God has given me a servant’s heart which is the foundation of my business. My job is to serve and to bless you by knowing what you need (often before you do), putting you first, enhancing your wedding-planning and wedding-day experiences, and providing you with cherished memories you and your family will love to look back on for generations to come. It’s challenging to adequately articulate my love for photography. Although it doesn’t define me, it’s become an integral part of who I am. Some people say that they express themselves through their photography, and I suppose there’s some truth in that for me as well, but for me it’s more about you as my subject and capturing who you are and what you are feeling and experiencing in one of the most important moments of your life. I unexpectedly lost my brother in early 2023, and I learned that I don’t have any photos of just the two of us together. It hit me how invaluable it is to take advantage of capturing every possible moment we can with the people we love. This is why I love doing what I do. We can take selfies all day long, but there’s something special about being able to capture people living in the moment – the emotion, the authenticity, the beauty, the humor, (and even the pain). It’s also about the artistic perspective in which you’re seen. Every person has a unique way in which they view the world, which means that as a photographer I will have my own unique style in which I capture the special moments of your life. I love finding a myriad of ways I can freeze a single moment in time with lighting, angles, composition, and even editing. The more ways I can photograph a single moment the more options you’ll have for how to see yourself and your special day. Variety is the spice of life, and I am all about bringing variety to the table! But it’s more than just the photos, because you have to enjoy the experience and the process as well! The better you and I get to know each other, the more fun we can have and the more we’ll enjoy creating a memory out of capturing your photos while we’re together. I’m aware that sometimes I need to be discrete and stay out of the way, other times I need to help set the mood, and still other times I need to help to get you out of your head and make you more comfortable in front of the camera. I’ve participated in more weddings than most people I know. In addition to the hundreds of weddings I've photographed, I grew up as a pastor’s son and was always behind the scenes of weddings, I've been a groomsman about half a dozen times, the best man three times, the officiant twice, a bartender, a caterer, and a guest more times than I can count - and, of course, my all-time favorite roll was as a groom!
