Jefferson Country Club

We had our ceremony and reception at Jefferson and it was amazing!! We would not have been able to do it without the help of their onsite coordinator Laura. From the tasting, timeline, and rehearsal she was the best. We did not have set up or tear down. They have a really nice locker room my groomsmen and I were able to stay in, and my wife and her bridesmaids stayed in their bridal suite the whole day to get ready. Our guests loved their food, and would not stop talking about the candied bacon. It was a beautiful day, and my wife and I could not have have asked for a better night.

We got married in May and everything about Jefferson was AMAZING! The event coordinator, Katelyn, did everything in her power to make sure everything ran smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about anything on our wedding day. We brought our own decorations and I was able to explain how I wanted them set and they took care of the rest. Also, the food was delicious, we still get compliments about it! It was so convenient to be able to get ready, have the ceremony and reception at one place, especially for guests. The only change I would have made was ensure a golf cart was run from the parking lot to the outdoor ceremony location for older guests.

Our wedding at Jefferson Country Club was perfect! JCC was within our budget and near our home, which made it really convenient to plan everything out with Laura. The food was delicious and we got many compliments on it. The layout of the venue was great as well. I dropped off all of the decorations to Laura the week of the wedding and talked about where everything was supposed to go. When my husband and I walked into the venue shortly after arriving from our ceremony, I loved it! Everything came together more beautifully than I could have imagined. Laura and JCC were great to work with and I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Thank you Laura!

We had the most perfect wedding thanks to Laura Watson, the event planner at JCC. I loved everything about this venue and how smoothly the day ran. This was due to the tireless effort of Laura to ensure our vision was brought to life. She was willing to go above and beyond to ensure we were happy. We set up countless meetings to make sure we were all on the same page. Because of Laura I was never stressed throughout the wedding planning process, I knew she had my back and truly understood the vision we had for the day. I would recommend everyone taking a look at JCC, and know that you can transform a banquet space to however you would like the venue to look. It may just take a little imagination. I cannot gush enough about how great the room looked, how amazing the servers were, and how the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were thrilled. THANK YOU LAURA!

If you are considering an outdoor ceremony with an indoor formal ballroom reception, then look no further. It doesn't get any better than the Jefferson Country Club. The ceremony site overlooking the pond is beautiful, as is the ballroom. I loved that the ballroom wasn't just another windowless room. The patio gave guests the flexibility to have a conversation away from the music if they wanted. There's also a fireplace in the room that the club set up a couch and chairs around, which became a great place for the guys to hang out. It's the service that really sets the country club apart from it's competitors. Laura Watson, the catering manager, and the entire country club staff were absolutely amazing. I love that the club is so transparent and fair about pricing. The day of the tour I got a written estimate, so there would be no surprises. Before committing, I wanted to try the food since I'd never dined at the club. Laura took care of arranging dinner reservations for us. The wonderful service didn't stop after we booked. At our tasting, Laura even surprised us with a complementary dessert. The food was so good we had a really hard time making selections. Everything on the day of the wedding was flawless! Laura was always there, just out of sight, making sure everything was running smoothly. At the end of the night, the staff boxed everything up for us exactly as we gave it to them making it super easy to load back into the car.

I scheduled a tour to see the facility at 9:30am on a Saturday, as suggested by the coordinator (Laura). My parents came into town to see the venue as well. Laura was a no call no show, and there was no apology or follow up afterwards. Very unprofessional. All of the efforts in getting my family there were all for nothing.

When you are a "hostess with the mostess" you want a venue whose team will take over those responsibilities and make your wedding a seamless and fun event where your guests have not a thing to worry about; the staff at Jefferson Country Club did just that. Our guests had the most amazing time at our wedding, raved about the food and service, and adored the space. We also could not be happier with the time and attention give to us as we planned our 200 person celebration with a band and a few unique personal touches. Laura and her team worked so hard to make our vision come to life and we cannot say enough great things about them. I would strongly recommend Jefferson Country Club to anyone.

