Working with Jemille was an A+ experience from start to finish - he and his bandmates were an absolute highlight of the wedding and we got so many compliments from our wedding guests. Jemille is an incredibly talented musician and it was so clear how much he cared about making our day feel so special. He was always quick to respond throughout the process and spent so much time working with me to create the perfect custom playlist for our cocktail hour and dinner performances, including a custom take on "Hold on, we're going home" for our first dance. It was so special to have so many of my favorite songs performed by him and his bandmates. I also really appreciate how patient and flexible he was with us having last minute changes in wedding plans due to weather. I wish we lived in the area so that we could see him perform more often. If you're considering Jemille to perform at any event, I cannot recommend him enough - you will be so glad you did.

Jemille is an incredibly talented musician. He is able to play and sing ANY song! Our guests absolutely loved his voice. He is also a top notch professional. He helped us shape the musical vision of our cocktail hour by collaborating with us to create a beautiful playlist. I cant say enough about his professionalism. He was communicative, on time, set up and broke down his own equipment, and fit into our wedding day perfectly. I cannot recommend Jemille enough for your music needs!

Jemille is the absolute best!! We have been working with him at our corporate events for years and he is always a massive hit. He is professional, communicative, and insanely talented. As an event planner, it is so wonderful to have a vendor we know we can continue to rely on for a phenomenal experience start to finish. We've worked with him as a solo performer, a duo, and with his full band and he's delivered in every single combination. We love Jemille!!!

Jemille performed at our wedding over the summer, it was several hour event outdoors and indoors. He is very talented and easy to work with, he customized several songs and has a wide repertoire to choose from!
He has excellent communication, easy to jump on calls to prep and he responds quickly.
He is professional, we requested to remove some lyrics which he accommodated with no questions asked.
He is well organized and equipped, always on time and ready to perform! With top of the line equipment and multiple systems to seamlessly switch from outdoor to indoor.
Go for the extra hour/longer set, he's worth it!

Jemille was an absolute hit! Everyone loved him and he sounded phenomenal. Truly one of our favorite vendors we chose. He was so professional and very communicative throughout the months leading up. Most importantly and unsurprisingly, he learned all the songs for our ceremony AND 2 of our favorite songs for cocktail hour.
We feel so lucky we found a hidden gem of a vendor in Jemille! Already can’t wait to get more wedding footage to relive the day and hear some of the instrumental.
All you need is Jemille with his mic and piano and then the whole event is ELEVATED.

Jemille is an exceptionally talented musician!
My wife found him here on The Knot while we were searching for a wedding musician. We reached out to him and asked if we could see him perform live. Luckily, he was playing at a nearby restaurant in Estancia La Jolla that night, so we made a date night out of it. We were blown away by his vocals and knew we wanted to book him. Jemille was kind enough to visit our table during his breaks to chat, get to know us, and discuss our wedding ideas, including creating a custom melody from our three favorite love songs. We left that night with so much excitement for the future.
Over the next few months, Jemille diligently composed our melody, sending drafts and asking for feedback until we finalized a version we loved. He also recruited his saxophonist to help with parts of the melody and to accompany him on our wedding day. The performance was a huge success! We received numerous compliments on our melody and Jemille's performance, with many guests wishing they could have played longer. Jemille is someone who is very reliable, dependable, easy to talk to, and wonderful to work with. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a musician with a lot of heart. We are truly honored and forever grateful for the gift of his melody and performance.

We became big fans of Jemille when we heard him for the first time at Sideyard public house. We were very impressed with his rendition of many popular pop and R&B songs. We booked him for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and received a lot of positive feedback. The venue itself was also very impressive by his performance, communication, and professionalism. We highly recommend Jemille for any event!

One year ago, we toured La Valencia for our wedding. On our way out, my wife was using the restroom while I heard Jemille play “New Light”. In her frustration of reviewing bands, I suggested we go back to La V for brunch during one of Jemilles sets and within the hour our wedding coordinator was drafting a email to book him.
Up until wedding day, communications were efficient, understanding of positioning and times were known and the cost was one of the most affordable parts of our wedding.
As for the wedding, Jemille learned a few of our most desired songs for the ceremony and the remainder of his vast collection played perfectly to the mood. He was engaging with our guests and even took requests.
Our guests(and the hotel) that arguably hosts hundreds of weddings each year, we’re surprised that we found this “hidden gem”. He was so great that night that we asked for his services to be extended 1hr before our DJ took over.
I can’t recommend Jemille enough. He was and still is a huge talking point of our wedding and we are even looking at requesting him for future events. He will certainly meet any expectations you have.
