screen at our wedding reception. We also received a beautiful leather photo album- the quality is one of a kind.