Thanks to Laura Watson and the team at the Jefferson Country Club, we truly had the perfect wedding reception. We could not have possibly imagined anything better. Laura took the time to understand what we wanted and made our vision a reality. The food was delicious and every detail was attended to. The staff made our guests feel welcome, and everyone is still commenting on how much they enjoyed the reception and venue. Many people said it felt like being in a movie. Jefferson Country Club made my wedding day absolutely perfect! First, they are absolutely affordable, the food is AMAZING, and the staff are a real class act. Laura, who is in charge of events at the club, is an amazing party planner. It was my husband and my dream to get married outside- of course, we had rain the day and night before and hail and rain the morning of the wedding. Laura did not give up our dream of having it outside and found a way for us to have it on the patio! Laura also is amazing at making sure everything is done the way you want it. She goes above and beyond and always found a way to make our wishes come true. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful! Again, the food was wonderful and our guests are still raving about it! If you are planning a wedding, please look at Jefferson Country Club. We are so glad we found the club and I don't know if our day would have been as perfect anywhere else! You will not be disappointed!

I had never heard of Jefferson Country Club until I went to the Columbus Bride Show in January 2012. I met Laura Catalogna, Jefferson's Wedding Planner and explained to her that my Fiance and I were having such trouble finding a venue that we can afford. Laura told me that she would work with my budget and suggested that I schedule time to come in. My Fiance and I made an appointment to see the Club and were BLOWN AWAY! It was so much more beautiful thank any other place that we visited. We were sure that it was going to be out of our budget. We told Laura what we could afford and she went to her office to play with the numbers and came back out with an estimate that was SPOT ON our budget. We COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! We booked it that week for our wedding on August 25. My experience in planning my wedding was so much easier with Laura's help. From the moment that you meet her, she's warm and receptive and so easy to talk to. You never feel like she's rejecting any of your ideas and she's always there to help you solidify all of you random ideas into one cohesive plan. She makes herself available whenever you need her and is always willing to sit down with you to work out ideas. She also understands that we all can't afford Platinum Weddings and is there to suggest cost effective solutions. I had very much a DIY wedding. I made a lot of the centerpieces and shopped around for a lot of the decor. I was worried how it was all going to come together when I dropped everything off a few days before the wedding. I knew I had enough of everything, but I wasn't able to lay out 20 tables worth in my living room at home! The night before I wedding, I spoke with Laura about what I envisioned as I pointed to all of my boxed up decor. When I walked in the morning of the Wedding I was FLOORED. She and her team had set up this fairytale of a room. It was like everything I had every dreamed of for my Wedding was right there in front of me. I wanted to lay down and NEVER LEAVE! The feeling that I had when I first saw the room is something I will never forget. The wedding itself was flawless. Laura and her staff made sure to be available for our every need. I'm someone who also questions whether I forgot something. It was such a reassuring feeling that if I had forgotten something, that Laura would've reminded me or taken care of it herself. That really helped me be at ease the day of. My bridesmaids and I had our own space to set up for the morning and snack and get our hair done. When it was finally time to walk down the aisle, Laura got us all prepared and had people waiting to signal us down. As for the reception, I have to talk about the food - IT WAS TO DIE FOR! It was absolutely delicious and everyone loved it! We heard SO MANY positive things about the food. I even had a waitress walk with me through the buffet, filled my plate and took it to my seat for me. I felt like royalty! The waitstaff was excellent. I can't say enough about them! At the end of the night, the staff had everything boxed up so we were able to pick it up first thing the next day and not have to worry about it as we prepared to leave for our Honeymoon. I absolutely recommend this location for anyone looking for a Wedding location. I had the best day of my life at Jefferson Country Club and I can't begin to thank everyone there enough!

I have zero regrets about choosing Jefferson Country Club as the venue for our wedding. The event coordinator there is AMAZING, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The venue itself is beautiful, and the permanent decoration is very contemporary, yet plain enough that it's easy to add your own personality to it. No complaints here!

This site is beautiful and looked really great the day of our wedding. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of their wedding planner. She tried to pressure us into changing some ideas we had and seemed fake. We made some requests for the day that she said she would do for us and did not do and communicating with her seemed impossible. She responded to us in a timely manner, but I felt like she wasn't listening to us. Overall, the day went well and I have no big complaints.

It is a beautiful venue and the staff is very helpful and accommodating! My (now) husband and I walked into the country club and thought there is NO WAY we can afford this place....but it was well within our budget and we could not have been happier with our choice! The event coordinator is so detail oriented and wonderful!

We had our reception at JCC in the summer of 2011 and have nothing but good things to say about the venue. The food was amazing, the staff was accommodating and the grounds are gorgeous. Laura (the wedding coordinator) was an absolute pleasure to work with and she handled all of the coordination with the vendors so we could focus on the last minute details of planning our wedding. She stayed until the end of our reception and checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going as we expected. We had our post ceremony/wedding party photographs taken on the grounds and they were beautiful. Our guests complimented us on the venue and enjoyed themselves as much as we did. We found the cost of this venue to be in alignment, if not lower, than comparable locations. We had approximately 170 guests attend our reception and were able to stay within our budget by utilizing the price quotes that the JCC staff provided to us during the planning process.

Wonderful!! My daughter and son in law's reception was held at Jefferson Country Club on 9/3/11. It was absolutely the most beautiful and smoothest day. We received so many compliments on what a beautiful wedding and reception it was (even received a thank you card in the mail for the wonderful time). The venue was beautiful, the food was excellent and the service was great. The best is that they have a wedding planner that is top notch. Laura suggested vendors that were great and made our job so much easier. I did not realize when we first planned the wedding at Jefferson that they had a wedding planner to help us so that was like a double bonus as towards the end of planning the stress starts mounting that all is coordinated. Laura did that for us. Laura was at the church rehearsal and at the church wedding for anything we needed. She kept our "partying" wedding party alway on track and was always checking on details at the recepton. What a relief to have that off my shoulders. I would highly recommend Jefferson Country Club.

We had our ceremony and reception at Jefferson Country Club and it was just wonderful! The prices are reasonable, the club is beautiful, the food is fantastic, Doug (the head chef) is so accommodating, and Laura (Wedding Coordinator) is so friendly, outgoing, and on her game! (She even came to our rehearsal to help us out.) JCC also can accommodate indoor and outdoor weddings - we wanted our ceremony to be outdoors; however, it ended up raining most of the day and they were able to change it to be indoors 3 hours before the ceremony started. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Jefferson Country Club!

We had our reception at Jefferson Country Club and would recommend it to every other bride we know! One of our friends referred us there initially, and we are so happy they did! The prices are VERY VERY reasonable too, and the food is amazing. Our guests had so much fun. JCC did not nickle-and-dime us either, which I really appreciated. Laura, the coordinator, is also great. She took care of absolutely everything, decorated, confirmed vendors, and stayed the entire night. Laura is organized and gets a timeline together for you. Most importantly, she is ALL about the bride... when we arrived to the venue, my stomach was so upset (nerves) and she came out with a little dish of Tums. She helped me fix my dress when the bussels came out, and was constantly going around making sure everything was going well. She has a very calming and bubbly personality too, which helped me calm down a lot. Finally, the venue is beautiful. one thing I regret is spending so much money on florals, because the venue is so nice that it doesn't really need a whole lot to be elegant! Would recommend. They made it the best night of our lives!

We loved the country club...the food is awesome, the service was awesome and the venue is beautiful! The only downfall at our wedding reception was that they served the wrong food! We ordered three entree's and they gave us a fourth, and they also served the wrong chicken entree entirely. Other than that, great!
